This time, I arrived just before the opening and had to wait a few minutes before entering. I sat at the counter with another customer and ordered the A set (ramen, gyoza, rice). I chose high-quality pickled vegetables with my rice, as always, and enjoyed the delicious ramen while occasionally taking a bite of gyoza. I had a reason to be near this place at the end of the year, and having this ramen made me feel like the end of the year had truly arrived. The ramen was as delicious as ever, a flavorful tonkotsu ramen. Even though I had gyoza and rice, I ordered an extra serving of noodles. This year, after adding the extra noodles, I added fried garlic to the soup, along with the usual sesame and pickled ginger, enhancing the richness of the tonkotsu soup. It was definitely the right choice! I finished the soup completely and left the restaurant, hoping to experience the same satisfaction next year at the end of the year. Thank you for the delicious tonkotsu ramen this year!

I first learned about the existence of "Nagahama Ramen Gonta" about 15 years ago on a certain ramen navigation site. It was introduced as a popular tonkotsu ramen shop in the south of Osaka, and as a tonkotsu ramen lover, I had been thinking of going there for a long time. Finally, on this day, I was able to visit. I arrived five minutes before the weekday opening time and joined the line with 5 people ahead of me. It seems to be quite popular. The shop opened right at 11:00, and since the counter was already full with 5 people, I was guided to a table seat. It feels a bit awkward to be seated alone at a table. I ordered the ramen with firm noodles. It was served in about 12 minutes after being seated. The soup was quite thick and cloudy, unlike the typical light ramen soup. However, the rich soup mixed well with the thin and firm noodles. Yes, this is delicious! Of course, I had to order an extra serving of noodles. The extra noodles were served quickly, along with pickled vegetables, and I eagerly devoured them until I finished everything in no time. It didn't disappoint the feelings I had been longing for over the past 15 years. It was a very delicious ramen. Since it's a region I rarely visit, I don't know when I'll be able to come back, but I definitely want to visit again. It was really delicious! Thank you for the meal.

I arrived around 11:20 and there were already 5 people waiting in line. The parking lot is difficult to find a spot, so be careful. Water is self-service. I ordered the lunch-only A set. It costs 850 yen and includes gyoza, ramen, and rice. Great value for money. The taste is also great, with a refined tonkotsu ramen and delicious chashu. Personally, I am very satisfied.

Finally, the timing worked out for me! I've been wanting to go to this restaurant for a while now, but the timing never seemed to be right - either it was too late at night, they ran out of soup, or they were busy giving rides to other customers. But today, while out on my usual walk, I managed to achieve my daily goal in a short amount of time, so I decided to treat myself by checking out this nearby restaurant. And to my delight, I was able to get a seat right away!
Lately, I've been starting to feel that autumn is approaching. The days are getting shorter, and I can sense the coolness in the air. Since I'm a night owl and can't handle the heat well, I absolutely love the long, cold nights of winter. So I'm hoping winter comes soon!
I ordered the set meal with gyoza and rice. You can order the set meal until 2:00 PM. I didn't opt for extra noodles this time, as I was saving room for the potential extra serving. The seasoned seaweed that comes with the meal is delicious.
The ramen here is tonkotsu-based, but it's not too overpowering. The straight noodles are easy to eat, and you could probably have as many bowls as you wanted. I started by eating it as served, and then added sesame, pickled mustard greens, and red pickled ginger when I got my extra noodles. I always finish the soup in one go - it's my routine.
Do you ever feel slightly regretful while eating tonkotsu ramen? I sometimes do, but not at this restaurant. I had a great meal once again today. I forgot to take a picture of the restaurant...
The Rugby World Cup is starting soon, following the basketball tournament. I hope they do well!

I entered the restaurant as soon as it opened. It quickly became full, as expected from a popular place. This time, I ordered the char siu ramen with rice. On the table, there were pickled ginger, spicy mustard greens, sesame seeds, fried garlic chips, and pepper. The rice also came with seasoned seaweed. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves tonkotsu ramen. Thank you for the meal!

The parking lot is very small, so be careful when parking at this shop. Since the water is self-service, it is recommended to get it before sitting down. I ordered the char siu ramen with rice this time. The noodles are firm. The clear yet not overpowering aftertaste of the soup here is recommended. Thank you for the meal!

Order: Ramen + Set A (Gyoza, Rice) A popular ramen shop loved by locals located about a 10-minute walk from Furuiichi Station in Habikino City. Especially during lunchtime, rice is included for free and the sets are also cheap! The gyoza I ordered this time was only 150 yen. When I visited around 11:10 am on a weekday, there was already a line forming. They focus on their Nagahama Ramen (tonkotsu) and even though it's tonkotsu, the smell was not overpowering. As mentioned earlier, the cost performance is good and the taste is delicious, so I would like to repeat if I have the opportunity to visit the area again in the future.

I often go to Fukuoka, Kumamoto, and other places to eat ramen, but it's hard to find that kind of ramen in Kansai. Even with tonkotsu ramen, it can be heavy and leave you feeling bloated the next day. However, Gonta brings authentic ramen from its origins to Kansai, with a rich flavor that isn't overwhelming. The chashu is tender and flavorful, and the high-quality toppings like takana with a hint of pepper and acidity complement the ramen perfectly. The thin noodles have a nice chewiness and balance out the dish well. This ramen is definitely one of the top three in Kansai in terms of taste. It may be a bit far, but it's worth going back for more!

This time, I miraculously got in without waiting! I ordered the Ramen A set. The ramen arrived first, followed by rice, seasoned seaweed, and then gyoza. There were various condiments on the table, which was nice. If you want to eat tonkotsu ramen in Osaka, this is the place to go! Thank you for the meal!

Ramen is 700 yen, extra noodles (kaedama) is 150 yen, oden is 100 yen, and gyoza is 300 yen. The soup is on the slightly thicker side, with a good aftertaste. The chashu is light, and the high-quality greens have a peppery flavor which is good for changing up the taste. The gyoza has thick skin and a light filling. The oden, which I ordered with daikon, was mediocre.

I had been wanting to go there for a long time and finally went for lunch on Sunday. I ordered the ramen and the tonkotsu soup was incredibly delicious. The noodles were thin and had a nice texture, and the chashu was just the right amount, not too little or too much. The toppings of red pickled ginger, sesame, and fried garlic were all satisfying. I finished every drop of the soup. I definitely want to go back again.

I finally got to visit a popular restaurant that I had been wanting to go to for a while. The menu is simple, with ramen, oden, and kimchi being the only options. I went on a Tuesday at 11:00 when they opened. I ordered oden (thick fried tofu, daikon radish, and burdock root tempura), Chashu ramen (regular size, with noodles cooked firm), and Chashu ramen (large size, with noodles cooked firm). The oden had a slightly sweet broth and was well simmered. The ramen had thin noodles typical of Nagahama ramen, with a slightly salty taste due to the firm noodles. The soup was not light but had a slight thickness to it. The large size ramen had a bit less soup, and the balance with the noodles was slightly off. Next time, I will skip the large size and opt for an extra serving of noodles. The toppings of pickled ginger and mustard greens were provided, but I found that they weren't necessary due to the already salty taste of the noodles and soup. After finishing the ramen soup, drinking the slightly sweet oden broth was very refreshing. It was truly a delicious ramen that made me feel like I hadn't had in a long time. I will definitely be coming back.

This shop serves delicious authentic pork bone ramen with a stable taste. I used to order the gyoza set, but recently I have been ordering the chashu ramen. On this day, the lunchtime chashu ramen came with free rice. I finished it all in no time. Thank you for the meal!

It was a shop that I had noticed when passing by in a car. It was my first visit, but both the ramen and gyoza were delicious. I'm not very knowledgeable about ramen, but this was the most delicious and easy to eat ramen I've had in my history of eating Nagahama ramen. The owner and other staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was great with many local customers engaging in pleasant conversations. As mentioned in the shop information, there is parking space for about 3 cars, but since it faces a main street, it might be difficult to enter and exit during busy times. However, I highly recommend this place to those who love Nagahama ramen.

For someone like me who has never been to Hakata, this is the taste of Hakata. The creamy pork bone soup and thin noodles are the perfect combination. I always get extra green onions (+¥100). I sprinkle a lot of sesame seeds from the table until the soup is almost hidden, and I top it off with red pickled ginger and mustard greens. Recently, the closing time changed to 9pm, so I can't go as often, but this ramen is addictive and I crave it from time to time.

At 1:30 pm, just before the end of the lunch service, I entered the restaurant and ordered a ramen and gyoza set at the counter. I noticed a pot of oden placed at the corner of the counter, and when I looked inside, I saw well-flavored oden priced at only 100 yen each. I couldn't resist and picked out some chikuwa and atsuage to enjoy while waiting for my ramen. The chikuwa and atsuage had a delicious flavor, and as I was savoring them, my ramen arrived. Personally, I loved the tonkotsu ramen, and the gyoza was also excellent with plenty of juicy filling. I couldn't resist ordering an extra serving of noodles, even though I was already in a calorie overload state. I left the restaurant feeling very satisfied.

Ramen 2nd bowl (Tonkotsu + Shoyu 700 yen) ★★★★ The soup is a tonkotsu-based soy sauce flavor. The noodles are ultra-thin straight noodles. The toppings include pork belly chashu and green onions. The soup, made from pork bones and with a moderate amount of oil, has a rounded flavor with a mellow taste enhanced by a soy sauce-based sauce, bringing out the rich umami of the pork bones without any unpleasant smell. The noodles have a firm texture and a satisfying chewiness. The small chashu slices, six in total, are tender and well-seasoned, complementing the soup perfectly. You can enjoy different flavors by adding the provided toppings such as pickled vegetables, red pickled ginger, pepper, shichimi, and fried garlic. There are also affordable set menu options available for lunch. It has been 15 years since my last visit. Although the price has gone up by about 50 yen since then, you can still enjoy a great bowl of ramen at a reasonable price. The toppings include pork belly chashu and green onions. The soup, made from pork knuckles, is free of any unpleasant smell and has a rich umami and creamy finish. I suddenly feel like eating at this restaurant. This time, I ordered the chashu ramen and rice. The chashu in the ramen is thicker than usual, giving it a satisfying texture! It's great that rice comes with the lunch set. Thank you for the meal!

A pork bone ramen restaurant that has been around in Habikino for a long time. This was my second visit. I had the regular pork bone ramen last time, so this time I tried the kimchi ramen. The kimchi here is delicious! I went on a Saturday evening and had to wait for 3 groups ahead of me. I realized there must be a reason why this place has been successful for so many years.

I went to this restaurant again to enjoy their reliable tonkotsu ramen. Upon entering the restaurant, it is recommended to pour water for yourself before sitting down as it is self-service. A staff member will come to take your order. This time, I ordered the tonkotsu ramen (firm) set A. It was delicious as always. Thank you for the meal!

Visited "Tonkotsu Ramen Gontaro" for the first time in 25 years✨ The taste remains unchanged from the past! But this time, it was incredibly delicious‼️(I felt like it has evolved since the old days) If you try it for the first time, you will definitely say "Wow, delicious!" (laughs)
