At the Mikasa Aeon Super Center, there is also a fire at the original Baskin Robbins location. I knew that they would have discounts earlier than in Iwamizawa (lol). I was aiming for the fresh ground meat skewers and they were still 40% off when I arrived, so I did some shopping and waited until they were 50% off to make my purchase (lol). I think the taste is the same everywhere, but the skewers are so delicious. Thanks to that, I ended up drinking a whole bottle of wine! Thank you for the meal! (っ˘ڡ˘ς)

This is the Ion in Mikasa. I wanted to eat something at the food court, but there was a sign saying "We are temporarily away from our seats. Please wait a moment." I waited for about 10 minutes, but no one came back, so I decided to buy some fried chicken at the Ion entrance right next to it. I usually get salted fried chicken at "Homare," but this time I tried their soy sauce fried chicken. The chicken thigh meat was tender and well-seasoned with soy sauce. Although the coating was a bit moist, it was not greasy and quite delicious! If I see soy sauce fried chicken at another branch, I'll definitely try it again. Thank you, Ion Mikasa store!

2023/8/13 Revisit [Takeout] It was rough during lunch, but... I want to get some reliable snacks for my evening drinks. Speaking of Mikasa AEON, this place is in it, so I'll buy something to take home! Bibai Yakitori Delicatessen En - [3rd time] Salted fried chicken is the way to go. Just this will be enough for today. So, I made the purchase. I'll have it at dinner time when I get home~ I'll bake it in the oven until it's nice and crispy before eating. The salted fried chicken from En has a thick coating and uses chicken breast, so it's not greasy, but when you make the surface crispy, the coating becomes fragrant and the meat is refreshing, plus it's salty, making it very easy to eat. When I was younger, I might have avoided this kind of fried chicken, but now I think it's good. I can eat a lot and it's the best as a snack with drinks. Today, my wife and I quickly finished one pack as usual (laughs). It was a day where I couldn't shake off the lunch incident, but I was able to forget about it when eating and drinking. Thanks to the delicious fried chicken! It's always delicious and I'm grateful! Thank you♪

This is a takeout specialty shop located inside the Ion Super Center Mikasa store. When I went there late, there were only a few yakitori left, so instead of in a case, they were packed in a few packs. I was hoping to find chicken skin or ponpochi included, but there were no yakitori left. However, I found chicken skin senbei in the deli section and purchased it. It goes well as a side dish for alcohol, but it's also more than enough as a rice accompaniment. It was full of flavor. Thank you very much.

【Takeout】Today, my wife went to a meeting at Mikasa Railway Village for an event, so when I came home from work, dinner was already prepared. It was a rare treat of salted zangi (deep-fried chicken) from Bibai Yakitori Deli En. Oh, but it's not just salted zangi. There's also raw tsukune (chicken meatball) and what seems like tonkatsu (pork cutlet)! Let's start by warming up the salted zangi in the oven. The crispy coating is toasted to perfection. The texture is crispy, the meat is lean, and the taste is light and salty. I really love this! It's so delicious♪ As I enjoy that, I reheat the tonkatsu. But this tonkatsu is made from beef! It's rare to find beef tonkatsu at a deli, and it's my first time trying it. Hmm, this is also delicious. The meat was cooked thoroughly, yet it remains incredibly tender. Lastly, I microwave the tsukune. The sauce options are teriyaki and salt for me, and plum for my wife. It's been a while since I've had raw tsukune. The regular teriyaki and salt flavors are classic. The tsukune itself is just so tasty! The plum tsukune has a slightly sweet sauce, which was good but not as intense as I had hoped. Still, it was delicious. It seems like the deli's dishes are of high quality. But, I've confirmed once again that salted zangi is an essential item that cannot be missed. It was delicious this time too! Thank you for the meal♪

On the way back from En Sapporo, I stopped by Sanmaki to buy tofu. The tofu shop I visited before was closed, so I decided to buy tofu at Ion instead. When I stopped by Ion, there was a food stall. I was surprised because I didn't see any flames. My wife was exasperated, saying, "I don't need it anymore." "Oh, really?" "How about some zangi? It's 20% off." Then she said, "We already bought KFC, so we don't need zangi." That's your preference, not mine. I decided to get four skewers anyway. "It's 600 yen for six skewers," the stall owner said. I have strong likes and dislikes, so I can't leave the choice to someone else. I have to choose myself. The food stall owner seemed surprisingly nice, considering it was a food stall. I decided to warm up three skewers while waiting for my wife. I had skewers with pork and skin, sauce, and garlic. I didn't even think the food stall would be good. I didn't pay much attention to the pork skewers. I thought, "Isn't this how meat is supposed to taste?" The meat in the middle was in terrible condition, but you probably knew that when you selected and packaged it, right? So, it's not my fault. The garlic... the garlic had melted. This is... this is terrible. The meat... it's not from the chest, is it? Terrible. The skin, on the other hand, was delicious. It might even be better than usual. It's so good because it's a food stall.

After eating ramen for takeout, my wife said she wanted to stop by a supermarket. I was wondering where she wanted to go... In the end, we stopped by several places but couldn't find what she was looking for. Eventually, we ended up going all the way to Mitsuke Aeon (^^;) Well, since we were already on the way back, it was fine. But in the end, they didn't have what she was looking for here either (laughs). Since we had come all this way, we decided to get dinner and some snacks for drinks here. They specialize in Bibai yakitori, but the best and safest bet here is the "Salt Zangi." My wife wanted to try a different kind of Zangi, but we stuck with the Salt Zangi. We bought one pack for 500 yen. We baked it in the oven at home before eating it~ Salt Zangi is still affordable, and the portion size is generous, which is great. They use chicken breast instead of thigh meat, so it's not greasy, and the coating is crispy, so no upset stomach afterwards!! It's really delicious. My wife was also satisfied. She said that there is no other Zangi at a deli that is not as greasy as this one. I'm starting to have trouble eating oily foods lately, but I can still eat this Zangi without any problems♪ We finished it all in no time, even the ones that didn't cook through completely! I'll say it again, at En, it's all about this Salt Zangi, or maybe the raw tsukune. It's a reliable deli item (^^♪ It was delicious today too!! Thank you for the meal♪
