I visited a hidden grilled meat (yakiniku) restaurant that recently started serving lunch. **Note:** The prices on the menu are displayed without tax included. **Ordering and Payment Process:** You sit down, look through the menu, and then place your order. Payment is made after the meal. **Seating:** I had heard this was a standing grilled meat restaurant, but for lunch, I was seated at a counter table. **Menu:** The only ramen available is tail ramen. Besides that, there are grilled meat options, and you can enjoy alcohol even during the day. **What I Ordered and My Impressions:** I had the Tail Ramen for 990 yen, and added a set for 330 yen which included rice, soup, salad, and a small side dish (the small side dish wasn’t photographed; it seems it was forgotten). The order arrived in this sequence: salad, soup, ramen, and rice. The large piece of tail meat in the center was incredibly flavorful and so tender as it had been simmered perfectly. The broth was full of the beef's richness and was outstandingly delicious. The noodles were thin and straight, making it easy to enjoy as they soaked up the broth well, providing a great texture as you eat. The rice that came with the meal was tasty on its own, but pouring the tail soup over it made it even more delicious—an irresistible combination. I’d love to try their grilled meat offerings next time!

I heard that a new yakiniku (grilled meat) restaurant has opened in Pontocho. Yakiniku in Kyoto? And you eat while standing up? I was skeptical, but since it’s a new place and sounded interesting, my friends took me there (⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛⁎)♪♣︎ Here’s what we ordered: ♣︎ *Kimchi tofu* *Dried squid kimchi* *Nanana salad* *Pork trotters* *Nanana special mix (premium tongue, premium harami, two pieces of chateaubriand)* *Nanana beef mix (upper loin, upper kalbi, misuji)* *Nanana harami* *Nanana hormone 100 (with grilled vegetables)* *White rice* *Draft beer* *Highball - lemon* I discovered the lovely chateaubriand! ★ It’s more economical to order the special mix of tongue and harami rather than individual items. And there’s a salad mountain that’s a delight for women✩.*˚ I enjoyed it piled high with the meat. The menu has plenty of options beyond just meat! I thought I would just grab a quick bite, but everything was so delicious that I ended up ordering quite a lot⁺o(⁎˃ᴗ˂⁎)o⁺‧ The cost performance is excellent! The interior has a retro Showa vibe, and it’s very stylish. Being a new restaurant, everything is shiny and new*+:•*”:♡.•♬✧ I think solo yakiniku would also be nice – you can enjoy whatever you like in your own space♡ Beautiful interior and delicious grilled meat.
