The bagel was filled with lots of chocolate, satisfyingly dense and delicious. The croissant had a unique combination that I had never tried before, but it was tasty with a refreshing aftertaste. A familiar bakery for the people of Hokkaido, especially Sapporo residents. This time, I visited the Yamabana store, which is now expanding with multiple locations around the city. Located inside a shopping center, there is no need to worry about parking. It had been a while since I last visited "Donguri" bakery, and I was surprised by the wide variety of bread options available. Not only that, they also have an eat-in space. I was caught off guard realizing I had no makeup on after leaving the house (oops), so this time I opted for takeout. Every bread looked delicious, and I felt tempted to buy a lot (haha). For lunch that day, I purchased a sandwich with ratatouille-like filling, a lemon cream Danish, and of course, the classic "chikuwa bread." I also bought salt bread, cream bread for the next morning, and some weekday breakfast bread, although I lost the receipt so I can't remember their names. The sandwich turned out to be a hot sandwich made with regular bread, filled with plenty of ratatouille. The lemon cream Danish was large, with a generous amount of cream, but it seemed a bit difficult to eat outside. The nostalgic chikuwa bread had tuna inside, and it was surprisingly big, I don't remember it being this large back in the day. The cream bread, on the other hand, had a brioche-like dough with a rich but not too sweet cream filling, and it felt quite heavy even when held in hand. This bakery stands out from the trendy "fancy bakeries" and offers a variety of bread from nostalgic classics to challenging items. If I keep coming here often, I'm sure I'll gain weight (haha). I had a weekday lunch for the first time in about 3 years. When I came back after a long time, I found out that now drinks are charged separately, which used to be included in the price. It's understandable due to price increases, but the cost performance has worsened. What surprised me was that the soup curry was served too hot. The interior, including the café space, is spacious and stylish, which got me excited. I had a great time looking at the bread and deciding which ones to get with high spirits. I ended up buying my usual Zangi skewers, along with mentaiko French bread, sausage salt bread, mini croissant with sausage, and pudding. The standout was the mentaiko French bread! It's exclusive to this store and is twice the size compared to others, making a big impact even in photos. All of them were satisfying to eat, with the consistent deliciousness of Don Guri. Although I didn't eat in the café space this time, I'd like to come back next time and enjoy coffee while eating bread there.

It doesn't seem to contain vanilla beans. - Cheese Souffle Limited to Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays I thought it was exclusive to this store, but it seems to be sold in other stores as well. The full size is quite large and dense (similar to a fruitcake factory size). It has a souffle-like texture in the center, but the baking may have been a bit too much, giving it a steamed bread-like impression. When chilled, it becomes moist and satisfying to eat. - Apple Pie It uses cream exclusive to the Yamahana store. It was still warm, so I ate it right away. It does not contain cinnamon and has a lot of chunky apples that are juicy. The pie crust is thick, and I usually dislike apple pies with hardly any apples, but Don Guri's apple pie has a significant amount of apples. The apples are cooked sweet and lack a crunchy texture. There is only a small amount of custard, and it is hardly noticeable due to the strong apple flavor. The pie crust is crispy and delicious. - Curry Bread It was also freshly made, so when I ate it, it was crispy like eating a snack, almost like an ASMR experience. I was curious about the bread with a big sausage on top that seemed like something you would find in Amamudakotan. They also have canele and cheese tart, making their lineup rich and diverse. The seating area is sunny and open, but the tables are a bit close together. I started with the salad. I chose the Yuzu Soy dressing on the side, but the salad itself had a mayo dressing flavor, so I didn't use the dressing. The salad had 22 different ingredients including leafy vegetables, root vegetables, beans, seaweed, and chicken, providing a variety of textures to enjoy. I was so busy chewing that I couldn't talk much. They say you can't have a conversation on an empty stomach, so it can't be helped.
