I visited "nent," a French restaurant recently awarded one Michelin star, located just a few minutes walk from Osaka Umeda. This time, I opted for the chef's tasting menu paired with 90ml of 6 different wines. The menu included various dishes such as amuse-bouche with caviar, bonito and eggplant, shrimp mousse, conger eel with girolle mushrooms, sea bream with mussels, lamb with Anjou Reblochon cheese, and a dessert of kumquat and chamomile ice cream. The dishes showcased the flavors of seafood, vegetables, and meat, and were beautifully presented. The owner and sommelier carefully paired each dish with champagne and wine, providing detailed explanations. The meal was a delightful experience, allowing me to savor a variety of flavors including umami, sweetness, saltiness, sourness, and bitterness. I look forward to visiting this reasonably priced and delicious restaurant again. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I went to Nent for the first time in April because I saw beef cheek stew on their Instagram and I really wanted to eat it. The amuse-bouche was gazpacho with a cold gazpacho granita, perfect for a hot day. The Shimaji fish and flower mushroom were beautifully presented and delicious. The Shimaji fish with almond sauce was a great combination. The Isaki fish with paprika sauce had hidden Japanese red peppers inside. The Isaki fish was tender and perfectly cooked. The black-haired Japanese beef cheek stew was amazing, I had it for the third time and it was still delicious. It had been a while since I last visited, but I still love it! I enjoyed a menu that was conscious of the season and couldn't be eaten at home, it was really delicious! I thought it was a high-class restaurant because even water was charged, but as a pregnant woman who can't drink wine or alcohol, I would be happy if I could have water (lol). The food and hospitality were both very good. When we left the restaurant, both the chef and the staff saw us off until they were out of sight, which was very pleasant. I would like to go again when the season changes!

I made a reservation and visited a newly Michelin-starred restaurant located near Umeda. It was a bit hard to find as it was on the basement floor, but I finally found the sign and went down. The chef seemed to have worked at Acordu and Rasim in Nara. The delicate and beautiful dishes were shared at a good pace, the portions were just right, and the amount of wine was moderate. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

The chef from La Seine did a great job with both presentation and taste. The dessert, featuring loquat compote, Earl Grey ice cream, and coconut mousse, was exceptional. Although the lunch course had few dishes and left me feeling a bit unsatisfied, the reasonable price makes it understandable. I heard they offer dinner courses for lunch, so I'd like to try that next time. One thing to note is that I felt a bit rushed. I barely had time to decide on a drink before the amuse-bouche arrived. The meal started at 12 pm, and I don't think I was late, so it felt a bit hurried.

In a nondescript basement of a mixed-use building, the interior is small with only tables, but it has a very calming atmosphere. Both the chef and the service staff were kind. I had the lunch course, and the Amberjack with Roquefort sauce was amazing, with crispy skin, juicy flesh, and a perfect match of flavors. I think this is a wonderful restaurant.

I felt that the cuisine was delicate. It didn't give off a refreshing summer vibe, but rather a sense of coolness, not exactly refreshing, but more like a quiet and beautiful impression, like a rare flower. It was simple yet delicious, with no unnecessary elements, like a rare flower indeed. The explanation of the dishes was a bit hard to understand, but it felt like part of the presentation, part of the concept. I would love to have the light bean soup, bonito, and water eggplant again. I enjoyed the texture of the passion fruit in the fig compote. If I had to point out something, the slight fishy smell of the amberjack bothered me a bit. Also, the loud voices of the customers next to us took away from the atmosphere, which was a shame in such a quiet restaurant. Thank you for the delicious meal.

This is my second visit, and unfortunately I couldn't drink because I came by car haha. The location is very convenient, right next to Hankyu Umeda Station. It feels like entering a different world in the underground area, away from the hustle and bustle. The space is not very large, with an open kitchen and a dish warmer taking up some space. I like how the deliciousness gradually builds up. The main dish, the lamb, was exquisite! Unforgettable taste! It was amazing!

Today's Zamasai meeting was at Nent-san's restaurant. The place is located in a crowded underground building, quite different from the Michelin-starred restaurants. The menu included:
- Thin bean soup
- Pork cutlet with water eggplant
- Amberjack
- Venison
- Persimmon compote
The food was delicious, and I would love to come back for dinner sometime. We got so engrossed in conversation that we ended up staying for quite a long time. Thank you for the meal! (•́✧•̀)

I visited this place for lunch for the first time. It is located right by the Hankyu Saya-machi station exit! When I first visited the area last time, I was half in doubt that there would be a French restaurant around here (I apologize for that). But now, I already know about it! A friend introduced me to this place. The interior is filled with elegant ladies having lunch. It has a glamorous yet sophisticated atmosphere. The sommelier here is a veteran who has worked at famous restaurants. There is a wine pairing option for lunch, but I had to resist and stick to sparkling water since I had plans for the evening. The dishes mainly focus on vegetables and are beautifully presented. The food is delicious. The lunch course is not too heavy, but we left feeling satisfied. The portion sizes are not large. It was another day of delicious food. Thank you for the meal.

I visited this restaurant for lunch. It was a weekday and my husband and I were able to take a day off together, so we decided to try out a course meal restaurant that we don't usually go to. We found this place in the Umeda area and it turned out to be a great choice. The lunch course was 6,600 yen per person, and we opted for the wine pairing at 4,180 yen. Considering that a glass of wine would cost around 1,500 yen, we thought the pairing was a good deal and it complemented the dishes well. The food we had included amuse-bouche, gnocchi with clam chowder, sakuramasu fish, red sea bream with pork trotters and tomato, roasted lamb, and yuzu and rosemary ice cream. The restaurant is located near Hankyu Umeda station, opposite an izakaya called Kaki, so the quality of the food was unexpected given the location. The chef had experience at La Cime and akordu, while the owner and sommelier had worked at Unisson des Coeurs, ad hoc, and Fujiya1935. The total bill came to around 11,000 yen per person with a 5% service charge, but the value for the quality of the food was excellent. I highly recommend the wine pairing. I definitely want to visit this restaurant again.

This was my first time visiting here for a girls' gathering! Located in the basement of a building, across from a busy restaurant where people were lining up. As soon as you open the door here, it's quiet. To the right, you can see the kitchen, and then the dining area with table seats opens up. On this day, everyone in our group loved wine. The sommelier presented us with various wine options. We started with a toast with champagne, followed by three appetizers: sweetfish, snap peas, and white shrimp. The clam soup with asparagus had a delicious broth. We also got to see the duck before it was cooked! When it arrived, the skin was crispy and the inside was rare and tasty. We ended with red wine served in glasses. I had no idea that there was such a quiet French restaurant in the heart of Umeda. The food was gentle and easy to eat. Thank you for the feast. I'll definitely come back again!

Amuse served a soup made from clams and gnocchi, with a chewy herb-infused gnocchi that was refreshing. The sakuramasu fish with pistachio sauce was rich and delicious. The red snapper and tomato dish had moist flesh but crispy skin, complemented by a flavorful tomato sauce and gelatinous pork feet. The roasted lamb was tender and tasty, with delicious vegetables on the side. For dessert, there was a yuzu and rosemary ice cream with kumquat sauce, which was a favorite. Overall, the meal was consistently delicious as always. Reservations are now necessary well in advance to dine here. Hello, this is Yuyama. Today, I visited a restaurant that has earned one Michelin star quite early since its opening. The restaurant is located in the basement of a place in Umeda where there are many noisy izakayas. I love French cuisine, so I was looking forward to enjoying French dishes at a reasonable price.
[Food]
Personally, I liked the three amuse-bouche dishes. However, the rest of the dishes didn't leave a lasting impression on me.
[Service]
The service was average. The explanations about the dishes were not very clear.
[Ambiance]
Despite my initial concerns about the location in the basement of a place with noisy izakayas, the interior of the restaurant was cute. It felt like a dining bar, but the tables were a bit small.
I had high expectations for this restaurant as it had high ratings on Tabelog and earned a Michelin star quite early in Osaka. However, I couldn't understand why it received such high praise. I wonder if it has some connections to industry politics like Amakara Techo or the Food Studies Society. It's quite rare to hear about a restaurant earning a Michelin star in its first year of opening at such a low price point for creative cuisine. It may not be suitable for a meal with two men. I would like to visit again during the World Cup season in four years. Thank you.

Hello, this is Yuzan. This is my second visit to the restaurant. The dinner course was about 2000 yen more expensive than last time, but I thought I would be able to enjoy delicious food, so I decided to come back.
[Food] I felt that it wasn't much different from last time. I liked the cute amuse-bouche, but the taste of the other dishes was similar to last time. There was only one type of mini dessert. I wonder what changed with the 2000 yen price increase, as it didn't seem to affect the dishes.
[Service] The service was friendly and frank, just like last time.
[Ambiance] The interior of the restaurant is like a dining bar. With the pairing, it was around 23,000 yen per person. The price has gone up, but the quality of the ingredients and dishes remained the same. I was disappointed because I had high expectations due to the number of reviews, but maybe there was some mistake or it's due to connections.

A casual French restaurant located right near Hankyu Umeda Station, recently featured as a one-star establishment in the "Michelin Guide Kyoto Osaka 2023". The set course is priced at 13,860 yen, with a wine pairing option available for 8,360 yen, making it an affordable choice even for groups of female friends. The menu consists of set courses for both lunch and dinner only. Chef Kenichiro Furukawa combines French culinary techniques with creative ideas, using seasonal ingredients to create dishes that balance surprise and deliciousness through ingredient combinations and skillful spice usage. You can savor each innovative dish alongside a variety of wines available. The pairing drinks include champagne, white and red wines from different regions. The meal starts with amuse-bouche, followed by dishes like snapper tart, gnocchi with fresh mushrooms, black chicken with oyster sauce, herb beef steak, and strawberry dessert with pistachio sauce. The dining experience concludes with a mini chocolate sandwich cookie. Overall, it was a delightful French dining experience.

Nent, a French restaurant in Osaka Umeda that has been awarded one Michelin star, is located just a short walk from Hankyu Umeda Station. Tucked away in a quiet corner of a bustling area, the restaurant welcomes guests with a stylish sign and a serene atmosphere that helps you forget the outside noise. The menu consists of set courses for both lunch and dinner, with a total of 7 dishes from amuse-bouche to dessert. The first photo shows an amuse-bouche of snapping turtle tart and sweet potato French cruller with Ezo deer hamburger, showcasing the chef's creativity and skills. The dishes are prepared using seasonal ingredients, herbs, and spices, resulting in a unique French dining experience that only Nent can offer. The fifth photo features a dish with tender Omi black chicken breast and a generous amount of oyster sauce, a surprising yet harmonious combination. From start to finish, the meal was a delightful experience, and the convenient location just 3 minutes from Umeda Station makes it a great place to enjoy delicious food and wine. I look forward to visiting for lunch next time.

I enjoyed everything from the appetizers to the desserts at Amuse. The use of spices, cooking methods, and ingredient combinations all had a sense of originality, which was great. The wine pairings were also perfectly matched, keeping things interesting. This is a recommended restaurant for those who are sensitive to delicious food and love wine.

This month's meal at Nent was delicious again! Compared to the beginning, there were fewer sharp dishes, but the comforting sweet potato soup was consistently delicious! The tuna tartare was unconditionally tasty, and the grilled mackerel with almond sauce was cooked perfectly! The side dishes were also delicious. The roasted pork shoulder was also tasty, but the side dishes stole the show. As I mentioned before, there may not be any flashy elements, but the reliable deliciousness is always there. The wine I had today was also delicious! I heard that prices will go up from March, but I will definitely be back. Lunch at Nent for the last time this year! It was delicious again today! The Jerusalem artichoke soup was tasty, and the burdock added a nice touch. The scallop and lotus root cake had a great combination of sweet scallops and lotus root cake. I wanted to eat more! The Shinshu salmon confit with walnut butter sauce was amazing! I finished the rest with bread. The roasted Aomori duck from Aomori was sweet, and the sauce was delicious. The dessert with rich persimmons and ginger aroma was also very delicious. Thank you for the wonderful meal. Looking forward to visiting again next year!

I wanted to go to Nento for lunch after a long time and made a reservation. The restaurant opens at exactly 12 o'clock. As usual, I started with a craft beer. It tasted great! The menu for the day included:
- Jerusalem artichoke soup: poured right in front of me, this soup was comforting with a subtle sweetness from the Jerusalem artichoke.
- Scallop and lotus root cake: it was interesting to have lotus root cake in a French style. The scallops were thick and juicy, and the lotus root cake had a unique texture that surprisingly complemented the scallops.
- Confit of Shinshu salmon with walnut butter: the salmon was rare and delicious, topped with Chinese broccoli. The creamy sauce with a hint of walnut flavor was delightful.
- Roasted Land duck breast: the Magret duck breast, raised for foie gras, was quite substantial and a bit tough to cut, but still flavorful.
- Persimmon and ginger fragrance: the balance of sweet persimmon and refreshing ginger was excellent. I was amazed by how sweet persimmons can be and appreciated the combination with ginger.
After the beer, I had a glass of red wine. I enjoyed some sweets and tea while chatting with the owner. It was a delightful and delicious lunchtime experience. Thank you for the meal!
