Recently, lunchtime at this place is crowded, so I aimed for the pole position right after opening and visited. I ordered the "weekly lunch" dish, "Pork shoulder loin meat stir-fried with oyster sauce." Here, with the lunch menu, you can get extra rice, which is great when you want to eat a lot. Simply put, it's like sweet and sour pork seasoned with oyster sauce instead of vinegar. Of course, it has a hint of oyster flavor, so it's delicious. Oh, you can get takeout right away at the register? Oh, then I'll buy that. Oh? They have "fresh pickled zasai" here. This is the zasai I like. Then I'll also buy this and the "smooth almond tofu." Oh, I see, you shifted the business hours to prioritize family time since you have one more family member now. Yes, reducing missed opportunities is a great effort. I definitely support this kind of flexibility. Hey, how about trying the lunch menu at Chyna next time? Chyna is also cozy.

Even in summer, it was difficult to go because of the limited parking, but it was even more challenging in winter. Luckily, I found an open spot and was able to visit. The lunch set was a great deal. I was happy to be able to choose between rice or soup with the ankake yakisoba set. The amount of ankake yakisoba was just right, so the soup was a perfect addition. I enjoyed how the noodles were stir-fried well without feeling too greasy. The sauce was not too thick, and I was able to finish it all. The almond jelly dessert was delicious! I would come back just for the dessert!

After a long time, I revisited the restaurant. I had passed by the front of the shop several times, but the parking lot was full or the timing was off, so I couldn't revisit. Today, the parking lot was just right for one car, and the time was perfect at 12:30. I ordered the spicy five-mix rice with thickened sauce. It arrived in about 8 minutes. It was a salty-based, spicy thickened sauce, perfect for warming up in the winter. It was delicious. Handai-ku surprisingly has many Chinese restaurants, but all of them have high quality, and I think this shop is also quite good.

I finally got to visit a restaurant that I had been curious about for a while today. I had tried to go twice before, but for some reason it was closed... Today, I arrived at the restaurant a little after 1 pm. The parking lot was full... Inside, there were only 3 other groups of customers and all the seats at the counter were empty. I chose the "Gomoku Ankake Lunch" with extra rice from the lunch menu. It cost \950 including tax. I was considering getting the yakisoba, but... it was ready in about 10 minutes. The extra rice really added to the volume. And on a cold day like today, ankake is the best choice. (It's still cold today.) As I started eating, I deliberately checked the rice underneath, and it was surprisingly delicious. The texture and flavor were just right. The sauce on top was also tasty. It was a perfect balance of flavors... Even with the extra rice, there was no shortage of sauce. It was a bit hot, but I quickly ate it with a spoon... Maybe because it was past 1 pm and I was really hungry, I finished it in about 10 minutes. Thanks to that, my body warmed up, and even when I went back out into the cold, I didn't feel it... I was able to continue my shopping at a nearby discount store.

Lately, people have been calling me "a well-rounded chubby with a sharp tang!" I've been frequenting the areas of Nishi-ku and Teine-ku, so I've been popping up in SR-san's territory quite often. SR-san knows a lot of delicious places. That's me, "Chīna" ♬ Chīna, why are you so... ♬ I forgot the lyrics ´д` ;. ★ Black Vinegar Sweet and Sour Pork Set Lunch: A dish that doesn't betray the love for sweet and sour pork. The rice portion might be a bit too much for some, with a slightly strong saltiness, but younger folks might appreciate the generous rice portion ( ˘ω ˘ *). I want to try all four set lunches with the deliciousness that makes me want to come back for more. What should I try next? When can I come again...? Thank you for the meal.

Char siu fried rice for 990 yen. Delicious! The garlic flavor is strong but not overpowering. The rice is on the moist side rather than dry. Perfectly fried rice. Surprisingly not many people during lunchtime, maybe it's a hidden gem. I want to try other menu items too.

Sapporo City, Teine Ward. This restaurant near the cash wholesale store (supermarket) offers hearty and filling meals. You are sure to leave satisfied! The rice and pickled vegetables are delicious, and it's a nice touch that dessert is included. One Sunday during lunchtime, I was looking for a place that offers lunch menus on weekends and holidays, and I stumbled upon Chiena. The restaurant opened at 11:00, and when I arrived at 11:10, there was only one other customer. The interior was clean and welcoming, not your typical Chinese restaurant vibe. I ordered the Ankake Lunch (yakisoba) for 880 yen, and my companion ordered the Ankake Lunch (ramen) for the same price. The lunch sets also include mapo tofu, shrimp and egg in chili sauce, sweet and sour pork, black vinegar pork, and fried chicken, all priced at 980 yen each. The food was served in about 10 minutes, and the portions were huge. The salad was fresh and the dressing was tasty. The pickled vegetables were also good. The rice was excellent, cooked just right. The yakisoba was flavorful and the noodles had a unique chewy texture. It was packed with ingredients, including plenty of clams. The dessert, almond jelly, was also delicious. The total bill came to 1,760 yen for two people. The value for money was impressive, and the option for a stamp card was a nice surprise. I would love to try the 980 yen lunch set next time!

During lunchtime, I had the weekly special lunch set (spicy five-flavor sauce over rice) for ¥850. I arrived around 13:20 on a weekday. There were 2 groups of customers before me and 1 person after me. The lunch was delicious with clams in the sauce, which was not too spicy. Even with a smaller portion of rice, I was satisfied. Thank you for the meal, I will walk home.

Shrimp Ankake Rice for 990 yen in March 2022. This restaurant is spacious and relaxing with cute pandas. I had a work lunch here between Teine and Inazumi Park. The lunch set is a good deal, but it was too much for me as a light eater. The salt ankake rice was delicious, with a generous amount of shrimp. I also ordered half the rice portion, which was still satisfying. The ankake sauce was gentle and elegant, and the vegetables had a perfect crunch. Overall, it was a delightful meal.

This is the ideal neighborhood Chinese restaurant that I wish was nearby. The menu is diverse, and the flavors are suited to Japanese taste preferences. It is a top-class neighborhood Chinese restaurant where you can easily enjoy a meal. This time, I tried the crab omelette and ham sui kow.

Today, I visited the Chinese restaurant Chinasan near Inatsuki Park for lunch. It had been a while since I had Chinese food for lunch. The lunch menu offers a choice of three dishes. Today, I ordered the Ankake Yakisoba lunch set from the five-ingredient Ankake menu. I also felt like having some dumplings, so I added an order of those. The restaurant has counter seats for 4 people at the entrance, a raised seating area for 6 people, and three tables for 4 people each. I arrived shortly after the opening, so it was very quiet at this time. About 5 minutes after ordering, the five-ingredient Ankake set arrived first! It was visually appealing with plenty of vegetables. As expected from an Ankake lunch, the amount of noodles in the Yakisoba was small, making it perfect for vegetable lovers. The sauce was rich and flavorful, not too thick or too thin, with just the right amount of oil, giving it a refined deliciousness. With a generous amount of sauce, the vegetables and noodles were incredibly tasty when mixed with the sauce. Shortly after, the dumplings arrived. They seemed a bit small, but biting into them released a delicious meat juice, making them juicy like xiaolongbao. These dumplings are delicious! They should consider offering a dumpling set... The homemade almond jelly dessert at the end was also very rich and delicious! Thank you for the meal.

I visited around 1 pm on a regular day. I originally came for a different restaurant in Teine Maeda, but it was closed. Then I saw the sign for this place and decided to give it a try, and it was the right choice. I was unsure of what to order, but I ended up choosing my favorite dish, Tianjin rice. The sauce was not too sweet, with a soy sauce flavor that wasn't overpowering. The eggs were fluffy and delicious. I found a great restaurant. Next time, I'll try the sweet and sour pork set meal.

I was lured in by the panda sign and decided to try it out. It was the weekend but they had a lunch menu available. The place was almost full but I was seated without having to wait. I heard them telling other customers that it would take some time for the food to be ready. I ordered two lunch sets and a side of spring rolls. The spring rolls had a crispy and crunchy skin, although the filling was a bit sparse. The lunch sets came with a generous portion of rice in a bowl. I was worried if I could finish it all, but the flavorful dishes made it easy to eat everything. Personally, I wish there were more cabbage in the sweet and sour pork, as I love cabbage. The stir-fried pork and wood ear mushrooms had a variety of ingredients and flavors which made it delicious till the end. The almond jelly dessert was smooth and tasty, and I would love to have it in a bigger portion next time. I would definitely like to visit again.

This year's Golden Week is also boring due to the mood of self-restraint. I stopped by on my way back from shopping. Managed to slide into the third parking spot! There are only two groups inside the restaurant. I'm happy that they have lunch menus even on holidays. I chose the Ankake Yakisoba lunch, which comes with rice or soup. I opted for the soup. The portion was just right, but those who can eat a lot might want to add some gyoza. The Ebi Chili has a strong flavor, so rice is a must! I ordered a smaller portion and it was a bit disappointing. It would be even better if there were more variations in the lunch menu.

In Teine-ku, there is a Chinese restaurant that offers three lunch options: 1. Weekly special lunch (this time it was "white fish in chili sauce stew") for 850 yen 2. Five-item stir-fry lunch (stir-fried noodles, stir-fried rice, stir-fried ramen) for 880 yen 3. Set meal lunch (choose from 5 main dishes) for 980 yen I tried the set meal lunch and chose shrimp and egg in chili sauce and black vinegar sweet and sour pork as my mains. The main dishes were very generous in portion size. The set meal also came with rice, soup, salad, pickles, and almond jelly. Takeout is also available.

I've been curious about "Chinese Cuisine China" for a while, so I decided to have lunch there. I ordered the Five-Ingredient Ankake Lunch (Yakisoba) for 880 yen from the lunch menu. I was also considering the set meal (Mapo Tofu), but I ended up choosing the Yakisoba because of the 100 yen price difference (lol). It was ready in about 10 minutes. Let's dig in! The presentation looks quite luxurious with Yakisoba, rice, pickles, salad, and dessert. The mustard on the side adds a nice touch (lol). The Yakisoba was full of sauce and plenty of ingredients, but not too many noodles. The noodles were nicely cooked with a slightly strong salty taste. The almond jelly dessert was great, with a nice sticky texture. I'm full after finishing the small rice. Thank you for the delicious meal. Next time, I'll try the set meal lunch! I'll definitely visit again.

In October 2020, I visited a good-quality Chinese restaurant in the Nishi Ward for the first time, which left a good impression. There are also many promising restaurants in the Teine Ward. The second-generation owner of a restaurant I wanted to visit changed their focus to serving large portions, so I decided to visit this restaurant first. It is located in a residential area, making it hard to find without navigation. I ordered the "Cha-shu Fried Rice" for 900 yen. The fried rice was more on the dry side rather than moist, but still well-made with a good balance of flavors. The soup served with it was delicious egg drop soup. It felt more like a Chinese cuisine fried rice rather than a typical local Chinese restaurant dish. I wished it came with some pickled vegetables. My companion chose the "Gomoku Ankake Lunch" for 880 yen, which was satisfying with large ingredients and well-cooked noodles. However, the sauce got a bit watery towards the end. The side salad and mountain jellyfish were nice additions, but I missed having pickled vegetables. The almond jelly dessert was a non-gelatinous type that we both enjoyed. This restaurant offers high-quality Chinese dishes beyond the usual local Chinese fare. I appreciate both casual local Chinese food and more refined Chinese cuisine. In Sapporo, it seems that the Chinese restaurants are currently more skewed towards the higher end rather than the casual options.

In September in Sapporo, I visited a Chinese restaurant in the BM area for the first time. It is called Chīnā in Sapporo area. Due to COVID-19 measures, they were operating with shortened hours. It was lunch time and the last order was at 2 pm. When we arrived right before 2 pm, the place was quite busy with tables still having dirty dishes and the staff struggling to keep up. The restaurant was run by a man and a woman, with the man in the kitchen and the woman handling the service, although she seemed a bit flustered. We decided to order individual dishes instead of the lunch set. We ordered Mapo Tofu for 900 yen, Five Ingredient Ankake Yakisoba for 900 yen, and Hot and Sour Noodles for 800 yen. The Mapo Tofu had a mild spicy flavor with a hint of sweetness, the Ankake Yakisoba was generous with the sauce and had a slightly sweet taste, and the Hot and Sour Noodles had a unique balance of spiciness and sourness. Overall, the dishes were satisfying and we enjoyed the flavors. Despite the slightly chaotic atmosphere due to the busy lunch hour, we appreciated the effort the staff put into serving us. We look forward to visiting again to try more dishes.

I had the weekly lunch special at a Chinese restaurant near Inazumi Park. I had the pork and bell pepper stir-fry for 850 yen. Although it may seem a bit pricey for a lunch in a residential area, it was definitely worth it. The restaurant is run by a husband and wife, and the wife who served us was very welcoming and kind. The egg drop soup was well-seasoned, unlike the typical bland soups at Chinese restaurants. The main dish of pork and bell pepper stir-fry was delicious, with crunchy vegetables and perfect cooking. The side dishes included salad and wood ear mushrooms, which was a unique addition. The rice portion was small, but you can get free refills. I didn't need a refill because I had a good breakfast, but it was a good balance with the main dish. The almond jelly dessert had a unique texture, like a mousse. Overall, it was a great meal and I will definitely visit again. Plus, I got a loyalty card.

On a regular lunch day, on the way to a business trip in the afternoon, I search for a lunch place. Following the recommendation of my companion, we head to this restaurant. We park the car in the front parking lot and enter the restaurant. The interior has 4 table seats in a raised area and 1 large table with 8 seats, with a total of 9 people including 4 groups of customers. Since it's our first visit, I ask the staff for their popular menu items, and they recommend the mapo tofu, sweet and sour pork, and five-ingredient stir-fried noodles. So, I order the mapo tofu set meal for 900 yen. It arrives in about 10 minutes, consisting of mapo tofu, egg soup, salad, pickles, rice, and almond jelly for dessert. The mapo tofu has a strong umami flavor, with a sweet bean paste base that is slightly sweet, followed by a spicy kick, and a subtle numbing sensation from the Sichuan peppercorns. It goes really well with the rice. The portion size of both the mapo tofu and rice is generous, so I am satisfied. Surprisingly, the almond jelly dessert was delicious too. It's a restaurant that I would be happy to have in the neighborhood. Thank you for the meal!

On weekdays around 1:00 PM, I entered the restaurant with no other customers. The customer who came after me was a man having a set lunch with shrimp and egg in chili sauce, xiaolongbao, and beer for takeout. I had the takeout of mixed vegetable stir-fried noodles. For weekend lunch, I always feel like drinking! After changing my tires and having a 6-month inspection, I left my car at home and walked to the restaurant. It took about 20 minutes, but I didn't mind as it was a perfect day for a walk. Based on reviews, I heard that the pickled mustard greens and almond jelly were delicious, so I ordered the lunch set but canceled the rice to have beer instead. However, I couldn't resist ordering xiaolongbao. The moment the soup overflowed as I took a bite, I felt pure happiness. It's been a while since I had shrimp chili, and the shrimp was deliciously plump. The spiciness was just right. The almond jelly was rich and creamy. I also got the mixed vegetable stir-fried noodles for my parents in their 80s as takeout. They separately packed the sauce and noodles, which was a nice touch. I thought I would save some for later, but I ended up finishing it all. I was pleasantly surprised. Thank you for the wonderful meal.
