I was really busy too, and just one night after the start of Golden Week, I came to Osaka. I met up with my friend who lives in Osaka at the Sakuramachi subway station. Since we couldn't have drinks at night, we decided to just have lunch together. My selfish request was to have spicy curry, and it was decided. My friend had just gotten his third vaccine shot the day before, so I asked him to judge if he could handle spicy food by looking at the curry photos in the restaurant. We arrived five minutes before the opening of the restaurant, which was located in a slightly old building with snack bars and izakayas. A female waitress handed us the menu and took our order in advance. The interior of the restaurant was very creative and avant-garde, filled with the unique tastes of the owner who created this spicy curry. I had high expectations and my heart was racing. The counter had about 7-8 small seats, perfect for us! I toasted with my favorite craft beer, Minoh Beer, and we had dried shrimp and minced keema curry, as well as black pork belly pork vindaloo. My friend and I both had the same two dishes, and I added coriander for an extra 100 yen. The keema curry had a sharp spice aroma and a balanced spiciness with a hint of saltiness and the umami of the ingredients. The richness of the black pork was complemented by the red onion Moroccan salad and the spice yogurt raita. Mixing them all together was a must to fully appreciate the balance of acidity, spiciness, saltiness, and sweetness. I have never felt the necessity of mixing a curry this much in the past. And when I drank the Minoh Beer, it was such a blissful time. The combination of spices and the bitter hop taste of the beer was so pleasant. I have been to other restaurants that serve spicy curry in the past, but the reason why they have Minoh Beer is not because it's a local product, but because it goes really well with spicy curry. Of course, you can enjoy it even without beer. Osaka, the birthplace of spicy curry? The real deal spicy curry is on another level in Osaka. It varies from restaurant to restaurant, but this place is top-notch. Despite not having to wait for a long time, they still apologized for any inconvenience. The service from the female waitress was exceptional until the end.

I went for lunch! I ordered the recommended 3 types of curry! The recommended three were 1) Keema curry with dried shrimp and ground meat, 2) Pork Vindaloo with black pork belly, and 3) Mapo Keema. Personally, I really liked the Mapo Keema! I haven't been to many spice curry places, but it was really good!

Innovative "W" shop owner Kenji-san was not there, and fallen angel Kaki-san was running the place with a sublease operation called Pachimonia "W." Kaki-san's unique Harmony menu was really interesting. We went a bit late, so Kaki-san's original menu was sold out. It's a Harmony menu, but not typical Harmony - Kaki-san's Pachimonia was delicious!

Collaboration menu between Kenji from Harmonia and Kakkii the fallen angel! Orange wine with craft beer! Two plates for 4000 yen! Wine and beer for 3000 yen! Total of 7000 yen! It may be expensive, but the combination is great! Water with spicy dishes? No way! Orange wine with spicy dishes is a perfect match! It was delicious!

In November 2022, I stopped by a restaurant in Temma for lunch before running errands. As a solo diner, I found two groups already in line when I arrived. The wait time outside was about 10 minutes, and the menu was displayed at the entrance for easy ordering upon entering. The seating options were limited to counter seats facing the kitchen and counter seats with their backs turned. While waiting, I observed various items placed on the tables. After being seated, my order was served in just 4.5 minutes, thanks to the efficient teamwork of the two staff members. I opted for the 2-item combo (black pork belly vindaloo and mapo keema) priced at 1000 yen including tax. The black pork had a great texture and burst with flavor with each bite. The mapo keema, a spicy dish, had a strong kick of spices and was incredibly hot. It had a noticeable bitterness, but that's the essence of spicy curry! The colorful toppings on top of the turmeric rice were a delightful touch – paprika, yam achaar, and what seemed like mango? The assorted vegetables were neatly arranged, creating a vegetable treasure chest of flavors. The bold spiciness combined with the sweet and fresh textures made it truly addictive. Although I don't often visit famous restaurants like this one, I would love to try out other renowned spots in Osaka as well.

This is a curry rice restaurant near JR Temma Station. - Enjoy curry with combinations like mapo tofu, black pork, and beets - Plenty of side dishes to enjoy - Only 6 seats, be prepared for a line We happened to have some child-free time and decided to enjoy some authentic curry, which is usually difficult to do with kids. The restaurant seemed small with only a few seats, making it less child-friendly. We arrived around 2 pm on a Sunday, hoping to avoid the crowds. The aroma outside the restaurant was enticing! Inside, there were only 6 counter seats, with two couples already seated. Luckily, there was an available seat for us. The menu allows you to choose two out of four curry options for 1,000 yen, or you can add a third option for 1,200 yen. I ordered the hand-cut duck and chicken keema curry (+100 yen) and the mapo keema curry. The duck and chicken curry was delicious in a traditional way. The mapo curry had a unique numbing sensation, even though it didn't taste very Chinese. It was a good deal with plenty of ingredients. The Moroccan salad was refreshing with a hint of acidity, making it a great palate cleanser. The yam pickles had a thick texture and added a nice touch when mixed with the curry. The coconut sprinkles were a bit confusing, but the variety of textures made it interesting. The finely chopped salad was a good addition to mix with the curry. My wife ordered the black pork belly vindaloo and the beet Kashmir chili dhal. The black pork belly curry had a sweet and slightly sour taste with a hint of clove. The beet curry had a prominent beet flavor and a nice texture from the beans. The popping sensation when the beans burst was surprising and added a spicy kick. This was the most unique dish with a twist. The curry here offers a different taste with each bite, making it complex and enjoyable. Unlike famous curry places like "Dairyu" or "Maruse," which have a straightforward complexity, this place offers a variety of flavors to explore. I also enjoyed the unique curry at "Mouyan Curry" in Nagoya. "Shunko Kara" in Nishinakajima-Minamigata pursues luxury, while "Shinkikyoku Curry" offers innovative curry rice options. I look forward to trying more new curry dishes in the future! Thank you for the meal.

Located in a mixed-use building just behind Temmabashi Station, this curry restaurant offers three basic curry options along with two daily specials. This time, I opted for the three curry combo, choosing the dried shrimp keema, pork vindaloo, and the daily special cold Tom Yum Kung curry. I mixed in the grated yam, vegetable pickles, and chopped salad. The most impressive dish was definitely the cold Tom Yum Kung curry, with its spicy and refreshing taste perfect for the summer season. I finished it all in no time.

I felt like eating Pork Vindaloo, so I went to have some. This restaurant always has it on the menu, so you can enjoy it anytime. I could have just ordered one dish, but I've gotten used to having a variety of flavors, so I ordered three dishes. I got the ABD combo with extra rice. The curry was delicious as always, but my favorite was the side dish of crunchy yam. The D dish of the day was a beetroot dal with a sweet vegetable flavor that was really tasty. I left feeling full and satisfied. Thank you for the meal!

I heard that there is a unique 3-kind mixed spice curry at Spice Curry Harmonia in Temma, where you can enjoy different flavors while mixing. Their most popular dish is the 3-kind mixed curry for 1,200 yen, and they also offer a 2-kind combination for 1,000 yen, as well as options to choose 1 or 2 curries from a selection. The restaurant is located in a small alley behind JR Temma Station, just a short walk from Ogimachi Subway Station. Nearby, you can find the Chinese restaurant Koryu Tenjinro and The Pasta and Grills. The restaurant is on the first floor of a multi-tenant building, decorated with colorful miscellaneous goods and original merchandise, creating a chaotic yet charming atmosphere typical of a spice curry restaurant. The interior is smaller than expected, with only 8 seats in total - 3 seats along the wall and 5 seats at the counter facing the kitchen, each separated by acrylic panels. I ordered the most popular dish, the ABC 3-kind mixed curry for 1,200 yen. The colorful presentation was impressive, with turmeric rice surrounded by basic curries A and B, Moroccan salad, red core radish, vegetable salad, and Sichuan-style minced meat curry C. The flavors of the curries were rich and unique, with each one offering a different taste experience. Curry A, made with minced meat and dried shrimp, had a strong umami flavor with a hint of shrimp aroma. Curry B, featuring black pork belly, had a sweet and sour taste with a tender texture. Curry C, the Sichuan-style minced meat curry, had a bold and spicy flavor with a numbing sensation from the Sichuan peppercorns. Each curry was delicious in its own way, and the combination of flavors was excellent.

It's a small shop with only a counter. There's an acrylic board between the seats, but the space is narrow and conversations can be heard. You serve your own water. Today, they only had dried shrimp and minced keema curry, and black pork belly pork vindaloo left, so I ordered 80% of those two. The two side dishes were curry-flavored nagaimo (Chinese yam) and some dried food that I couldn't identify. The salad dressing was yogurt. I tried the dried shrimp curry first. It was a bit salty but delicious. The pork vindaloo was even better. I'm not good with spicy food, but the spiciness was just right and enjoyable. It was so delicious that I finished it quickly. It was a bit small, though. I could have eaten a regular size. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Three kinds of curry ABC for 1200 yen. Unfortunately, curry A with dried shrimp and mixed ground spices was sold out, so I chose curries B and C, along with shrimp and eggplant green curry. It's been a while since I've been to such a deliciously spicy restaurant. The yam pickle was excellent. I can only visit when I go back home, but I want to revisit!

ABC 3 kinds of curry. A is a dry shrimp and minced keema curry, B is black pork belly pork vindaloo, and C is mapo keema. The eating and mixing order is written, so start with that. My preference was B → C → A. When mixed, it becomes a completely different curry. Personally, I found it delicious when eaten without mixing. It's not very spicy and easy to eat. However, the tables inside the restaurant are narrow, making it quite cramped and difficult to eat when it's crowded. Thank you for the meal.

This is a popular curry restaurant in Temma. I had to work in Temma on Saturday, so I searched around and found this place. I arrived 10 minutes before opening time. There were 3 people lined up in front of the store, so I joined the line. By the time the store opened, there were 9 people in line. When I entered the store, it had a funky vibe with colorful T-shirts and lots of CDs. They handed me the menu and took my order while I was waiting in line. The menu had 3 basic curry options, and you could choose a 2-curry or 3-curry set. I decided to go with the 3-curry set because I wanted to try them all. The set included: - Dried shrimp and ground meat Keema curry - Black pork belly Pork Vindaloo - Mapo Keema curry I had seen pictures of the curry on social media, and it looked just like that when it arrived (of course, haha). The three curries and side dishes were arranged around a mound of turmeric rice in the center. The dried shrimp and ground meat Keema curry was subtle but had a nice shrimp flavor combined with the savory taste of the ground meat. The black pork belly Pork Vindaloo was a bit too sour for my taste, with the acidity overpowering the meaty flavor. The Mapo Keema curry was quite rich in flavor, with a noticeable kick of Sichuan pepper. When I mixed them all together midway through the meal, it was the most delicious. Mixing the curries balanced out their individual shortcomings and turned them into strengths. Overall, I enjoyed the curry at this popular restaurant. By the time I left, the line outside had grown even longer. I was glad I lined up before the store opened. Thank you for the meal!

After a long time, I tried the spice curry at Harmonia on a Sunday. I walked from Umeda and when I arrived at 11:30, there was already a line of 5 people. The staff handed me the menu and took my order smoothly. The interior of the restaurant is a bit narrow, but they had baskets and instructions on how to eat the curry and use PayPay at each table, which I found very helpful. The music playing in the background was nice too. Before I knew it, my curry arrived and it was quite substantial. I tried both curry options, and personally, I found curry a and b to be delicious. The pork in curry b was well-presented, and the flavor changed when mixed. It was a great way to get your veggies in too, and the presentation was top-notch. I was nothing but happy. I paid with PayPay and when I left the restaurant, the rain had stopped. I definitely want to come back! Thank you for the meal.

First visit to a curry restaurant I've been curious about for a while. I was so eager to eat that I ended up lining up 10 minutes early. No wait time. I ordered a combination of two types of curry. The curry seemed to use a lot of spices, but it was easy to eat and satisfying. It's a potential candidate for the next top 100 restaurants.

In 2022, I prioritized visiting a restaurant that I have been curious about but haven't been to yet. I was excited to encounter new flavors. So, I visited Spice Curry Harmonia, which is located less than a 5-minute walk from Osakako Station Exit 1. When I arrived at the restaurant, there was a wait for one person. I got in after about 15 minutes. Since it was my first time there, I decided to try everything - 3 types of curry with optional toppings and a special curry, all for 1700 yen. The dish was beautifully colorful! The flavors were enjoyable and the presentation was appealing. A - The umami of the shrimp balanced well with the ground meat. B - The rich flavor of the pork with a strong acidity added depth to the dish. C - The moderate spiciness of the Sichuan pepper was just right. D - The seafood broth was rich and delicious. There were plenty of side dishes, so as I mixed and ate each curry, I found myself running out of rice. I ended up adding an extra serving of rice (^^;) When I mixed the mint and basil Genovese with the Pork Vindaloo, the fruity flavor enhanced the experience. I enjoyed the various flavor changes and finished the meal feeling full and satisfied! Thank you for the delicious meal! (*^^*)

Met with a friend and revisited the restaurant today. Had the three kinds of appetizers again. My favorite is the mapo keema. After eating, I feel my body and mind becoming clearer, feeling the power of the spices. It's a place where I want to come regularly to get energized when I'm tired. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant at the opening time of 2021.12, which was written as 1:00 PM, so I came back at 12:50. I was able to enter in the first round without waiting in line. I ordered a 3-item platter for 1200 yen: A - dried shrimp and minced meat keema curry, B - black pork belly pork vindaloo, C - mapo keema. The dried shrimp was plump and delicious. The pork belly was spicy and sour. The pork belly was firm. The yam achar was good. The red one is pomegranate? The yogurt raita had a slight sourness. Thank you for the meal.

I went to the very popular curry restaurant "Spice Curry Harmonia" near JR Temma Station. It is located on the first floor of a mixed-use building. I hesitated to go in at first, but mustered up the courage and went inside. I wanted to try various curries, so I ordered the "Mini Curry 3 Types Platter" (900 yen). It included minced dried shrimp and keema, black pork belly vindaloo, and mapo keema. However, on that day, the minced lamb ribs keema was served instead of the dried shrimp and keema. Personally, I preferred it that way. The platter included turmeric rice in the center, surrounded by mapo keema, dried shrimp, lamb ribs keema, Moroccan-style Moroccan salad, black pork belly vindaloo, yam pickle, raita (yogurt), and salad. It was very spicy and delicious!

I finished my business at the training center before 3 pm. Since this restaurant has a late last order time on weekends, I decided to stop by. Even at this time, there were four customers in the shop. They didn't run out of anything, so I ordered the recommended three-item plate for 1200 yen including tax. After a short wait, the plate arrived. I couldn't see the process of making it from my seat, but it was packed with colorful ingredients and made me happy. I followed the instructions on how to eat it while enjoying the meal. It's not often that I hesitate to eat a curry like this because it's so hot!! That alone made me like it even more. Each dish had a strong spice flavor and a rich taste, especially the pork vindaloo and the crunchy yam achar were my favorites. The staff at the restaurant were also very friendly. If I have the opportunity to visit the training center again, I would like to revisit this restaurant.
