In the past, there used to be a Lotteria in the Coop Sosia store. It was later replaced by McDonald's, which eventually closed down. While waiting for KFC to open, I decided to buy a shake from the neighboring Lotteria. It brought back nostalgic memories, as I believe the first time I ever had a shake was at Lotteria. The shake was quite delicious and had a strong suction effect when drinking it. They had coffee and vanilla flavors, and I chose the vanilla flavor out of nostalgia. Although I enjoyed it in the car, I feel like the shakes back in the day were even smoother and tastier. It was a quick and satisfying treat.

When it comes to Lotteria, I always go for the shrimp burger. This time, I ordered the limited-time offer with extra shrimp cutlets. When the burger was brought to me, I thought the buns were small, but I couldn't help but laugh when I saw that there were two shrimp cutlets stacked on top of each other, making it quite tall. It was impossible to take a bite that included both the top and bottom at once. As I ate, the shrimp kept falling out, making me chuckle. Despite the small appearance, the burger had a lot of volume due to the two shrimp cutlets. I had to ask my husband for help to finish it. Since it was the 10th of the month, I also got the half-priced fries, which were less salty and easier to eat compared to other fast-food chains.

This is a Lotteria located in Nishijo, Nayoro. There is no Lotteria in Okhotsk, but I used to drink shakes a lot during my university days. Feeling nostalgic, I decided to stop by. I bought a cheeseburger and the cheese chicken nuggets that are currently being offered. It was very crowded and seemed to be popular. When I got home and tried the food, it wasn't exceptionally delicious, but the chicken nuggets are cheap and perfect as a snack with beer. The hamburgers have a different taste compared to McDonald's. I was very satisfied and nostalgic. I don't use it on a daily basis, but it's the kind of place that I might crave and want to eat at from time to time.

The seventh hometown visit is at a shop located inside Seijo Department Store. The shop opened in September 1982 when Seijo relocated to its current location. The exact date of the shop's opening is unknown, but it remains in the same spot despite some changes due to expansion. Before this shop opened, we had to go all the way to Asahikawa for events like club competitions, so visiting this shop was a great pleasure. The shop is flanked by a Kentucky Fried Chicken and a Mister Donut, creating a kind of food court atmosphere. Since I had already eaten at Restaurant Pelican, I opted for an iced coffee (250 yen) and enjoyed it at a nearby table. This shop also accepts T-POINT. The coffee had a bit of a strong bitterness, so I added some gum syrup this time.
