The service was a bit slow due to being short-staffed, but it was understandable. There were only two other groups of customers, so we were able to relax and enjoy our drinks. I have visited this restaurant twice before and I really like the Hokkaido-style dishes they offer. I met up with my wife for another visit and we both enjoyed the variety of seafood dishes and other classic izakaya menu items. As a smoker, I appreciate that they still allow smoking inside. The freshness of the seafood was excellent and the relaxed atmosphere was also very pleasant. Thank you for the meal. We will definitely come back again.

A pub located in the basement of a building at South 1 West 5. They offer a great deal of 120-minute all-you-can-drink for 1,400 yen for men and 1,100 yen for women from 1 pm to 4 pm. I visited around 2 pm after shopping near Odori Station. The staff recommended the all-you-can-drink deal, but I opted for a single drink, a Sapporo Classic (medium) for 580 yen. The appetizers included tamagoyaki, edamame, and simmered hijiki, which were delicious. I wanted to try the sashimi, but the prices were not clearly displayed, so I settled for the tuna sashimi, which had a nice texture. The drink was a highball with shochu and lemon, and I also tried the shrimp and lotus root tempura, which was tasty. The pub has delicious appetizers, but the prices could be more reasonable and not limited to ordering in pairs.

I visited the restaurant without a reservation at 6 o'clock on a regular day. I managed to secure the last seat available. The interior of the restaurant, including private rooms, was spacious and comfortable, making it easy to relax without being bothered by others. I ordered a set of three types of Japanese sake, which was quite cost-effective! And when it comes to Japanese sake, you can't forget about oysters. The oysters were incredibly delicious, and I ended up ordering more until they were all gone! I also tried grated mountain wasabi, which was extremely spicy, but it made the alcohol go down smoothly! It felt like discovering a hidden gem of a restaurant. I will definitely come back again! ♡

Day drinking is the best! Starting alcohol service from 1 pm, we had a great time with the Happy Set for 3,000 yen (all-you-can-drink beer included + choose two dishes for two people). The fried crab claws were crispy and delicious. The drinks were also tasty, especially the lemon sour made by the bartender was exceptional! We also ordered additional dishes like raw horse mackerel sashimi and pizza, but we didn't exceed 5,000 yen per person, so it was a satisfying afternoon. We will visit again at night!

Year-end party! ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و Went for some day drinking~♪ This was our third stop! I had been here once before and had a good impression of being able to drink during the day! The all-you-can-drink option was two items per person, and we ordered a total of four items. I tried the crab sashimi for the first time, and it was quite delicious with a lot of meat in it! I don't usually eat crab, but it's tasty when I have it occasionally, and it was already peeled too! The Sakiika tempura was a great snack! I liked the sweet batter. The deep-fried sandwich was also delicious. The fourth item was thick noodle yakisoba. For some reason, yakisoba at izakayas always tastes good! The all-you-can-drink deal with beer included was quite affordable, and they had two types of beer to choose from - Super Dry and Classic. I wanted to go to another place after this, but was told, "Next year!" So, it's something to look forward to next year~ It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

A suitable start with Japanese cuisine appetizers. The bluefin tuna was also ordered, and it was delicious. The red meat from a good place. The deep-fried sandwich had more volume than expected. It was tasty but too much for one person. Wanted to order ponzu sauce, but was already full ^^; This place is suitable for a casual drink with Japanese food. It was a bit cold, so left early. It was delicious - thank you for the meal!

Daitsu Station, a 5-minute walk from the building's underground, with stairs outside or an elevator inside, either way. On this day, I took my daughter for a daytime drink! We found it hard to find a place with a small raised seating area where my daughter could relax and enjoy a cheap daytime drink (˘･_･˘). The condition for all-you-can-drink was to order at least 2 items priced at 400 yen or more each. I didn't take pictures of the menu in a rush, but there were quite a few items priced below 400 yen, making it difficult to choose food. However, my daughter ate an onigiri, which also counted as 1 item! Before I knew it, there was no time to take photos as I struggled to take care of my daughter, who was scattering rice grains everywhere. She fell asleep halfway through, allowing me to have a leisurely conversation with my friends, but 2 hours flew by in no time (・–・;)ゞ Overall, everything was delicious, but my memory of the food is a bit fuzzy due to the hustle and bustle (˘･_･˘). *I didn't drink too much, though. I would like to use this place again for daytime drinks as they were very accommodating to families with children.

Hidden gem in Sapporo, Hokkaido, around a 5-minute walk from Odori Park. We visited with 4 people for a business dinner. This place is not frequented by tourists. We enjoyed a toast with highballs and came specifically for the crab Daruma, but unfortunately, they only had 2 servings available so we split one. The sashimi platter was delicious and they served it individually for COVID-19 precautions. Surprisingly, they also had Gifu's famous Meihou ham, which we tried for the first time and found it to be tasty. The freshly grated mountain wasabi was a nice touch. We also want to try their thick noodle yakisoba and Napolitan spaghetti next time. The minke whale ginger stir-fry also caught our interest.

There are very few clever restaurants where you can have a daytime drink, but this one meets the criteria: - They offer all-you-can-drink - They have a good selection of small dishes - The atmosphere is calm and relaxing I tried their specialty dishes, "kani maru" and "retchiri", both of which were served in individual portions. This made the presentation lack visual impact, but the taste was great. Thank you for the delicious meal!

On my day off, I went to Yuzen for the second time alone (I had a good impression when I went with my wife last year). This time, I used a coupon for a 120-minute all-you-can-drink menu and just drank draft beer. For appetizers, I had octopus head sashimi (one of my favorites), homemade sweet potato tempura (which I had last time and was delicious), and half portion of Tebasaki Ichiro (always a good choice!). I thoroughly enjoyed drinking alone at Yuzen.

I went with a friend. The box seats had acrylic boards and disinfectant sprays. There was one staff in the kitchen and one in the hall. The place was not crowded, which was lucky for us as we could enjoy our meal without worrying about the surroundings. It might be a hidden gem. My friend and I don't eat much, so we reserved Happy Set Part 2. Part 2 included all-you-can-drink draft beer. The appetizers were egg omelet, edamame, and sweet potato tempura. We chose two dishes per person: spinach and bacon salad, spinach and shimeji mushroom omelet, cream cheese with scallions and bonito flakes in special soy sauce, and homemade Japanese-style pizza. When lined up, it was quite a lot ^_^ The spinach in the salad looked like shredded perilla leaves, but it was actually sweet spinach. It was strange but delicious. The cream cheese side dish with bonito flakes had a nice flavor. The snacks, maybe the owner's preference, were all slightly sweet in flavor, but it was perfect for nibbling while drinking. It was a nice experience٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

All seats are filled with customers enjoying themselves. The polite waitstaff and the friendly owner occasionally visit each table, adding to the cozy atmosphere. For lunch, they offer reasonably priced set meals. After 1 pm, it's time for some daytime drinking! They have great value sets and drink options that are very affordable. The "Drink Set + A la carte" option allows each person to choose two items. Today, I went for the "Super Nigari" because they were tapping a new barrel, and it turned out to be quite good (= ´∀´)ﾉ凵゛. Normally, you can also choose "Classic" options. The "Lemon Sour" was a bit flat, so it might not have been from the barrel... I ended up enjoying a "Whiskey on the Rocks" for a while (= ´∀´)ﾉ凵゛. To start off, I ordered three dishes: "Kinpira Gobo (Braised Burdock Roots)," "Dashimaki (Japanese Rolled Omelette)," and "Fuki no Ohitashi (Boiled Butterbur Sprouts)." Each dish had a rich flavor that didn't need any soy sauce. The owner recommended eating the butterbur sprouts as they are, and they were delicious. The dishes were served in small portions, which was a thoughtful touch. The "Squid Tempura" was a classic choice for drinking. The "Miso Hormone Teppanyaki" had a chewy texture with the richness and flavor of miso sauce, making it a perfect accompaniment for drinks. The "Mozzarella Cheese wrapped in Yuba (Tofu Skin) and Baked" had a gooey cheese filling that was delightful. The sauce drizzled on top added to the deliciousness. The "Nostalgic Napolitan (Spaghetti)" brought back memories, while the "Thick Yakisoba (Fried Noodles)" with plenty of ketchup was a satisfying dish. This place is loved by regular customers and daytime drinkers, and I can see why. I'll definitely come back for lunch again.

We had the following dishes: crab maru (lots of snow crab meat and delicious), pickles (half portion, comforting taste), homemade satsuma-age (unique texture and delicious), original Tebasaki Ichiro (half portion, definitely want to eat this again!), tsukune with egg (classic flavor), and thick noodle yakisoba (love the thick noodles and perfect seasoning). My wife switched to hot tea and had live shellfish sashimi (fresh and crunchy), shrimp and lotus root tempura (classic taste), and homemade fried sweet potato mochi (the best sweet potato mochi I've ever had). It was our first visit, but the food was delicious and the service was great, so it became our favorite restaurant! (I recommend this restaurant to tourists from outside the area)

There is a DoCoMo shop in a building along the train street, and they have lunch available from 12pm. It's calm and perfect for day drinking starting from 1pm! They guide you to a small private room with an acrylic board in the middle of the table, which gives a slightly strange feeling. They offer a Hottope coupon where you can enjoy 120 minutes of all-you-can-drink for 980 yen if you enter by 4pm (last order 20 minutes before closing, minimum of 2 food items per person, appetizer not included). You can choose between Super Dry beer and Classic beer, and everyone has to choose the same. We chose Classic. The appetizer costs 400 yen and includes vinegar miso-flavored beans, edamame, and rolled omelette. The half portion of spicy red chicken wings costs 450 yen and they are very tender and easy to eat without getting your hands dirty. The octopus vinegar dish costs 400 yen and includes 4 soft octopus heads. The mozzarella cheese wrapped in yuba costs 280 yen and the cheese stretches when you eat it. The moon-viewing meatball costs 250 yen and is a safe choice with chewy cartilage, light sauce, and egg yolk. The bacon and spinach salad costs 550 yen and includes finely chopped spinach, which is a unique touch. The total bill was around 2300 yen per person, with a minimum food requirement, but it's affordable and you can drink plenty without spending too much. Thank you for the meal!

I had a hamburger before, so I'm having trouble deciding on my next dish. The appetizers included edamame, some kind of egg dish, and octopus with vinegar miso. The octopus was delicious. I ordered tsukune and mozzarella cheese wrapped in yuba as one item. The tsukune had a tasty sauce. The mozzarella cheese wrapped in yuba was amazing! The octopus vinegar dish was refreshing and perfect with beer. The spicy half order of red chicken wings was incredibly tender and easy to eat with chopsticks. It could have been spicier though. The spinach salad was a safe bet and had a surprising visual appearance. All the dishes were delicious. I had quite a few drinks. The service was good, and I hope they continue to do well in the future!

It's that time of year again for Pacific saury and fresh squid! I always go to this izakaya that I've been a regular at for 16 years. They have delicious Pacific saury and live squid - you have to make a reservation in advance though. I love their freezing highballs and sake. They source their sake from a sake brewery in Tohoku that I recommended, so they have brands like Tanrei Junmai and Toyobai at reasonable prices. If you love sake and tasty snacks, I highly recommend this place. They were so generous with their service - thank you for the sake and shochu! I got super drunk for the first time in a while, haha.

After drinking a lot at a beer garden, my friend told me about a great restaurant. The seafood dishes were all fresh and delicious. The rice cakes were not round-shaped (lol)! I don't have a photo, but the ramen was also tasty with flavorful broth. We also tried the Daiginjo sake, which was sweet and easy to drink. The owner's personality was quite entertaining (lol) and very kind. I definitely want to visit again for more delicious food and drinks.
