The cafe "Machinotodai Coffee Faro" in front of Nopporo Station is my favorite. I ordered the classic coffee shop pudding as usual. The atmosphere inside is calm and has a nice jazz music playing, making it a comfortable place to be. The owner has always been polite and kind since the opening, which is impressive. They always give a complimentary snack, which is a nice touch. The pudding is made with 100% Hokkaido milk, firm and delicious. The caramel on top has a perfect balance of sweetness. I also tried the iced cafe au lait, made with water-dripped coffee, rich Hokkaido milk, and cream. I want to try other food items on the menu next time. Overall, it was a delicious meal.

I've been interested in this café for quite some time, but I kept putting off going because they don't have a parking lot and I wasn't sure when I could go. What a mistake! I should have gone sooner!! When I visited around 6 pm, all the table seats were full, but there were 3 empty seats at the counter, so I sat there. I was thrilled to see my favorite character, Molcar, in front of me! I was so happy, and before I knew it, it had moved right in front of me. How thoughtful! Thank you! I ordered the "Adult Coffee Milk Float" (800 yen) which is made with Kahlua milk, water drip coffee, and vanilla ice cream. I was worried it might be too sweet, but I found out you can order it without ice cream (-100 yen), so I did that! I also ordered the "Traditional Café Pudding" (300 yen) which was my main reason for visiting. The Adult Coffee Milk was sweet and easy to drink, I could gulp it down easily. The pudding was firm, not too sweet, with a strong egg flavor. The caramel was sweet and fragrant, perfect match with the pudding! It was so delicious! I want to eat a bucket of this pudding! My companion ordered the "Mild Blend" (600 yen) which is brewed one cup at a time with a siphon, equivalent to 1.5 cups. When a table seat became available, there was an announcement inviting us to move to a larger seat. How considerate! Thank you! If I lived nearby, I would want to come here every day. It was a café with a great atmosphere and excellent service, very comfortable. Next time, I definitely want to try the coffee jelly! Thank you, Faro, for the wonderful experience!

I finished my work in Nopporo-cho and was given a ride to Nopporo Station on the Hakodate Main Line. Near the north exit, close to the rotary, there is a shop. This shop opened on December 19, 2019, and has a retro-modern and authentic interior that is lovely. The pleasant background music adds to the cozy atmosphere, making it a nice place to be. The shop plays really good records. I randomly walked into this shop, but it turned out to be a great find. The surprise of Nopporo Station, perhaps. I ordered an iced coffee (600 yen including tax) and added 300 yen for a traditional coffee shop pudding. The pudding is limited in quantity. The slightly bitter yet mild and flavorful iced coffee paired perfectly with the old-fashioned pudding. The pudding had a good balance of firmness and smoothness, with an excellent texture. It had a rich flavor that wasn't too sweet, and the slightly bitter caramel tied everything together. It was delicious. Good taste, good atmosphere, good people - I would love to visit this shop again if I have the chance. It truly is a "beacon of the town." Thank you for the meal! As a side note, this shop is said to inherit the spirit of "Coffee Shop Kusunoki," which was once located in Nishi-Tokyo City, Tokyo, and sadly closed on April 15, 2019. It is said that people who know about it come all the way from Tokyo to visit. The fact that the spirit of "Kusunoki" has reached Hokkaido is truly fantastic. We must cherish that spirit.

When I entered, there were 7 people inside, and it seemed like a very popular cafe! I had never been there before, but I'm glad I went! The music was playing loudly on records, creating a great atmosphere. It seems like a place where you can enjoy the long opening hours. I will definitely use it in the future. The customer service was friendly, the cocoa was delicious, and it really lifted my spirits.

Wild Higashi Station in front of the cafe, 1.5 years since the last visit? A solo cafe experience!!! Left my husband with our daughter and made a quick stop during the free time before going to the beauty salon! Due to the pandemic, I wanted to take it easy but I had a hair appointment, so I only stayed for 30 minutes. The coffee was made with a siphon. Stylish! I wanted to take a picture of it! I can't describe the taste of the coffee, but it was delicious and the atmosphere was great. And you can get 1.5 cups, so it's a good deal, right? The pudding was firm, like the old-fashioned pudding from a classic cafe. I feel like I could eat as many as I wanted!! The atmosphere of the shop was really nice, I feel like I want to come back again!... From here on, I apologize for not being related to the shop, but I can't help but feel grateful for being able to spend a normal day like this. Taking care of my 0-year-old daughter is tough! I often think I want some alone time! But I need to cherish the present moment. Last year, when my mother-in-law passed away, I felt the concept of death for the first time, and it made me think about various things. Not just parents, but little by little, situations like being separated from friends for drinks inevitably come up. I wanted my daughter to meet her and do eating challenges with my husband. I checked in advance for a place to kill time in Ebetsu, and decided on this place, Prin. I arrived from the back after going around in circles with my navigation since I didn't know the area. Oh, it's right in front of Nopporo Station. There is a Times parking lot right in front. It was a Sunday after 2 pm, and the table seats were full. Since I was alone, I was fine with sitting at the counter. I ordered a coffee "Deep" for 600 yen. It was served in a siphon. I waited leisurely as some soft jazz played in the background. The master was very polite as he brought over my order. The pudding was firm with lots of caramel soaked in. The caramel was quite sweet, not really my preference, but it was delicious. I thought the coffee "Deep" would be strong, but it was different. The taste gradually expanded. The cups seemed to be chosen with care, creating a nice atmosphere. The chair was comfortable to sit in. Counter chairs are usually uncomfortable for me, but this one gently held my hips and back. It was very comfortable. I felt like staying longer. And when I left, the couple (I'm sure they were a couple) came out of the shop to see me off. It was the first time I was seen off at a cafe. It was a lovely experience. I want to go back again.

One weekend, curious about the new phase that everyone is talking about and how things will change, I decided to visit a cafe that seemed to have opened relatively recently in front of Nopporo Station in Ebetsu City. Since there didn't seem to be a parking lot, I parked at the coin parking lot across the street from the station. The interior of the cafe was surprisingly spacious, with a row of counter seats and a row of table seats, and the friendly owner and his wife welcomed me. Jazz music was playing in the background. I decided to try their coffee, which was apparently their specialty, so I ordered the "Mild Blend (600 yen)" and couldn't resist ordering the "Traditional Pudding (300 yen)" as well. They informed me that it would take some time as they would be using a siphon, so I patiently waited. Finally, the Mild Blend coffee arrived in a transparent glass cup. It was indeed mild as they had described, but personally, I found it a bit weak. I wondered if it was because of the siphon, the beans, or the brewing time. As for the Traditional Pudding, it was exactly what you would expect from something with "traditional" in its name. It was lightly firm, had a hint of egg flavor, and was sweetened just right, with a caramel topping that complemented it well. I also received a complimentary Ghana chocolate as a service. Overall, while coffee preferences vary, the people at the cafe were undeniably nice, so I can see them gaining more fans in the future. Thank you for the meal.

The prices are slightly higher than chain stores, but the calm atmosphere is perfect for those who want to relax. It seems to be a non-smoking establishment, making it a great place for non-smokers to enjoy their coffee leisurely. I hope this place stays open for a long time.
