I visited Asakusa with my girlfriend and decided to drop by this restaurant. We were quickly shown to our seats. For the first dish, I tried to grill it myself, but as a beginner at monjayaki, I had no idea how to do it and dumped all the ingredients in at once (laughs). However, as I mixed it up, it started to look pretty good and I enjoyed it. For the second dish, I had the staff grill it for me, and their skills were definitely professional. Grilling the pork kimchi monjayaki as a beginner could have led to a disaster, so I was really glad I left it to the staff. I finished both dishes, including the crispy bits, and was completely satisfied.

It was Saturday night, but we were able to get in easily! The staff cooked the monjayaki for us, and they brought the finished okonomiyaki to our table on a hot grill, which made it very convenient. Overall, it was reasonably priced and delicious! The restaurant is located in the center of Asakusa, making it easily accessible.

I was craving monjayaki and was torn between Tsukishima and Asakusa, but I ended up choosing Asakusa. All the restaurants were bustling with activity, and though we had to wait, the line was relatively short at this particular place. I ordered monjayaki, and they cooked it all for us. However, I personally prefer the crispy edges, or "okoge," but when they announced that it was ready, it was still soft and there was no okoge. As I ate, some okoge started to form. The flavor was typical for monjayaki—nothing particularly special, but it was definitely tasty. They also had a good variety of drinks, including some original cocktails. Additionally, it was nice that we could store our bags under the chairs, which helped to avoid any unpleasant odors.

This was a restaurant that made delicious monjayaki. We went there to celebrate a special occasion, and my boyfriend was really happy! He had always said he didn’t like flour-based dishes, but it seems he really enjoyed the mentai monjayaki. I owe that to this restaurant. Thank you! I will definitely come again!

I went sightseeing in Asakusa, and my main goal was to eat monjayaki. Since there was no line compared to other places, we decided to sit down at this restaurant. We ordered the mentai cheese mochi and pork okonomiyaki. It turns out there’s a rule of 1 drink + 1 food per person. For us with bigger appetites, that’s not a problem. However, it seemed unrealistic for the high school girls, as sharing a monjayaki between two people is more than enough. They listened to the explanation and then left. It’s clear that, unlike tourist areas in other regions, places in Tokyo have a more business-oriented attitude.

On Saturday night in Asakusa, I wanted to eat monjayaki, but everywhere was packed. By chance, this place wasn't crowded, so we decided to give it a try. It's hard to find a place with bad monjayaki, so we ordered some beer and snacks to start. They told us we had to order one dish per person first, and although I asked if we could order later, they insisted it was the rule. So, we ordered the monjayaki right away. I had been tempted by the sight of the yakisoba noodles being boiled and decided to try them, which turned out to be the best choice. The monjayaki was a bit on the mild side, but adding some sauce made it just right.

I visited this restaurant while sightseeing in Asakusa. It was very crowded due to the New Year's holiday, and there was a lively atmosphere. I recommend checking the usage rules carefully before entering. Each person is required to order one item, there is a mandatory cover charge, and special fees apply, so you might incur many costs just by entering. The overall menu prices are on the high side, so it would be wise to compare with other restaurants before deciding.

I visited the restaurant since it was not very crowded. The menu prices seem generally aimed at tourists, which may be the case for other nearby establishments as well. There is a seating fee of 1,000 yen per person, and a one-food-order policy per person; if no food is ordered, a fee of 500 yen is charged. They cook both monjayaki and okonomiyaki for you. If you set aside the prices, the taste is quite delicious.

I visited for Saturday lunch and had to wait for one group before being seated. Upon entering, we were informed of a one-item, one-drink policy per person. I ordered mentai cheese monjayaki, dagashi monjayaki (with ingredients that seemed to include just cabbage and baby star snacks), and pork tempura. All drinks were priced at 410 yen, so I opted for oolong tea. Water was self-service. We started with a tofu appetizer (250 yen). The dagashi monjayaki arrived first, and a staff member grilled it for us. However, we were told that for the other monjayaki, we would have to grill it ourselves, which I managed to do after asking for some tips. The okonomiyaki was grilled and brought to our table. It was small but decent and tasty. The monjayaki appeared to be on the smaller side as well, but it was great to have the staff help with grilling, and it was fun to experience cooking it ourselves. The restaurant is new and very clean. I wanted to enjoy monjayaki in Asakusa, and it turned out to be a pleasant memory.

The monjayaki was very delicious! The temperature of the hotplate was a bit tricky, but the flavor was fantastic, especially the mochi cheese mentaiko monjayaki—it was the best! It's definitely a must to order one dish and one drink per person!

Unlike the salty monjayaki of the past, this restaurant offers a flavorful, lightly seasoned version that is rich in dashi (Japanese soup stock). It opened in November 2023, and while it's not as crowded as other nearby places, I believe it has great potential and skill.

The monjayaki was delicious. Although the portion was slightly smaller, I was overall satisfied.
