Actually, this is my second visit to this place, but the first time I couldn't buy anything. Even though it was a business day, the shop was closed. I visited based on the address alone, but it was just a normal residential house, not at all like a bakery. I was expecting some kind of sign to indicate the shop, but I couldn't find anything, so I kept circling the area but couldn't find any store that looked like it. I had to call to confirm and found out it was closed, so I couldn't even confirm the location of the shop and had to go home. This time, I made sure it was open before visiting again. Just like last time, I set out based on the address alone and approached a house that seemed like the shop, but I still couldn't see any sign indicating it was a bakery. However, upon closer inspection, I found a small sign about 30cm wide hanging at the entrance. "Oh, this is it!" Finally, I found it, parked my car next to the shop, and entered through the front door. Inside, there was just a normal home, with bread displayed on shelves and a small table near the entrance. The breads were all small and cute, but there was also a 20cm diameter baguette. The female shop owner asked if I was the one who called, and I confirmed. This was my second visit, and when I told her about my previous visit, she was very happy. When I mentioned that I found out about this place through a shop in Urakawa's blog, she said, "Oh, I'm from Urakawa. Did you know about Panpakapan, Cafe Ash, or Nekoya Shokudo? Oh, Nekoya Shokudo is my classmate." What a small world, it's all connected to my favorite shops. It was such a fun day.
Back at home, I first tried the Negi Pan, and it was delicious. I warmed it up in the microwave, and the flavor of the green onions was really tasty, like a pizza bread with green onions. The Melon Pan had the typical texture and taste, and the Cream Cheese Pan would be great for those who don't like sweet bread. The Bean Paste Pan had sweet red bean paste inside, with just the right amount of sweetness, and the Sugar Bread was more like a sweet treat than bread, perfect with strong coffee. All the breads were reasonably priced and had a friendly taste. This shop doesn't have typical bakery signs or decorations, and the only clue is the small sign that indicates the selling hours, so be careful when visiting.
