On 2021/02/01, I tried the Wasabi Salt Ramen by Sekoma Co., Ltd. and Acecook Co., Ltd. It costs ¥118 and it definitely makes your nose tingle! I knew that beforehand, but since the tingle was described as "intense," I had to try it for myself. So, I bought two and gave it a taste. This cup ramen was produced by Sekoma Co., Ltd. for Acecook Co., Ltd., and if you don't have a Seicomart nearby, you won't be able to taste this unique cup ramen. I poured hot water into the cup, opened the ramen soup packet, prepared some chopped green onions and homemade chashu as toppings, and added my homemade fish oil. Voila! Wow, there were too many toppings... I also used the wrong bowl size, oops! Let's dig in. Nose tingle... it's happening every time I slurp the noodles. The wasabi kick is perfect for those who enjoy that kind of spicy sensation. But if you have weak lungs or throat, I wouldn't recommend it. Personally, I choked a few times and shed a lot of tears while eating it, haha. Thanks for the meal!

I have been going to this restaurant recently because I saw it from the streetcar and was curious. There were table wipes available on the second floor for customers to clean up after themselves. I wonder if they do regular checks? The trash cans are never overflowing. I thought the staff would take care of it when I bought something, so they charged me at an 8% tax rate, but when I said I preferred a sticker because I was going to eat upstairs, they had to redo the transaction at a 10% tax rate for dining in. It's a hassle. That's probably why there are empty seats on the second floor.

I had curry at Miyoshi, played games in Susukino, and took a walk to Sekoma. Sekoma has a large self-service dining area on the second floor, so I decided to have some dumplings there before heading back to my accommodation. I also bought melon jelly to have as dessert the next day. The melon jelly was overwhelmingly melon-flavored, almost too much (but in a good way). I received the wasabi soy sauce snack at home, and it was incredibly spicy - almost like a punishment. I thought the spiciness would lessen if I left it for a day, but it remained just as spicy. After eating dumplings and taking a break, I headed back to my accommodation. In late May 2017, I visited for snacks. Yummy! Yummy!【On the 2nd floor】Relaxing.

When you open the pork soy sauce lid, you find a rich pork bone broth. After letting it sit for 3 minutes, the steam reveals a gentle pork flavor with a hint of seafood. The soy sauce has a rounded flavor that pairs well with white rice. The tempura chicken and spicy pork tempura mix well with the rice. The chicken white broth ramen has a slightly thick, cloudy soup with a good chicken broth flavor. The cloudy soup adds a soft saltiness to the dish, perfect for a chilly night without heating.

Welcome.---------- July 2016 ----------The flavor of red pepper and bonito creates a spicy and refreshing Japanese taste with a kick of spicy red pepper. The Chashu Onigiri has the savory taste of Chashu infused in the rice.------------- Ya ---- Ma ---- O ---- Ri -------------------------- November 2015 ----------At the tram stop "Yamabana 9-jo," there is a Sekomatomu on the corner where it feels like the most welcoming place. You can eat hot chef dishes and bentos on the 2nd floor, where the wine is cheap and delicious, but you can't drink on the 2nd floor. There aren't many noisy customers and it's mostly individuals. It's really open 24 hours and seems to have homeless people around... Chanpon is unfamiliar, but it's nice to eat it occasionally. There is still something missing, perhaps the tonkotsu soup lacks depth. It's nice to have lots of vegetables, but the noodles are soft. That's just how Nagasaki specialty dishes are, so I can't say anything. I prefer the crispy texture of plate udon. Come to think of it, I've never tried the "Katsudon." Thank you for the meal.

Seicomart is a long-established convenience store in Hokkaido! They offer many private label products that you can only find here, making it a great place to buy souvenirs. The cup noodles, curry ramen, and yakisoba are delicious! I recommend the dried snack "smoked pepper flavor". In the deli corner, they have onigiri zangi, cooked bread, fish, and lamb meat for Genghis Khan as well.

2013 #Extra Edition 40 Once again, the syndrome of craving cold noodles in the middle of the night has struck. With three different types of cold noodles to choose from, it can be a bit overwhelming. But when in doubt, keep it simple! Recently, I've started enjoying cucumbers, which has made the presentation of the dish much easier. I love this dish so much! I finished it in just 3 minutes, but it wasn't enough. So, I ended up also eating curry with pork cutlet. Note: The curry with pork cutlet doesn't fall into the drink category, so please be aware of that. 2013 #Extra Edition 29 Once again, the craving for cold noodles in the middle of the night has hit me. This time, I decided to try a new dish with cute cherry tomatoes as toppings. I've recently started enjoying cucumbers, which is quite a surprise. The dish had a classic cold noodle flavor with soy sauce and a touch of black vinegar. It was delicious and only cost 450 yen. I'm satisfied with this meal from Seicomart! 2012 #Extra Edition I'm getting a bit tired of this, but oh well. Oh, there's pickled vegetables instead of cucumbers in this one! That makes the presentation easier. The dish had a crunchy texture from the vegetables and a nice flavor with sesame sweetness and spicy chili oil. It only cost 380 yen, which is a great price! 2012 #Extra Edition I found another interesting dish. For 278 yen, I wondered how authentic the dipping sauce would be. The dish was well thought out, even down to the noodles. I heated up the dipping sauce in the microwave, and it turned out to be surprisingly delicious. It's better than trying strange dipping noodles. So, the extra editions continue... 2012 #Extra Edition The extra editions keep coming. In Hokkaido, there's a convenience store chain that is rapidly expanding. Yes, it's Seicomart. For only 350 yen, you can enjoy a variety of toppings and a decent amount of noodles. I don't add cucumbers, but for just 350 yen, you can enjoy a basic cold noodle dish. Highly recommended!

On the evening before, I thawed out some Hokkaido pork leg meat that I had bought a few days ago and stored in the freezer, and tried making chashu using a pressure cooker. Since it's leg meat, I thought it might be best not to simmer it too much... but I also wanted to see the power of the pressure cooker that I had just bought ( ・∇・) First, I seared the surface in a frying pan. Then, I cooked it in a mixture of soy sauce, mirin, sake (1:1:1 ratio), 0.5 parts of carbonated water, and 1 tablespoon of honey, along with the green part of leeks and ginger & garlic. The taste turned out good, but the meat ended up a bit dry (^_^;) And then the next evening, I prepared 2 packs of Sapporo Ichiban miso ramen that I bought at Seicomart. I cut the cabbage into rough pieces, sliced the pork leg chashu that I made the day before, and lightly blanched the cabbage. Once the noodles were cooked, I plated them, topped with chashu, crushed red pepper, and sprinkled with white sesame seeds. Ta-da~! ( ^罒^ )v It looks pretty amazing♡ The pork leg chashu seemed to have become less dry after resting overnight. Let's dig in. Ah~♪♩♬ This cheap and flavorful miso broth really makes you feel like you're eating Sapporo Ichiban miso ramen~☆d(´∀`*) And these thin, curly, seemingly unreliable noodles are surprisingly delicious~♡ The pork leg chashu was still a bit dry (T^T) In conclusion, it seems that pork leg meat is best just seared. Thank you for the meal ( ̄^ ̄ゞ).

On October 9, 2021, at Sunyo Food Co., Ltd., I bought Sapporo Ichiban Salt Ramen for ¥111 per pack (excluding tax). For some reason, this type of series is often only sold in packs of 5, but thankfully, Seikoma sells them individually, which is very convenient. So, I purchased 2 packs of Sapporo Ichiban Salt Ramen, which ranks high in my instant noodle ranking. While boiling the noodles, I cut my homemade pork belly chashu. I also added green onions and real crab sticks as toppings. Ta-da! This sesame is an essential ingredient, and the crab sticks add a nice touch of color. Let's dig in! Everyone knows the harmony created by the chicken extract and savory flavor of Sapporo Ichiban Salt Ramen. The noodles, despite being thin and curly, are surprisingly delicious. As for the homemade pork belly chashu and crab sticks, there's no need to explain further. I just love Sapporo Ichiban Salt Ramen. It was a delicious meal.

On 2021/10/02, I decided to create my own fusion dish by combining Nissin Cup Noodles Chili Tomato Noodle and Spicy Noodles that are already being sold at Seicomart. I prepared them as usual by pouring hot water and waiting for 3 minutes. In the meantime, I chopped my homemade chashu and Mitsuba, then transferred both noodles into a bowl and mixed them together. I garnished with the toppings and voilà! It looks pretty delicious, doesn't it? The Chili Tomato Noodle itself has a slightly spicy taste, and when combined with the spiciness and garlic flavor of the Spicy Noodles, it creates an incredibly tasty soup. The noodles are the typical thin wavy type you find in Cup Noodles, which goes perfectly well with the soup. The spiciness also transfers well to the chashu, making me sweat profusely while eating. If you're looking to pair something with Chili Tomato Noodles, I recommend the Spicy Noodles over curry. Bon appétit!

◉2021/02/12/FRI #037 ★Nissin Foods Co., Ltd. @Cup Noodles Chili Tomato Noodles Big ¥220This is my favorite cup noodle of all time. Among Nissin's cup noodles, the Chili Tomato Noodles are hands down my top choice. I love them so much that I always have them stocked in my food storage shelf, and I feel anxious when I run out of them. This time, I decided to make a small twist by adding some ingredients and my homemade Aglio e Olio sauce! I used baby leaf lettuce, tomato slices, homemade simmered pork, finely chopped onions, and garlic slices. After pouring hot water into the cup noodles, I heated olive oil on low heat, sautéed the garlic slices until they were fragrant but not burnt, then mixed in some basil powder. I topped the noodles with the other ingredients, drizzled my homemade Aglio e Olio sauce over them, and it was ready to enjoy! The aroma of the Chili Tomato Noodles' consommé-like soup combined with the garlic flavor of my homemade sauce is irresistible. Although the sizes of the tomatoes and simmered pork ended up a bit mismatched, the taste is still delightful. The noodles' cheap curly texture, combined with the fragrant garlic, creates an exquisite experience with each slurp. The combination of the homemade simmered pork and tomato slices worked well, adding a hint of healthiness with the baby leaf lettuce and onions as toppings. Next time, I plan to try it with some blue cheese flavored baby cheese. Bon appétit!

On January 4, 2021, Secoma released a cup ramen called "Kamo Dashi Ramen" for 110 yen. I tried it out. Upon further research, I found out that Yamadai Co., Ltd., known for their New Touch Suge Men series, is actually manufacturing this product under the request of Seicomart. This raised my expectations. I decided to get a little creative and eat it like tsukemen style. First, I took out the noodles from two cup ramen and boiled them separately. In the meantime, I prepared my own toppings with homemade chashu, green onions, and radish sprouts. I also used the dried seaweed and chopped seaweed that came with a cup ramen I had previously eaten, along with a little bit of red pepper, for garnish. Voila! The cooking time for the noodles was 4 minutes, and I used 1.5 servings of the liquid soup to make it slightly thicker. Isn't it looking good? As expected! The noodles from Yamadai, known for creating New Touch Suge Men, maintain a great texture even after boiling, and they taste delicious on their own. The dipping sauce has a slightly sweet fish broth flavor, but you can still taste the duck flavor when you slurp the noodles. I don't need to explain the homemade chashu, right? I also tried diluting the soup with the noodle cooking water, and it turned out quite tasty. This cup ramen is actually pretty good. However, I wonder why this product is not listed on Secoma's or Yamadai's websites. Thank you for the meal!

I usually refrain from writing reviews about convenience stores, but I am very grateful for the help I received due to the earthquake. The store was dimly lit with no lighting inside, and the products were quite scarce. I was impressed that there were items available at the POS that could be used even during a power outage. However, there was only one register, so there was a line of about 50 people. Due to the power outage, the ice cream products were melting, and a store employee said, "Please take them for free." I also received some while shopping. I don't usually use convenience stores, but I stopped by a few during the earthquake. In many convenience stores, even though it is known that refrigerated and frozen products will deteriorate during a power outage, I did not see any being distributed for free. Even though they will be discarded anyway, in a world where food is scarce, I saw a supermarket chain lining up products that had gone bad and putting up signs saying "Not for sale." It's ridiculous. At a time of emergency, the fundamental way of thinking is wrong. Japan was not supposed to be like this. I also saw individual food and beverage shops offering curry and other dishes for around 300 yen per meal. To the executives of large companies! Please think a little more. If you were worried about your home Wi-Fi not recovering, it seems that communication companies like Docomo are offering unlimited usage without communication restrictions this month.
