Wandering new curry mania / rookie ramen mania, a solo middle-aged man. This is a memo-like review from the old man. If you are looking for concise information about the restaurant and food, please move on to other people's reviews around here. I saw in the reviews of people I follow that the shop known for its "numbing" tantanmen has started serving curry. Upon investigation, it seems that currently only this shop and a shop in Tokyo offer it. I have tried their tantanmen a couple of times at a branch on the opposite side of Sapporo Station (south exit). The first time I ordered the "soupless" version, and whether I made a mistake with the ticket purchase or not, my tongue and mouth felt like they were "tingling" and there was no umami at all. But I tried to act cool and left the shop as if nothing had happened. The second time, I ordered the "with soup" version for revenge. Maybe I chose the ticket correctly this time because the "numbing" was just right, but I still felt the overwhelming sensation of Sichuan peppercorns taking over my mouth. Numbing curry, huh. It's been a while since "Enzan Professor." back then, even at a beginner level of "numbness: 2," it gradually started to work, and the overwhelming sensation in my mouth made it hard to taste the flavor of the curry. "Hama Curry" was a "chunk of umami," so I felt the difference even more. How about this curry? I left on a Sunday afternoon and headed to the area near Sapporo Station North Exit. Oh, there are no bikes parked anywhere. There is a paid bicycle parking lot near the north exit, right? It's hard to park because the spacing between the bike racks is narrow. The location is in Kita-ku, Kita 7-jo Nishi 4-chome. When you go down the outside stairs at Sapporo Station North Exit (west side) and cross the pedestrian crossing, the shop is located on the first floor of the building next to the "corner Famima." I confirmed the three patterns on the poster around the shop: Chicken Curry, Lamb Curry, and Combination Curry. I decided to go for the "Chicken Curry" but couldn't find the button. Why? I couldn't find the "Lamb Curry" or "Combination Curry" button. What's going on? I checked the menu again, but there were no buttons for them. After searching for 2-3 minutes, I finally found the "Chicken Curry" button (bottom left). But there was still no button for "Lamb Curry" or "Combination Curry." What's happening? Should I give up? But since I came all the way here, I decided to ask. I asked the staff standing next to the ticket machine, but they couldn't answer confidently and had to confirm with the staff at the order counter nearby. "What?" I felt a sense of annoyance from the staff at the order counter. Why are you asking me? What a hassle, in front of the customer. I don't know the staff's situation/communication among the staff, but this is not acceptable. In the end, as shown in the image, you have to purchase a ticket that adds up to the menu price, no matter what combination you choose. It's hard to understand this. You have to experience it. If there are not enough buttons on the machine to set the order, they should put up a follow-up notice on the machine. Maybe the curry customers are overwhelmingly few. If the staff next to the ticket machine actively followed up on the customers' reactions, it would help improve the shop's reputation, I think. That's my sense. Or is this the style of 'DENO' shop? How is this shop? ① ... Manager! ▼ Combination Curry, Chicken Curry, Lamb Curry, Numbing: 1 (setting from 0), Spiciness: 1 (setting from 0), tax included 950 yen.
