[Completely Smoke-Free] A shabu-shabu all-you-can-eat restaurant opened in June 2019 in Atsubetsu-ku, Sapporo City ^^ One of the restaurants owned by Ryuraku Co., Ltd., a member of the Skylark Group, which operates many buffet restaurants nationwide. The buffet at Daimaru Sapporo Store is popular in Sapporo ^^ The all-you-can-eat meat options include beef, pork, and chicken (varies by course), while rice, curry, noodles, vegetables, and desserts are available buffet-style! Sushi is ordered in sets of up to 3 pieces per person. Drinks, sauces, and condiments are self-service. On May 19, 2022, a little after 11 a.m., I revisited with Lilias for lunch. Let's eat lots of vegetables ♬ I love vegetables, so I'm happy (・ω・) There are also unexpected vegetables at the shabu-shabu leaf station, which is fun to try cautiously. The condiments include mysterious items, so it's enjoyable to think about which sauce to pair with them ♬ Both of us are not big fans of beef, so we chose this course: chicken, pork belly, and pork loin. Even though it's been a year since my last visit, the system has changed once again. The meat is now brought to the table by a serving robot. The cat's mind installed for the serving robot (☯ω☯) nya~ Don't put the empty plates on it (☯ω☯) nya~ It can somewhat sense people and avoid them (☯ω☯) nya~ By the way, Mochitan doesn't seem to be detected as much (☯ω☯) nya~ It looks cute with its top part (☯ω☯) nya~ There are two options for the hot pot: regular white dashi and chin soup with soy milk. Vegetables, sauces, rice dishes, etc., are all prepared and ready once you bring them to the table. It's really thoughtful and convenient (☯ω☯) nya~ <- I can't do that, so it might be a staff member. Now, let's dig in after finishing the filming. The chicken is tender with no odor, and the pork belly and pork loin are thinly sliced, so they cook quickly. The rice is a bit clumpy, so I focus more on eating lots of meat and vegetables. The mushrooms and vegetables are all fresh and plentiful, which is really nice even in these times. Despite the large capacity, the restaurant is over 70-80% full. In such a crowded place, there's plenty of charm, safe transportation, running around in all directions, and no need for rest. I went for lunch. I had the all-you-can-eat pork belly shabu-shabu by myself. It was the cheapest option, but I could eat plenty of vegetables and it was a healthy lunch. I arrived a little before 12 o'clock. It was a bit crowded, but I was seated right away. A satisfying lunch.

I'm tired from yesterday's Esconfield expedition. I slept until 5 in the morning! Isn't that unusual? I don't have any plans for today, so I went to a vegetable market with my wife. Unfortunately, the sugarcane I wanted was sold out at 11 am. I had beef bowl at Esconfield yesterday, but it left me wanting more meat. I suggested all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu on the way back, and my wife agreed. We ordered the beef and pork all-you-can-eat course for 1979 yen including tax. Luckily, by pressing the button for those over 60, we got it for 1649 yen including tax. We enjoyed the shabu-shabu with white and chicken soy sauce broth. I ate 15 pieces of beef while my wife ate 5 pieces. The air conditioning was strong, but the hot dipping sauce made us sweat. The dipping sauce with ponzu, chopped green onions, and grated radish was perfect for us old folks. We also had delicious curry rice, soft-serve ice cream twice, and coffee jelly with a hint of bitterness. The service was excellent. Thank you very much!

Today, I went to Shabuya for dinner. I come here occasionally. Sometimes, I feel like eating meat in a light way, so I decided to visit today. They offer four types of dashi broth: lemon, yuzu, chicken, and clam chowder. Honestly, the lemon broth was amazing! I also tried the beef tongue, which was good, but I think grilled beef is the best! The sushi was average. It's great that you can eat a variety of dishes at a low price and in a healthy way. Iberico pork and pork belly were definitely the highlights! When it comes to shabu-shabu, I think pork is the best.

It's been a while since I visited Shabuya. I decided to go with the usual pork belly dinner. While lamb is my favorite meat for shabu-shabu, I had to choose between beef and pork this time. I've tried a few options, but the pork belly was the most delicious, so I've been ordering that ever since. Their soft serve ice cream is also a favorite of mine. I used to have it on top of their homemade waffles, but lately I've been just having the soft serve on its own since I get full towards the end. You can eat plenty of vegetables and shabu-shabu is just the best! I finished off with ramen in yuzu salt broth. It's quite delicious!

I visited a shabu-shabu buffet located in the Seiyu premises in Kita Ward in May 2022. The fact that there is no time limit on weekdays is very appealing. I had plenty of green onions. The presence of lettuce is also attractive. The variety of sauces and condiments was rich, making it a fun buffet experience after a long time.

Shabu-shabu chain restaurant Shabu-Yo is a stable choice. I use it occasionally. In terms of infection prevention, they require alcohol disinfection and glove wearing. The meat is delicious for the price, and they have a sauce bar where you can enjoy various toppings and sauces to create your own dipping sauce. Although there was a mishap with the rice running out today, I am generally very satisfied. What sets them apart from other shabu-shabu restaurants is: 1) the sauce bar with plenty of toppings and sauces, 2) paying extra allows you to enjoy four types of broth instead of just two, 3) they offer more meat courses than other places, and 4) the style of wrapping thinly sliced green onions and enoki mushrooms around the meat is delicious. Personally, I love Shabu-Yo because of points 1 and 4!

Today is the last day of my two-day weekend! For breakfast, I had the "Ikura Awabi Don" at Nakau~♪ My morning routine on holidays~ I looked at a lot of reviews on Tabelog and apparently you can get a 10% discount on food and drinks with a JAF discount coupon? It's at "Shabu-ya Atsubetsu Seiyu Store"! It's a Skylark Group restaurant! It seems to have opened a few years ago after Gusto closed down. After cleaning my parents' house at the end of the year, it's time for lunch! Me: "A shabu-shabu restaurant in Seiyu?" Wife: "Really?" I can't disclose any more details from here~ Delete it, right? Arrived at Atsubetsu Seiyu's parking lot! Entered the restaurant and it's past 12 pm, but it's quite crowded. The staff are disinfecting with alcohol~ Please cooperate! Two people at a time for disinfection! The tables are spaced apart, with thorough COVID-19 measures in place! Ordered via a tablet device. The all-you-can-eat course with three kinds of pork belly is 1,199 yen before tax, which comes to 1,319 yen tax included~ The cheapest course! Unlimited time until 4 pm on weekdays! Self-service for vegetables, sauce, condiments, salad, udon, ramen, rice, chirashi sushi, curry, and dessert! The all-you-can-eat course with three kinds of pork belly and vegetables is 990 yen before tax~ So, we chose that one! Visual: The "three kinds of pork" are thin slices, but it's not bad for the price~ The sauce choices were ponzu sauce with grated radish and chopped green onions. The curry was a thin type. The broth was mostly white, but you could choose chicken broth. After eating: I had 10 plates of three kinds of pork, a lot of sliced kuzukiri, a lot of bean sprouts, 2 plates of curry, and chirashi sushi! My wife had 5 plates of three kinds of pork, but also dessert? I can't disclose the dessert! PS: The staff are well-trained! Visited on December 10, 2020 and suddenly felt like eating shabu-shabu, so I visited after a long time. I couldn't eat slowly because I was at work, but I ate a lot in one go (laughs). There are various courses available such as all-you-can-eat for 1 type of meat, 2 types of meat (belly and loin), and 3 types of meat (belly, loin, and chicken). Some courses even include all-you-can-eat sushi. This time, I went for the 3 types all-you-can-eat, but realized that I don't really eat chicken (laughs). I ate vegetable salad, 2 bowls of rice, a plate of green onions, tofu, 6 plates of pork belly, 6 plates of pork loin, and 2 plates of chicken. I could only eat 14 plates of meat. Thinking about how it used to be when I was younger... well, that's age (laughs). Weekday lunch is from 11:00 to 16:00 with unlimited time for all-you-can-eat. When it comes to shabu-shabu, people tend to focus on the meat, but I was drawn to the all-you-can-eat vegetables. Being able to put in as much leeks, chives, and Chinese cabbage into the pot as I wanted was amazing, isn't it? I aimed for a time when there were few people - just before 11 am. As expected, it was quite comfortable with few people. I ordered the lunch all-you-can-eat three-layer pork belly course with a drink bar. I decided on the yuzu salt broth. Since it was pork belly, there was a lot of fatty meat. Shabu-shabu with yuzu salt broth was less heavy and had a light flavor, which I liked. And then, the vegetables - mushrooms, leeks, Chinese cabbage, tofu, bean sprouts, chives... all-you-can-eat favorite ingredients for hot pot! It was like heaven!! I ended up shabu-shabu-ing more vegetables than meat. It would be nice to have a course where you can only shabu-shabu vegetables. I still prefer the light and refreshing flavor of yuzu salt, and towards the end, I think I was only putting vegetables in the yuzu salt broth. They are taking thorough measures against infection, such as providing disposable gloves and encouraging mask-wearing, which is good. It's payday, so I thought it might be crowded, but I'm glad I came. There's a yakiniku all-you-can-eat place next door, so maybe it's less crowded here? At first, the meat service was slow, but after the second round, it came quickly. One time, a really porky-smelling piece came, but other than that, it was fine! The waffles were surprisingly delicious. The vegetables were mainly white leeks, crunchy and tasty. Somehow, the kids gave up quickly (laughs). I think I ate the most. Thanks to my friend who brought me here, I became a big fan of Shabuya. Today, I walked for almost 2 hours to get here as our walking destination. I ordered the beef 2 kinds & three prime pork (1,699 yen excluding tax) + (100 yen extra on weekends and holidays). I'm happy because there are plenty of vegetables. The shabu-shabu with lettuce is especially delicious! They also have soft serve ice cream waffles, so I ended up getting 4-5 refills. On weekends and holidays, there is a time limit of 80 minutes. On weekdays, it's unlimited time, so for lunch, you can enjoy all-you-can-eat for up to 5 hours from 11:00 to 16:00. Thank you for the meal! (^-^)

I went there for the first time. It was a shabu-shabu all-you-can-eat restaurant that I wanted to try after seeing it featured on a TV show. I chose the course where I could eat Iberico pork and beef. There were various types of all-you-can-eat courses with different kinds of meat. After placing my order and going to get some vegetables, I saw a staff member in casual clothes coming out from the employee entrance carrying plates. They said, "These are going to be discarded today," while mixing in with the customers and getting vegetables. They said a few other things as well, and honestly, I didn't want to hear it. It seems like the staff need better training. The shabu-shabu meat was decent. There were only three groups of customers and staff eating their meals in the restaurant. When ordering meat using the tablet, it would either arrive quickly or take more than 10 minutes. For an all-you-can-eat place, waiting more than 10 minutes is not ideal. A staff member wearing a chin mask explained various things, but it's not common to wear a chin mask nowadays, and it didn't make sense to place the tablet used for ordering on the shabu-shabu pot that we were about to eat from.

In addition to shabu-shabu meat, everything else is in buffet style, with a variety of vegetables, salads, rice dishes, curry, waffles, soft serve ice cream, and other items that children will enjoy. It's easy to see why this place is popular. The atmosphere is welcoming for families with children. ( ^ω^ )

It opened on June 6th, closer to Hiraoka than I expected. I had been looking forward to it, but I wasn't very hungry because I had eaten 44 plates of meat last time. I arrived around 11 am on a rainy day over the weekend, and I was second in line. As usual, I ordered the cheap three-layer pork course for 1403 yen each, a women's all-you-can-drink option for 1296 yen, and a drink bar for 108 yen (using a coupon). I chose beef tail broth. The food was the same as usual, with vegetables and meat. I made waffles twice for my husband. There weren't many people, but there were a few times when the staff didn't come even after pressing the button multiple times. The weekend lunch is 80 minutes, but with the all-you-can-drink option, it's 100 minutes. When I said I didn't want to order anything else, I was quickly asked to pay the bill. I was told the last order was 10 minutes before closing... I was still drinking beer and had meat left in the plate when I was practically kicked out and had to leave. This time, I had around 30 plates and with an 8% discount, the total bill was 3874 yen.

You can choose two types of broth for the meat, but it can get a bit heavy halfway through, so I can't eat a lot, maybe three plates are enough (lol). I'm happy that I can eat lots of my favorite vegetables, there's also a salad, vegetables for shabu-shabu, wakame rice, chirashi sushi, soft serve ice cream, waffles, and other desserts. It's enjoyable to have shabu-shabu. And most importantly, it's reasonably priced. It's a place I feel like coming back to occasionally. I'll be back. Thank you for the meal.
