My aunt had discovered a izakaya near our house and had been wanting to go for a while, so we finally went there. I called ahead before arriving, but when we got there, they had already set out some appetizers for us. It had been a busy time in Sapporo, and I had been surviving on convenience store onigiri, so this was my first proper meal in a few days. I devoured the food in no time! - Appetizer: 450 yen - Mini sashimi platter (5 types): 1,300 yen (tuna, white fish, sweet shrimp, octopus head, cured mackerel, scallop - actually 6 types, what a deal!) - Uni (sea urchin): 1,500 yen - Arajiru (fish head miso soup): not sure about the price - Deep-fried dashi tofu: not sure about the price - Smelt fry: 500 yen The white fish and cured mackerel from the sashimi platter were really delicious. The arajiru was a clear, elegant soup with a strong dashi flavor. It was quite filling on its own. The smelt fry was juicy and had a crispy texture, different from grilled fish. It was a homely, Hokkaido-style meal that left me feeling warm and satisfied.

Here is a unique dining establishment that you wouldn't expect to find in the location of an izakaya. Located in a residential area with only detached houses, it is tucked away about 300m from the JR Hakodate Main Line. The exterior exudes a calm atmosphere, sparking anticipation for what lies inside. [Today's Order Menu] - Appetizers (2 types) starting from 300 yen - Simmered octopus and homemade salted fish roe - Beef tripe stew (480 yen) - Assorted sashimi platter (1,000 yen) - Dried kelp fish (500 yen) - Chicken gizzard skewers - Moon-viewing meatballs - Oyster fry (750 yen) Overall, the dining experience was enjoyable, with a highlight being the delicious oyster fry. The chef's skill and dedication were evident in the dishes served. I look forward to returning to explore more of the menu and enjoy the hospitality of the staff at "Four Seasons Hospitality Kura." Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I found a restaurant located in a residential area and decided to give it a try, even though it was a bit hard to find. I wish I had come earlier because the atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. I was surprised by the amount of appetizers they served! On this day, I had about 5 appetizers for 350 yen (excluding tax). I heard that if you make a reservation, you can also enjoy a course meal. I definitely want to go back again.
