2023/8/13 First Visit "82nd Cup in 2023" Today, there was a performance by Midori Panda at the Sapporo Railway Village, so I decided to accompany my wife, Hanachan, which is quite rare. Hanachan and the Railway Village have a bit of a history together, haha. This time, we managed to finish the performance without even getting out of the car. Now, it was time for lunch. I thought, why not try the Sari Sari Shokudo, which I haven't been to since it reopened! So, off we went, but when I saw a line of more than 10 people in front of the store, I immediately gave up (^^;) I didn't feel like waiting in this scorching heat just to eat. In the end, we decided to go back, but where to? Ah, I remember reading on Tabelog that the food court at Mitsuke Sapporo had been renovated recently. Since we were already out, we decided to give it a try! We arrived at the food court in Mitsuke just after noon. The previous food court had multiple stores, but now it seemed like everything was concentrated into one place. The menu was diverse, with ramen, pasta, rice bowls, and more. There were about 3 groups waiting to order, so we were able to place our order quickly. I ordered the ramen set with 2 pieces of fried chicken and rice (normally 950 yen, but on sale for 100 yen off at 850 yen), while my wife ordered the ramen set (ramen and mini curry) for 950 yen. The staff emphasized that it might take some time because it was busy, but we had no other plans, so we agreed. We found a table and waited. This food court is quite noisy because it is connected to a game corner without any partitions. Well, we had to bear with it and wait. The buzzer finally rang after about 20 minutes of placing our order. The food was brought to our table. Let's dig in! By the way, I had soy sauce ramen, and my wife had salt ramen. But... it looked pretty sketchy from the start (^^;) Let's start with the noodles. I took a sip of the soup. Lukewarm... The taste was like store-bought sauce, nothing special. I kind of expected it though. The noodles... just by looking at them, you could tell they were in bad shape. But I took a bite. First of all, the noodles were not separated properly, clumped together. And they were lukewarm. The noodles seemed to be steamed, not fresh. The texture was awful, all dry and rough. Wait a minute, I've never seen noodles this bad even at a food court (^^;) The chashu was dry, with no redeeming qualities. There was nothing good about it. Honestly, I lost the will to continue eating. So, I thought, let's try the fried chicken and rice. But again, just by looking at it, you could tell the condition of the food. I bravely took a bite of the clearly frozen fried chicken. Cold... They didn't even bother to microwave it. The rice was cold, clearly long-kept warm. I couldn't eat this. The food was so bad that my wife gave up, and I tried to finish the curry for her. Well, it was curry made with this rice, so it was understandable. I took a bite. The curry had no ingredients, just a bad-tasting sauce. And with this rice, it was just too much to handle. My wife couldn't eat the noodles at all and retired. I also left all the soup from the ramen, but I managed to finish it. I couldn't bring myself to eat the rice dishes. My wife said, "This is also a learning experience," trying to stay positive, and I had to agree. But the reality was harsh, and I couldn't even finish the rice dishes. When we returned the uneaten food to the return counter, there were almost untouched dishes like yakisoba left there (^^;) There were many other uneaten dishes as well. I was relieved to confirm that our taste buds are not too far off from the general public. For those who have read this far, some may have become interested, but be prepared for a hefty price to pay. I won't say it's bad. Please choose another option. Only those willing to throw away money should visit. My wife and I definitely won't eat here again. We will definitely retreat once more. It was quite an experience. Good job... ===========

Ion Mitsukasa's Ramen Street has closed all its stores, leaving a sense of despair. The food court menu panels now cover the area, giving off an unsettling vibe. I decided to try the discounted okonomiyaki skewers. It was clearly frozen, as expected in a food court. The food was okonomiyaki pieces fried on a skewer. However, it mostly tasted like flour with a hint of cabbage. It fell apart easily and ended up eating with chopsticks, but it was small and left me unsatisfied. If it was priced at the normal rate of 350 yen, I would never eat it again. It seems other menu items are not promising either. One of our staff members even lost 3 kilograms since the ramen shop closed (laughs). It's truly disappointing as the ramen shop was surprisingly good.

I visited the food court that opened in the Aeon Supercenter Mikasa store on December 27th last year. I ordered half-priced fried potatoes with spicy curry. The fried potatoes are cooked after ordering, but the curry, which I thought was a unique taste, might have been different if I had gone earlier, as it was close to closing time. Next time, I will try noodles instead of rice. It was a great dining experience. Thank you.
