Having lunch in Hong Kong. It's located in a residential area, but not along a main road or in a big plot, so you have to aim for this place to get there. Like in Dragon Quest. But people come in because it must be delicious. It's renovated from a residential area. Inside, there are two 4-person table seats and about 4 tatami rooms in the back. Surprisingly spacious. The variety is surprisingly wide and authentic. I ordered Chinese rice. It's huge. Nice volume. Lots of ingredients. The seasoning is good too. It's even more mysterious that it's located in this place. But that might be a good thing. It can become a local treasure. Thank you for the meal.

This place seems to have a demand for it♪ Something I want nearby. This kind of shop (๑′ᴗ‵๑) It's close to Higashi-Kubetsu Station, maybe if you take the train and walk, but if you go by car, the access might be from the opposite side of the station? From Hakodate towards the sea on Route 228 towards Kikonai, turn right at the next traffic light after the T-junction with Yamato Transport and Toyota. Cross the railroad crossing, turn left at the traffic light. If you pass the egg vending machine on the right, you'll see the store sign, so turn left. Just go straight ahead to the dead end. But nowadays, you can find it with a map app, right (｡>∀<｡) There seems to be parking space for about 5 or 6 cars in front and next to the store. When you enter, there are 2 tables on the right, a kitchen at the back, private rooms on the left, and several tables on the raised floor at the back. The menu is quite extensive. They also have alcohol, so having gyoza with beer, I envy the neighbors! I ordered the mapo tofu set meal. I ordered it with a bit of spiciness, but it was sweeter than I expected. Maybe it's just right for families with children? I felt more sweetness than spiciness. Maybe because it's miso-based? But it had a lot of meat. Or rather, it was all generous! The portion was too much. It's recommended for kids who have a big appetite☆ The gyoza sauce was not soy vinegar, but had a unique taste and was very delicious~♪ They also had seasonal limited-time menu items like tomato shumai and scallop with miso sauce. This place is probably a branch of a shop located in Kashiwagi-cho (Gakuen-dori). The location is quite hard to find and you might wonder how they manage to operate in such a place. First, turn right on National Route 227, then turn left at the intersection in front of Kaiken and keep going until you see a sign on your right, then turn left. It's located right in the middle of a residential area. Probably a shop combined with a home. They offer affordable lunch options and surprisingly, despite the location, it seems to attract quite a few customers, including office workers in suits. The staff and chefs all seem young. They have a one-coin lunch option but I tried the 790 yen lunch set with Mapo Tofu and Half-fried Rice. The Mapo Tofu had a miso flavor with mild spiciness. The seasoning was strong and went well with the white rice. The portion of white rice was quite generous. The soup was clear broth. The Half-fried Rice set had a surprisingly large portion. It was slightly dry in texture. I ordered the salt ramen, which had a rich Paitan soup that was a bit too heavy for my taste. This shop seems to specialize in Champon, so maybe that's why the soup is popular. There was a Bumbun Club sticker, and when I asked about it, they mentioned a drink service, which I received. They also seem to be busy with delivery and bento orders.
