After a long time, I went for a solo drink after a gathering. The place was moderately crowded. I was led to the counter and given a tablet to place my order. I ordered my first drink through the tablet. I found out that if you order a mega drink other than beer, you can roll a dice for a chance to get it for free (0), half price (1 or 9), or regular price (2-8). I decided to go for a strong lemon sour as my mega drink. To my surprise, I rolled a "1" and got it for half price. It was a lucky moment, even though I didn't want to use up my luck in a place like this. The mega drink was delicious and strong, just how I like it. For food, I had a potato salad with plenty of eggs and stir-fried squid guts. The potato salad didn't look great but tasted good. It was nice to eat it little by little. The squid guts stir-fry gave me the chance to savor the texture of squid after a long time. The seasoning was just right, not too strong or too light. I ordered a refill of a strong grapefruit sour, but it turned out not as strong as I expected. I realized I didn't mix it well, and towards the end, it got stronger. I felt a bit disappointed. Overall, it was a good meal. I might consider using this place for our company's party next time.

I worked for 5 hours in the morning and finished at 12 o'clock! I went to Yaesu Izakaya Shoten Sapporo Kitaitchika store. I ordered the Mega Chicken Karaage Pork Miso Set Meal (with extra rice) & Sapporo Classic beer (half price). It arrived in about 5 minutes! The Mega Chicken Karaage was nicely piled up and delicious, crispy and flavorful. The pork miso soup was comforting and went well with the extra rice. The Sapporo Classic beer added a touch of forbidden pleasure to the meal. The lunch set meal came with unlimited rice and salad, which was a nice touch. I had a couple of cigarettes (IQOS) after the meal and then went home to take a nap. A very nice weekend.

Today, I went to an audio equipment listening event in the morning and decided to stop by for lunch on the way back. It was past 1 pm and the restaurant was crowded, but I was able to find a seat at the counter. I ordered the Seafood Bowl Set with Vegetable Pork Miso Soup for 867 yen, with extra rice. The food arrived quickly, but the portion size was smaller than expected. The soup had a lot of daikon radish and very little meat. The rice was decent, but not outstanding. I tried to ask for a refill of cabbage, but was told it was only available for dishes with fried items. I was disappointed as I thought I could have a cabbage salad. I decided not to get a refill since the food was just okay. While eating, I noticed that the restaurant offered a 100 yen discount coupon if you download their app, so I did. However, to my surprise, the person next to me started smoking, which I didn't expect as I thought it was a non-smoking establishment. It turned out to be a local chain restaurant. Feeling a bit out of place, I quickly finished my meal and left due to the smoke.

Today's lunch was also at Yaesu Izakaya Shoten. It's crowded today. The water is also not coming out quickly. The cigarette smoke didn't bother me yesterday, but it's bothering me today. I went there for the first time. I was planning to order the cheapest menu, but I ended up getting the daily special set meal. I heard the name of the dish, but I forgot it. It was something like chicken... and it tasted like sweet and sour pork. The portion was quite big, and even though I asked for less rice, I ended up with leftover side dishes and had to get extra rice, which was a bit embarrassing... I should have just ordered the large portion from the beginning. But it's nice that refills are free. People of all ages, from young people to older men and women, seemed to have turned this place into a daytime drinking sanctuary. The restaurant offers dishes like "Tama," "Yama no Saru," "Torino Suke," "Tori Samurai," and "Tototo," under the brand "Aix Food." The same company also operates the franchise rights for "Komeda's Coffee." The parent company is "Aix Holdings," which operates businesses related to automobiles, insurance, real estate, etc. The total capital of the group is 250 million yen, with a turnover of 29.6 billion yen (fiscal year 2022). I started with two "BEER @ 598" and ordered "Potato Butter and Squid Salted Fish Roe @ 528" for food. I felt like having sake, and although the taste was not bad, I wished it was a bit warmer. For food, I had the "Assorted Tempura Skewers @ 768" (pork, chicken, shrimp, etc.) - it was crispy and freshly fried, and the ingredients were decent. I also had two highballs. It's really great to find a restaurant open for lunch on New Year's Day. We were able to gather with friends who were back in town. We just reserved seats and ordered dishes a la carte, spending about 5 hours eating and drinking, but I was surprised that it only cost around 4000 yen per person. This is a shop that you just can't help but stop by. I love their lunches, and it's the perfect place to relax with a drink. Especially when there aren't many customers. Is that the only option for beer? Oh well... I ended up ordering: Mega Sapporo Classic (¥100 off) for ¥699 and Edamame for ¥399. It was a huge Mega mug!!! I didn't need that much, but oh well ^^; While playing around with the touch panel, I discovered that there was a regular size mug available! What a surprise! I made a mistake in my order. After touring Hokkaido and finally arriving in Sapporo, I visited the famous Odori and Susukino areas after two years. Ah, the city life is truly the best! Before meeting my boss for dinner, I had some free time, so I strolled around with a junior colleague. I suggested having a drink at a standing bar because I wanted to drink some draft beer. Surprisingly, the junior colleague agreed to join me. We found a standing bar in the underground area near the Susukino intersection. They didn't charge for seating or service, and they served draft beer. I used a coupon to get half off the first drink, and it was even applicable to the large size. In the end, I had a large draft beer and another draft beer, while my junior colleague had a lemon sour. However, they don't offer all-you-can-drink for individual orders, so if you want that, you should go for a course. The cheapest course includes 8 dishes, and with a coupon, I only paid 2200 yen and got change back, haha! I had my fill of oden, grilled rice balls, and more. Until 5 pm, there is a happy hour☆ All drinks are 100 yen off, including beer ( ﾟДﾟ)ﾉ. The classic medium-sized beer is already cheap, but during the day it's less than 300 yen! You can order using a tablet or paper menu, and there are plenty of food options at reasonable prices, like kushikatsu and yakitori. The taste is average, like a typical chain restaurant. I tried the "snack sushi" with Korean seaweed, perfect for a bite with alcohol. They serve drinks quickly, but the food takes a while because lunch orders are prioritized. I had some errands at Sapporo Station and my friend was taking the Namboku Line home, so Sapporo Station was the perfect spot for us! It turns out that I've been coming to this place a lot lately, as my friend pointed out. We arrived and later realized that I had actually been here once before two years ago, haha. We didn't notice it while we were drinking though. You can order using a tablet, and the drinks are cheap! Until 5 PM every day, there's a 100 yen discount on drinks. Highballs are around 260 yen, which is a great deal! We ordered a mix of kushikatsu, tempura, and corn fritters in egg sauce. The corn fritters were sweet and crispy, and really delicious. The other dishes were decent and easy to eat, but I was so engrossed in chatting that I didn't pay much attention to the taste. It's a convenient place to drink, close to Chikaho and Sapporo Station, with seating available and no cover charge. The cheap drinks until 5 PM make it perfect for a quick drink. Sapporo Station has quite a few places where you can enjoy cheap drinks, so a cheap drink tour is always fun! In this era of time restrictions, day drinking is the best, so I think I'll come back to this place for another Sapporo Station cheap drink tour. It was a great dining experience! Visited a convenient shop for daytime drinking. While it's not all-you-can-drink, they offer a 100 yen discount on drink prices until 5 pm, making it affordable and easy to use. I wish the seats were arranged in a more spacious layout, but overall, it's a very convenient place being directly connected to Chikaho.

"A restaurant in the same series as 'Tama' and others. I found out after entering the store that this time I visited here. I couldn't find a restaurant to go to, but this one happened to hit the spot. The menu is rich in variety and I'm having a hard time deciding what to order... I ordered several types of kushikatsu, cartilage fried chicken, umanegi (horse mackerel), several types of oden, and assorted tempura. Overall, everything was very delicious, but just like at Tama, the kushikatsu chicken thigh was exquisite. Being from Nakasatsunai, it was very tender and juicy. You can tell how the meat juice overflows the moment you bite into it. Umanegi was also very delicious, perfect for nibbling on while drinking. It was also very tasty. It's great that you can enjoy delicious food at a reasonable price, but it's a shame that there's no all-you-can-drink option. If only there was all-you-can-drink, it would be perfect... I went to a second party and then we disbanded. I still feel like drinking more. My throat is a little dry. Sometimes it happens ^^; My stomach is full, so I ordered a Lime Sour. My first dining out of 2021 was at the Yaezakura Izakaya Shop Sapporo Kitaitchika store, located near exit 10 of the Sapporo Station Underground Walkway. I went there for lunch after work, and I was able to get a seat right away since I arrived a little early. I ordered the daily special set meal (Meat Miso Bacon Bowl with Vegetable Pork Miso Soup) for 735 yen. The Meat Miso Bacon was amazing and delicious, and the vegetable pork miso soup was a nice addition.

I was walking from Sate Exit to the main street through Chikaho and I remembered a place that had a good deal for daytime drinking. When I looked at the sign, I was drawn in (laughs). There is no seating fee or table charge, which is fantastic! During daytime drinking hours (11am-5pm), all drinks are 100 yen off. I ordered beer and grilled dumplings. I drank the beer quickly, so I ordered a whiskey highball. When that was gone too, I added a special lemon sour. The grilled dumplings arrived hot and delicious, a bit different from a certain popular chain but still tasty. The total bill was around 1200 yen, very affordable!
