I have been living in Iwamizawa for a few years and had always been curious about this restaurant that many people recommended. I finally decided to visit and was not disappointed. The interior of the restaurant mainly consists of a counter with only two table seats. It was a weekday, so there was only one gentleman sitting at the counter. I ordered a draft beer and soon received a serving of edamame as a complimentary appetizer. Shortly after, the second appetizer, horse mackerel sashimi, arrived. The lady recommended the horse mackerel, and it was delicious and quite large in size. It was as big as a hokke fish and had a rich flavor. I also ordered the rolled omelette, which was also tasty. I mentioned that I wanted to eat rice, and they kindly brought out rice balls as a service. As the name suggests, this restaurant mainly focuses on seafood, and both the food and service were excellent. I will definitely visit this place again.
