Before going shopping at Temma Market, I stopped by This Noodle Shop, Tenshiro, which I had been curious about. It is located on a main street heading north from JR Temma Station towards Ogimachi Park, past the JR tracks on the right side.

After finishing a meeting in Temma, I was thinking about where to eat. My first choice led me here. I visited the restaurant and purchased "Ramen 850 yen" from the ticket machine on the right side. The soup here is a combination of pork bone, chicken bone, and seafood. I really enjoy the taste of this soup and come here regularly. It's been a while since I last visited, and I was surprised by the price of the ramen being 850 yen. The default toppings are quite simple, but considering the current situation, it's actually quite cheap. The chashu has a satisfying thickness and is tender. The noodles are also a well-thought-out choice that mixes well with the soup. The taste is just as good as I remember, and I will definitely be coming back regularly. Thank you for the meal.

This is Menya Tenhiro. It's been about 10 years since my last visit. I used to come here often when it first opened. I arrived just after 6 o'clock, and soon after, more customers started to come in. They have a limited menu item called cold tomato dipping noodles, but this time I went for their signature dish, the flavored egg dipping noodles. The rich soup is a blend of chicken broth and seafood, and the homemade medium-thick noodles are delicious when dipped into the flavorful seafood soup. The noodles have a nice firm texture and the green onions and diced onions add a good crunch and sweetness. The seasoned egg topping is just right, and the sliced roasted pork in the soup is juicy and flavorful. I added a bit of chili pepper and squeezed some sudachi juice for a refreshing citrus flavor. Of course, I finished the meal by diluting the soup with some fish broth, creating the perfect balance of flavors. It was a delicious and rich bowl of noodles that I enjoyed after a long time.

From drinking in Temma to finishing with ramen... Shime-ramen is the best!! On this day, I went to "Menya Tenshirou". They say, "We have combined the flavor of chicken bones and pork bones simmered for a long time with the umami of fish. We do not use chemical seasonings." First, I was captivated by the charred chashu on the burner, and the fragrant smell filled the store. It was irresistible. Ramen ¥850, Chashu bowl ¥300 + ¥500. The chashu was delicious as expected! The fatty flavor was rich and creamy. I'm not a fan of strong seafood flavors, but the balance of chicken, pork, and fish umami was rich and delicious without being overpowering. It's additive-free and gentle on the body. Next time, I want to try the tsukemen. Thank you for the meal. Suitable for "Solo dining, hanging out with friends."

From Nakanoshima Goto-re, to kickboard, to public bath, to drinking in Nakazakicho, and finally to end the night. I ordered the ramen with seasoned egg! It was chicken and pork bone broth, quite rich and delicious! Managed to finish it off with satisfaction. There was a rare incident of forgetting my wallet, but the manager kept it safe for me. Thank you very much!!

I visited "Menya Tenshirou" near JR Temma Station for the first time in 14 years. It is the 4th store of the "Menya Kagayaki" group, which opened on April 4, 2009. I ordered the same "tsukemen" (dipping noodles) as I did 14 years ago. The noodles were shiny and slightly sticky, cooked firm, and served with a sheet of seaweed. The rich dipping sauce is made from chicken, pork, and seafood. It was oily but delicious. The diced chashu pork topping was mostly fatty, so I decided not to eat it. The color of the tent with the restaurant's name written on it is brown, which is important. The photos from my visit in May 2009 show the beautiful wooden counter. At that time, two large slices of chashu were served, but now it's just one sheet of seaweed. The tent color was white back then. If the restaurant's name was "Tenshi" (angel), white would be a fitting color. Nearby, there is a sushi restaurant called "Sushi Amatsuka."

I visited "Menya Tenshirou" in Kita-ku, Osaka City. It is located about 160m northwest of JR Osaka Loop Line Temma Station North Exit. The interior has a straight counter with 10 seats. I visited on a Friday night after 8 pm and there were 3 customers already there. The basic menu consists of only tsukemen and ramen, with options for ajitama and chashu. The tsukemen comes in small, regular, and large sizes at the same price, and you can change the ramen noodles to rice flour noodles for an additional 50 yen. They also had a limited edition "Tomato Tsukemen" available. When I tried to select "Ramen" for 800 yen on the ticket machine, it was out of order with a sign on it. They had a pre-payment system in place when I sat down. I noticed small text hidden at the back of the counter mentioning "Spicy Ramen, Curry Ramen for 850 yen". The aroma of chashu being grilled on a burner stimulated my hunger. The bowl was a traditional size that is rarely seen nowadays, but the soup was thinly spread so it looked like there was very little (laughs). The homemade creamy chicken and pork broth had a tangy seafood acidity. Both the seafood and animal broths had a rich umami flavor, but the thickness of the soup was light, just enough collagen to lightly touch your lips. The medium-thin noodles had a firm edge and were cooked al dente, providing a slightly crunchy and chewy texture. The toppings included grilled chashu with a sweet and smoky flavor, menma, and chopped green onions. The table had condiments like sudachi juice, white pepper, and shichimi for seasoning. Thank you for the meal.

I keep coming back to this place multiple times to seek the taste of their tsukemen. The soup is really well balanced and incredibly delicious. The aftertaste of the soup stays with you. The fact that you can get a large portion for free is really great, and you will definitely leave the restaurant feeling full. I will continue to visit this place 100%.

*Today's Menu - Tomato Tsukemen: ¥1,000 - Large Size: Free A soup base made by simmering chicken and pork bones for a long time, combined with the umami of fish, and further enhanced with tomatoes. The dipping sauce includes tomato puree on the side to intensify the tomato flavor. It can be reheated if it cools down.

They are doing their best in the competitive ramen district of Temma area, located on Tenjinbashi-suji, at Menya Tenshirou. The vending machine seems to be malfunctioning, so you have to order and pay at the counter. This time, I ordered the Ajitama Tsukemen. You can choose the amount of noodles from small, regular, or large, and of course, I chose the large size. After a few minutes of waiting, the Tsukemen arrived. The soup is a combination of chicken broth, pork bone broth, and seafood broth. It goes well with the noodles and the seaweed adds a nice touch. After finishing the Tsukemen, Menya Tenshirou offers a soup refill, so I made sure to enjoy that as well.

I had tried to visit this shop several times, but it was always closed unexpectedly. Finally, I was able to go in. You can choose the amount of noodles and customize the soup concentration. The dipping sauce is especially delicious, with various ingredients' flavors blending perfectly without overpowering each other. I will definitely be coming back again.

[Noodle Shop Tenshiro] "Char siu tsukemen" 1200 yen The soup is a blend of chicken, pork, and seafood, with a slightly thick texture. There is no pork bone odor, and the aroma of seafood stands out, making it a delicious ramen. I thought the seafood flavor might be a bit strong, but it's within an acceptable range. The noodles are thick and slightly curly straight noodles. These noodles have a firm texture with a wheat flavor, making them delicious. The char siu is a thickly sliced and seared type. While the size is average, it has a good thickness and is seasoned with a medium-rich sauce that I really like. It's delicious.

On this day of my business trip to Osaka, my schedule suddenly opened up a bit, so I decided to treat myself to a delicious lunch. I visited this restaurant, which had a single counter and a broken ticket machine, where you order and pay on the spot. Luckily, I was able to enter without having to wait as six staff members were available. I chose the large serving of tsukemen with flavored egg from the menu at the counter. When the tsukemen arrived, it looked simple but appetizing with its shiny noodles. I tried the soup alone first, and it was rich and flavorful. The noodles, although glossy and not very sticky, paired well with this flavorful soup. Even with the large serving, I didn't get tired of eating it. I finished it all and requested soup refills, but I felt that adding raw onions on top would enhance the rich soup even more. This restaurant seems to have produced many famous ramen chefs in the Kansai region. It was delicious, thank you for the meal.

I had been curious about this restaurant for a while, as it is said to be popular. When I visited at night, there were no customers. I ordered both ramen and tsukemen. The base flavors were similar, but the ramen noodles were thinner while the tsukemen noodles were thicker and more firm. Personally, I definitely think the tsukemen is of a higher level. The balance between the noodles and the dipping sauce is perfect and delicious! It's rich but not too heavy, and you can enjoy it until the last bite. Also, getting a large portion for the same price is a great deal.

I went to "Menya Tenshirou" near JR Temma Station. Despite passing by the restaurant many times, it was my first time trying it. I ordered the Ajitama Tsukemen (large - 280g) for 1000 yen. They offer small (140g), medium (210g), and large (280g) sizes for the same price. It wasn't crowded, and I got my bowl in about 10 minutes. The rich soup had a unique flavor that I enjoyed. I wished there was a bit more meat in the bowl considering the price, but it was still good. The flavored egg was delicious, so adding it is a must. I would like to try other items on the menu next time.

This is a review of a restaurant belonging to the "Menya Kagayaki" group, which is expanding its stores mainly in the Kansai region. I ordered the tamago (egg) tsukemen. Although they offer a free upsize, I opted for the regular size. Please note that it takes some time for the noodles to cook, so if you're in a hurry, be aware of that. The dipping sauce here is not the typical tonkotsu (pork bone) base used by Kagayaki group, but a chicken-based soup with added seafood, made without any chemical seasonings. I think the flavor could use a bit more punch. The noodles are chewy and good. The sliced chashu (roast pork) is tender and quite high quality; adding extra may be a good idea. The restaurant's appearance and service may be unassuming, but the taste is reliable.

On Saturday at 7:30 PM, I went to "Menya Tenshirou" in Temma. It's a small shop with only about 10 counter seats, and it's run by just one person. I ordered the recommended "Ajitama Tsukemen (950 yen)". You can choose the amount of noodles from small, regular, or large at the same price. I chose the regular size today. It arrived in 10 minutes. One bite. Delicious. The soup is made by simmering pork bones and chicken bones for a long time, adding the umami of seafood. It has a rich flavor and a unique texture that makes you wonder if it really has no chemical seasonings. The noodles are thick and chewy homemade noodles with a good wheat flavor. The dipping sauce includes diced chashu, green onions, and finely chopped onions. I added some sudachi juice from Tokushima on the table to the dipping sauce halfway through, and it dramatically changed the taste to a refreshing one. As a service, you can have the soup refilled and reheated. I finished by adding the soup refill. By the way, the sister shop of this restaurant seems to be "Menya Kagayaki". Furthermore, the graduates who trained at this shop and its sister shop have opened independent shops such as "Menya Taku", "Tsukemen Ide", "Menya Ageha", "Menya FACTORY JAWS", "Ramen Juki", "Ramen Kikuhan", "Ramen Iro Akagi", and "Ikareta NOODLE Fishtos". It's a lineup of top-notch shops that produce one after another. Thank you for the meal.

Visited Tenshirou near Temmabashi Station. Ordered the classic tsukemen with extra noodles from the ticket machine. The dipping broth was a mix of chicken and pork bone, not too thick or too light, somewhere in between. The noodles had a nice firm texture, and dipping them in the kabosu citrus juice made it refreshing!! It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I visited "Menya Tenshirou" in Temma for my second stop. This place is known for its rich and thick dipping noodles, but even I, who prefers lighter flavors, decided to give it a try. I purchased the "dipping noodles" from the ticket machine, opting for the free extra-large portion. The restaurant has only a counter with 12 seats, and the owner manages everything alone. The noodles arrived, and I dug in. The noodles were medium-thick and straight, with a somewhat rubbery texture that wasn't quite to my liking. The dipping sauce was what you might call a "mata-oma" style, but even I could handle it. It came with chopped green onions and square-shaped chashu pork. There was no fish powder, so even those who are not fans, like me, could enjoy it. The only topping was seaweed, so if you prefer more toppings, you might want to add something extra. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

Due to the rain, I had a slow commute and stopped in Nakazakicho to find a place to eat. I found a shop that was open and ordered a curry ramen with extra noodles and rice from the ticket machine. I waited at my seat and after about 10 minutes, my steaming hot bowl of curry ramen arrived. The aroma was delightful and the soup had a mild and comforting taste of chicken broth. The noodles had a nice firm texture and I slurped them up eagerly. The extra noodles were definitely a good choice. I initially planned to save the rice for later but ended up finishing it quickly. The char siu with a hint of charred flavor was also delicious. I couldn't resist a second helping. The tasty ramen was truly irresistible. I'm looking forward to trying their tsukemen next time. Thank you for the delicious meal. Today's lunch: Curry Ramen with Extra Noodles and Rice - 950 yen Parking fee - 200 yen

I recommend the flavored egg dipping noodles, and I ordered it with an extra flavored egg. The soup is pretty standard, with a reassuring taste. The noodles are delicious as well. The flavored egg is well seasoned and tastes great dipped in the soup. Adding some spice to it makes it even better. Thank you for the meal.
