December 10th was my first visit to this bar, which I used for a second party after a banquet. There aren't many bars in Iwamizawa, so I was surprised to find this place. I was brought here while drunk, so I don't remember exactly where it is (laughs). When you go up the stairs, you enter a moody, dimly lit space. Apart from the counter, there were about 4-5 tables. I ordered a gin and tonic for 650 yen, which tasted pretty standard. My seat was particularly dark, so I apologize for the dark photo. I only ordered this drink. They served mixed nuts, crackers with cream cheese, and other snacks as a complimentary dish. Cocktails are all 650 yen, and they have a wide variety. The food menu also includes soup curry, which caught my interest. The service was standard, but they kindly told us the last train time towards Sapporo, which was at 23:05. Missing that train would have been a big problem. A taxi to Nopporo costs 8,000 yen! When I left the bar with my senior, we had no idea which way the station was. A passerby gentleman kindly directed us, and we made it to the last train on time (laughs). Going off track a bit, in Iwamizawa, there are very few places where you can drink decent cocktails, so I think this bar is a valuable find. I would like to visit again when drinking in Iwamizawa.
