It's been a long time since I visited this clock tower restaurant, over 10 years. This is a chain restaurant, famous for being visited by a former prime minister from the Social Democratic Party in the past (the prime minister visited the Sapporo branch). Not many restaurants were open during New Year, so it was quite crowded. I ordered the original miso ramen for 860 yen, which may seem a bit expensive. It had vegetables like cabbage in it, not as much as I remembered though. The miso soup tasted just like I remembered. It seems like each branch has its own original menu and sets, even though it is a chain restaurant, giving each location a lot of autonomy.

In the midst of all the commotion about the coronavirus, I am currently on a business trip in Hokkaido! Today, in mid-April, it is snowing in Nayoro City where I am having lunch. I spotted a ramen chain near a pachinko parlor and decided to check it out. The restaurant was surprisingly spacious and clean, leaving a good impression. I ordered the "Original Motsu Negi Ramen (950 yen)" and soon enough, a bowl arrived filled with bean sprouts, sautéed onions, and spicy miso ramen topped with chewy offal - it was delicious! I wasn't expecting much, so it was even more enjoyable. The broth was oily and piping hot until the last bite, and the medium-thick curly noodles were satisfying. Plus, there was a 50 yen discount, making it even more of a deal. Thank you for the meal!

Ordered miso ramen with fried rice set and spicy ramen. The spicy ramen is not actually spicy at all (lol), but I like the strong punch of oil in it so I order it every time. I always add extra chili peppers to it when eating. The miso ramen that my companion ordered was average in a good or bad way, it was just okay... I don't feel like ordering it again (sorry). The fried rice had inconsistent flavor, surprisingly bland. Very disappointing. I won't be ordering it again. I recommend the spicy ramen. It's just not spicy (lol).

It's so hot that I feel like eating hot ramen, is that a sickness? Anyway, I had a craving for ramen so I went to Ajinotokidoki for their soy sauce ramen with extra green onions on top! It was delicious. The firm noodles here go perfectly with the white leeks, a great choice! Once I finished the noodles and toppings, I added a spoonful of garlic for an extra stamina boost! The stamina ramen is amazing! The atmosphere inside the restaurant is clean and the cool air conditioning feels nice. The service is efficient and overall it's a reliable ramen shop!

I love ramen! I go to various places, but my favorite dish at this restaurant is the "motsu nira ramen". The miso-flavored soup is rich, sweet, and thick, and it's delicious. It's not spicy, so even kids can enjoy it (just be careful with the salt content). The chewy motsu adds a nice texture, and the fresh nira softens nicely in the soup. Sometimes they may substitute nira with leeks, which is also tasty but I prefer nira. The combination of motsu and nira is smelly but delicious! The noodles are a bit rubbery though. The fried rice here is also delicious, and they have a kids' menu too. The atmosphere is typical of a ramen shop, with seating for 2-6 people, counter seats, and even raised seating areas. The clientele is mainly older men in suits or work clothes, but families also come here. The energetic calls from the kitchen staff add to the lively atmosphere. When paying, they let kids choose a piece of candy. Fast, cheap, and tasty - I recommend the "motsu nira" ramen!

In Hokkaido, this type of restaurant can be found anywhere, which shows how popular its taste is. However, like many chain restaurants, there can be hits and misses. In my opinion, this one is somewhere in the middle. While the basic flavors are probably the same, the cooking style or the concept of this particular restaurant seems to result in a strangely oily taste. It feels like they used too much oil when frying the vegetables. Perhaps this level of oiliness is popular in this region. The restaurant was quite busy, probably due to the time of day. I don't dislike the base flavor, but I don't think I'll be returning to this place. Thank you for the meal.
