I have visited this restaurant many times, so I thought I had already posted a review. They have a lot of private rooms, which I use for various occasions. I visited with my colleagues from work and we ordered a la carte. I didn't take photos of everything we ate, but here's what we had haha. We ordered without realizing that we got the smoked mackerel and smoked cheese platter. I love smoked foods, especially these two, so I always order them when they're available. I pretty much just drank while enjoying these haha. We also had steamed oysters, which I love because the flavor is more concentrated when steamed. The sausage platter goes well with beer, but I love sausages so I always order them regardless. This time I had them with a rock glass of sweet potato shochu haha. That's what I had, and we also had a sashimi platter and udon for dessert. It's a favorite spot of mine where you can enjoy delicious food and drinks in a calm atmosphere. Thank you for the meal! (^o^)

I visited today. The hotel was fully booked, the hotel restaurant was also full. The plane to New Chitose was almost full as well. Even though I came all the way to Aburiya, I didn't order the signature grilled dish (laughs). Maybe it was a mistake in ordering... Thank you for the meal.

I made a reservation for a 6,000 yen course. Since there were no other customers right after opening, the interior was very cold and I drank shivering. The tableware and presentation were very nice, but the sashimi was just average. The main dish was grilled pork loin. It was said that a thick roll would be served, but I ordered additional sea urchin and salmon roe sushi. I had high expectations, but honestly... the Christmas date was a bit disappointing. Looking forward to the next visit.

I visited with a business partner. The restaurant was full, but still thriving. There were a lot of salarymen. This seems to be due to the lifting of self-restraint measures. It took a while to order drinks. We had sashimi, fried chicken, liver skewers, chicken skewers, tempura, and rolled sushi. Thank you for the meal.

Aburiya Station South Exit Store @ Sapporo
So, it's the second day of exploring izakayas in Sapporo. First, we stopped by the convenience store right next to the hotel. Seicomart is a Hokkaido specialty convenience store, and they had a lot of unique products. Then, we all headed to the Sapporo station building. The restaurant we planned to visit was empty but fully booked, so we had to change our plans and went to a different restaurant. We ended up at a large restaurant on the 10th floor of the building called "Aburiya." We were the first customers, so we were able to get a table easily. We were guided to a table by the window, which had a great view of the night scenery. However, the appetizer was not good. It was served ice-cold from the fridge, and both the dish and its contents were freezing cold. Serving overpriced dishes that are not even appetizing is a bad tradition in Japan. We started with a draft beer, which was well-maintained and tasted great. I thought the chopstick rest was fancy, but it turned out to be a real dried fish. It was a nice touch. As more customers started coming in, our dishes arrived. First, we had a Caesar salad, which was beautifully arranged and looked very delicious. The decorative vegetables were elegant, and the dressing was good. The main dish was "Grilled Fresh Hokke," which was a huge Hokke fish typical of Hokkaido. It had a satisfying texture and was very delicious. We were all very pleased with it. Lastly, we had chicken meatballs. We dipped them in the egg yolk, and they were crunchy with a delicious flavor. The sauce was also good. We quickly finished our beer and switched to sake. We ordered a warm sake, and the waitress reminded us that it was meant for cold sake, but we still enjoyed it warm. The faint aroma of the sake was nice. The restaurant was quite spacious with various seating options. A Western couple with a small child was seated on a raised platform and looked happy. There were also counter seats like a hearth, providing a variety of dining experiences. The restaurant got busier as the night went on. We settled the bill after about an hour. We had a great time enjoying the night view. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a stylish izakaya around 5 pm on a Sunday. Since there weren't many customers at that time, I was able to sit down without a reservation. However, by 6 pm, customers started coming in one after another. The presentation of the dishes was stylish and the atmosphere of the restaurant was suitable for a nice business dinner. The chopstick rest was made of dried horse mackerel (?).

We went to a restaurant near Sapporo Station with three people for a casual meal. One of us really wanted to eat KinKi's simmered dish, so we decided to eat at a nearby izakaya. Some of us didn't want alcohol, so we just had oolong tea. The atmosphere was relaxed, with customers including business people, older tourists, and classy elderly couples. It's a nice place to eat calmly. We made a reservation, which was a good idea as it was busy. We sat at the counter and ordered KinKi's simmered dish, skewers, tuna sashimi, stingray fin, salad, tamagoyaki, octopus tempura, scallop grill, mackerel sushi roll, and more. The KinKi's simmered dish was flavorful and satisfying. After eating something rich, we craved carbs like sushi. We ended the meal with soft serve ice cream. The menu offered a wide range of dishes with a good balance of flavors. Even though we stayed for a while, not drinking alcohol kept the bill lower. Thank you for the meal!

I finished drinking with my dad and met up with a friend from a distant place in Hokkaido in Sapporo. We couldn't cancel the hotel near the station, so I let him have the rights to it and we decided to have dinner at a restaurant nearby. We chose Aburiya because it seemed to have a good atmosphere and decent quality for the price. I felt like there was a bit of a boom when Aburiya first opened. There are several branches in Sapporo, but this was my first time at this particular one. We took off our shoes and were seated at the counter. The seating arrangement was unique, with sunken kotatsu tables and slightly elevated tables. Inside the counter, there was a chef making sushi. Since we weren't tourists, we didn't order much seafood. We ordered a salad with plenty of crab, grilled lamb with bones, and smoked cheese. The salad had a lot of crab meat but also a mayo-like dressing, giving it a typical izakaya feel. The meat and appetizers were delicious as expected. The photo is of butter-sautéed shiitake mushrooms, which we specially requested instead of them being served on skewers. They were happy to accommodate such simple requests. As for the service, the staff sometimes went to the wrong table when called, and the chef seemed a bit absent-minded when greeting customers, but it was okay overall.

Zaiya-san.. There are 5 stores in the city, and there are also other restaurants like Kushi-ro and Kakurega in the same group. Today, I used it for a dinner meeting with clients from Honshu. This place is on the 10th floor of a building, so you can see a beautiful night view of the station from the large window. Since it was a dinner meeting, I only took a few photos. I took pictures of sashimi and crab. Crab is always appreciated by people from Honshu. As for the taste.. It's expensive but worth it, and there are no disappointments. Thank you for the delicious meal today!

Zaouya has five stores in Sapporo, and each one offers delicious food with great value for money! It's truly Hokkaido! The freshness of the seafood is outstanding! When sitting at the counter, you can see them preparing the squid and grilling the saury. It's tempting to try everything on the menu, so be careful not to overeat. ( *´艸`)⭐️ I'm on Instagram.【y.catherine.y】⭐️

When I travel, I always rely on the counter service by myself.

I couldn't take a picture because there was someone there. Overall, I felt the taste was bland. The atmosphere of the restaurant is good and it might be a nice place to take guests.

I was recommended to go to this restaurant by the hotel front desk. It looked expensive, but surprisingly felt quite affordable. The taste was excellent. I would love to go again.

I think there are many Zabutaya restaurants in the city, but I like the one near Sapporo Station because the interior is clean and has an adult atmosphere. The age group is higher, and there are no annoying customers like noisy young groups. Personally, I like the raised seating area in front of the counter.
