When I got home, I found that the bento contained a fried white fish, tempura chikuwa, kinpira gobou, pickled radish, and seasoned kelp, with just one sheet of seaweed on top of the rice. I was expecting more seaweed based on the name "nori bento." The rice portion was probably around 250g. All the side dishes were delicious, and I almost ran out of rice because they were so good. I stopped by to buy my dinner since I was nearby. I got a 4-piece Karaage Bento for 390 yen with a small size for an additional 20 yen, and also ordered some French fries for 130 yen. There wasn't anything new or special that caught my eye on the menu, so I was thinking of getting the Sukiyaki Bento due to the season, but I decided to go with the Karaage Bento since it had been renewed. The store fries the chicken with flour coating to maintain its juicy texture while giving it a crispy texture, and the sauce made with soy sauce, garlic, and ginger offers a rich flavor that complements the rice well. The menu photo seems to show a darker color compared to before. It was my first time trying the potatoes from this store, and they were thin, crispy, and similar to McDonald's fries, which I enjoyed. It's convenient to pay with a credit card for online reservations. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

I chose the Rosu Tonkatsu Bento as a good luck charm during the Japan Series season. Although it was a simple frozen tonkatsu, the firm breading was quite good, and overall, it was a satisfying experience. It was later discovered that for some reason, Hokka Hokka Tei had removed tonkatsu bento from their menu, so it was appreciated that it was available here. I would like to visit again in the future.

On December 6, 2015, it snowed, and today my family went to a hot spring in Niseko. On our way back home, we decided to stop by a "Hotto Motto" along the way to buy dinner bento boxes. Everyone chose the nori (seaweed) bento box, but I noticed that it had over 600 calories. Since I've been eating too much lately, I opted for the Tanita bento box with 400 calories. I received my bento box within 10 minutes and enjoyed it at home. Despite being only 400 calories, the Tanita bento box was quite filling. The rice was mixed with grains, making it deliciously chewy. The glass noodle seaweed salad was refreshing, and the burdock root salad was creamy with mayonnaise. The white fish and vegetable scrambled eggs had a hint of yuzu flavor, although it wasn't very strong. The soy sauce seasoning was light and perfect, and the dish was packed with plenty of vegetables and fluffy eggs. The white fish was mild and not overpowering. Welcome! There is a big sign along the Takino Park street in Masaichi, Kiyota-ku, with a busy lady preparing around 50 bento boxes. It seems like she's getting ready for a sports festival. Despite being busy, she occasionally changes up the usual bento boxes. I know that you can earn points with an iPhone, but I always struggle with the registration and touch process. Each time I try to follow the instructions, it ends up being a convenient point. While packing bento boxes for a group in a large bag, I also included a small one for children. I thought it was for kids, but it turned out to be a yakiniku combo bento. I quickly hopped on a Tomcar and raced back home with nitro. If you do that, the Tomcar will explode! The trio of beef stir-fry, fried chicken, and korosuke with a bed of cabbage is priced at 390 yen, which is quite reasonable. Oh, I wish it had a new flavor. Well, never mind. The sauce that coats the meat is rich, and the meal goes down smoothly. The fried chicken is tender and each bite is subtly flavorful. Korosuke, when drizzled with the accompanying fry sauce, is a delight. It's sweet for some reason, kid-friendly, and delicious. And the golden rice is tasty too.
