At the second bar I visited with friends, I was surprised to find that the Ai-seki Shokudo was just a bit off the bustling Osakabe Tenjin Shopping Street! As a fan of Chidori and Ai-seki Shokudo, I had to stop by. The interior has a standing bar style, and everyone seems to be enjoying their time in their own way. Since we were all fans of the show, I ended up chatting with several other customers, which made for a fun experience. The restaurant also features the classic "Wait a minute!!" button, which, when pressed, plays the iconic "Wait a minute!!" voice from Nobu and Daigo. We ordered the "Wait a minute!!" drinks, with four of us getting two blue and two pink drinks, alongside the "Mune is Mune" fried chicken. When the drinks arrived, we raised our glasses to toast, saying, of course, "Wait a minute!!" I opted for the non-alcoholic pink "Wait a minute!!" drink, which tasted like a diluted strawberry jam topped with a hefty amount of whipped cream—it was quite rich. Also, when the "Mune is Mune" fried chicken was brought to us, it was introduced simply as "Here’s the fried chicken!" I would have preferred if they had brought it saying, "Mune is Mune!" to keep with the theme. It’s also a limited-time offer, so if you're interested, I recommend visiting soon!

We were six people drinking and decided to look for a second place. We entered an interesting-looking alley and found a bar. To our surprise, everything was quite pricey, and there was a requirement to order at least one item and one drink per person. The food menu was limited, with most items priced around 1,000 yen, making it quite challenging to order for all six of us. The taste was unexpectedly fairly good, though. We were shocked to find that a 880 yen cup of sake only contained about 80cc. In the end, we spent around 9,000 yen for the six of us. It might be good for a couple of fans of the show to visit, but for older guys who prefer beer or highballs, it wasn't suitable. We quickly wanted to move on to drink somewhere else, so after fulfilling our minimum order requirement, we left in about 30 minutes. The three older gentlemen who came in after us also left immediately. However, we did enjoy the entertainment aspect of the place. The staff were friendly too. It’s located in “Ohashi Tenjin Ura Sando.” You can find it by entering a narrow alley in the Sonezaki Ohashi Tenjin shopping street, which is lined with restaurants on both sides, creating a vibrant bar street. It's just a short walk from the nearest Osaka Metro Higashi-Umeda Station, and also about a 10-minute walk from JR Osaka Station and Hankyu Umeda Station. I entered through the Urasan sign from the shopping street and made my way down the stone-paved path to arrive. It was the weekend evening, and there were already three groups ahead of me. The monitor was playing "Aiseki Shokudo," filling the room with laughter. I placed my order by scanning a QR code. I got the following items: - "Ano Hi Draft Beer" ¥660 - "Super Strong Carbonated Highball" ¥660 - "Saruukatsu Village Flying Scallop" ¥1078 - "Hige Moyashi" ¥748 - "Martian" ¥638 The set-up of the restaurant and the themed menu based on the show was enjoyable! The scallops I had were a bit on the salty side, making them perfect to nibble on with drinks. I highly recommend the Martian; it was so delicious that I wanted to take some home! It's a standing bar, so it's perfect for having a couple of drinks before heading home. The atmosphere feels like stepping into a recording set of "Aisekidou," which is wonderful. There's even a button that says "Chotto Mate~" (Hold on a second), and everyone was pressing it for fun. It's a lovely, laid-back place.

This place just opened on August 7 and is a brand new restaurant based on the Kansai variety show "Aiseki Shokudo" featuring the duo Chidori. The interior is a standing bar, and they are showing "Aiseki Shokudo" on the TV inside. As someone who has watched it almost weekly from the early episodes and recorded them, I couldn't miss this chance! The menu items are humorously named after the show, which is quite fun. That day, I had "Hotate from Sarufutsu Village (that will fly)" and "Hormone Rendang" as snacks. The scallops were indeed delicious enough to make you feel like they could fly! The rendang was also packed with spicy hormons and incredibly delicious. I even found the "Chotto Matte" button, which is familiar from the show, in a corner of the restaurant, so I pressed it for a bit of fun. I thoroughly enjoyed the world of the show and left completely satisfied. I would love to stop by again if the timing is right. Thank you for the meal!
