Today, I decided to take a break from alcohol, so I tried having a dinner at Kushitori without alcohol to see how cost-effective it would be. The total cost was 2,150 yen. Although I was full, it was a bit pricey. Here is what I had:
- Adult Potato Salad: Perfect for snacking with plenty of thick-cut bacon.
- Chicken Skewers: Delicious even without alcohol. The saltiness and grilling were perfect!
- Golden Chicken Kamameshi: Cooked on the table, comes with hitsumabushi set, making it doubly delicious. I like to add the chicken skewers into it to increase the chicken ratio.
Surrounded by men drinking beer, I felt a bit out of place sipping on chicken broth, but the menu choices make it a cost-effective option for a non-alcoholic meal. I ordered randomly this time, but I plan to study the menu and try different dishes next time.

Due to the early closing time, I didn't have many chances to visit Kushitori. I've tried other items, but I preferred the salt over the sauce. The low room temperature made it uncomfortable to relax. I didn't think I ate much, but it ended up feeling quite expensive.

The "Kushidori Bangaichi" restaurant has one store in front of the station and another in Susukino, but the Susukino store is currently closed, leaving only the one store on the main street in front of the station. Here, you can enjoy unique menu items that are different from Kushidori. The interior has a stylish atmosphere, reminiscent of a creative cuisine restaurant, with a sense of luxury. There is a 10% discount coupon available, so don't forget to use it. The "Caesar Salad" is fresh and delicious, with a tasty dressing that you should definitely try. The "Bangaichi Special Zangi" is delicious, as well as the "Grilled Eggplant" which is a classic dish at 130 yen. The "Stuffed Bell Pepper" is also a must-try, with both the pepper and meat being delicious. The "Chicken and Wasabi Skewers" are innovative and tasty, as well as the "Caciocavallo Cheese" from Italy, which is elegant and delicious. The "Spicy Nanban Tsukune" is recommended for those who like spicy food, but they also have a regular version for those who prefer mild flavors. The "Salted Hormone" and "Soft Miso Hormone" are both excellent choices, and the "Crispy Cheese Stick" is a great snack to have with drinks. The "Liver Skewers" are particularly different from regular Kushidori and are incredibly delicious, so be sure to try them. The complimentary soup and grated daikon are a nice touch. The freshly squeezed Grapefruit and Lemon Sours are priced at 440 yen each and are a fun and tasty option. The draft beer is 420 yen for a classic, and the highball is 360 yen, with a refreshing carbonation. The pork and chicken skewers are tastier than the regular Kushidori, with a slight price difference but worth the value. This Kushidori Bangaichi is quite different from the regular Kushidori and offers a unique dining experience, which I personally find more delicious and enjoyable.

I came to have a casual drink with colleagues from work. We didn't have a reservation, but we managed to get a table. It's great to come early because the drinks are cheaper. I couldn't help but have a few drinks (laughs). The skewers are also delicious here, there's no such thing as a bad one! I didn't take many photos, but I'll definitely come back for more food and drinks. Thank you for the meal!

There is a smoking room inside the restaurant! The yakitori is delicious (≧∀≦). What is Kushi Tori: - Providing high-quality and safe products, including "Ahan chicken" from Iwate - Using charcoal fire and constantly improving grilling techniques - Pursuing taste in all aspects, from ingredients to salt and sauce - Our commitment is to provide enjoyable dining experiences at affordable prices for as many customers as possible.

When it comes to yakitori in Sapporo, I always thought of Kushi Tori. It used to be a favorite for university students looking for cheap drinks, but now it's more expensive than Torikizoku. I can't casually go out for drinks there anymore, sadly. A bottle of beer and about 7 pieces of yakitori cost around 2400 yen. It used to be about half that price. I felt the passage of time. I'll come back for the mochi bacon when I have more money.

On the first day of returning home, we went to the Kushi Tori Bangaiji Ekimaedori store as our second stop. This Ekimaedori store was a new visit for us, and we found the counter seating to be nice and cozy with dividers between every two seats. However, we experienced some issues with the service - we had to wait 10 minutes after ordering our drinks, and even though we ordered a non-alcoholic beer, we were served a regular beer instead. Despite these shortcomings, the food itself was delicious so we still like to visit this place. Just be aware that even within the same Kushi Tori chain, there can be differences between stores.

Yakitori always makes me crave it suddenly (lol). I had some business near the station today, so I went to "Kushitori Bangaichi Ekimaedori Store." As of 03/05/2022, the rating was 3.27. I ordered a few drinks, yakitori, and some appetizers. We received a complimentary dish and beer and oolong tea arrived, so we made a toast! The staff's service was fantastic, and the food was very delicious. We ended up eating and drinking more than we expected. When the staff is energetic, it increases your appetite (lol). Thank you for the feast! I will definitely visit Kushitori Bangaichi Ekimaedori Store again!

I visited a branch of Kushitori for the first time in a location outside of the main area, near the Tokyu station. The group had made a reservation, but after that, I was the only one there. I did some research and found that the differences from the regular Kushitori are: 1) no grated daikon radish, 2) they serve a small appetizer for 300 yen, 3) they have a menu that leans more towards izakaya style, and 4) they have a wide selection of wine. The Otaru branch also offers Lar Sala and Zangi, so maybe the Otaru branch is more towards the outside location as well? They also have a happy hour which seems to be a higher-end brand. They have some unique items on the menu, like a 1L lemon sour for 600 yen, which is a good deal. They also have a cocktail exclusive to Kushitori called Lilac, which is very sweet and easy to drink. The appetizer was chicken tomato stew, better than edamame. Lar Sala was a bit small in portion, but good. The potato fries were okay, as well as the fish cake and fried beef tongue. The Zangi was more like salted fried chicken, which I liked. The grilled chicken skewers were a bit sweet. There was a review on Google about the bad attitude of the manager, but I didn't experience that. However, one of the older female staff members was intimidating and scary. When I asked about the happy hour, she responded rudely, which left a bad impression. Overall, the restaurant is a bit quirky compared to the regular Kushitori, but not bad. If you just want to enjoy grilled chicken, I think the regular Kushitori would be more satisfying. There are multiple branches in Sapporo, but I think the Otaru branch is my favorite. The manager there is really nice, and they offer Lar Sala and Zangi, which I like. If anyone reading this decides to go, remember to use the Hot Pepper coupon to get 500 yen off for spending over 2000 yen per person. Thank you for the meal.

Suddenly, I, ☆Nagareboshi, would like to announce that I will be suspending my activities on Tabelog and retiring as of today. Thank you for your long-time support. Just kidding, April Fools! My goal is to be a reviewer for 20 years! Now, starting from the morning with a drink at "Tsunagu Yokocho," I headed to a certain restaurant and wandered around. Then, "Kushitori Bangaichi" appeared, both of us having a good impression of kushitori, so we decided to go in as our 7th stop of the day. Kushitori Bangaichi is a restaurant that charges for otoshi (table charge), and they served a spicy nanohana with mustard dressing, but it seemed like the mustard powder had been mixed in for too long, so the flavor was a bit off. The skewers were of the usual kushitori quality, and considering the price, they were decent... Wait a minute, maybe the satisfaction level is lower than usual. It lacks the juicy feeling... Am I imagining things? And the scallop butter was even worse. As you can see in the picture, it was sticky. I wish they hadn't served this. Hmm, it seems like the grilling technique that day was lacking. Maybe the heat was too strong. As a "Bangaichi," if they want to differentiate themselves from the regular kushitori, they need to clearly show a difference in menu and serving skills, otherwise, customers might not be satisfied. As a fan of kushitori, this time was disappointing. Now, let's regroup and go eat some gyoza! Oh! I used a course with all-you-can-drink for the first time in a while. There were about 4-5 types of skewers, fried foods, daikon salad, so there was no shortage of food. I really wanted to go for the 3-hour all-you-can-drink plan, but it required a reservation by the day before. In any case, as usual, I drank about 7-8 highballs and got drunk. Thank you for the meal.

◆Sapporo Kusatori Bangaichi Ekimae-dori Store◆
I have been to the Hokkaido izakaya chain "Kusatori" many times. I was curious after seeing the commercial, so I visited "Kusatori Bangaichi" for the first time. I wondered if there was something different when the name "Bangaichi" was attached. Upon entering, looking at the menu, it didn't seem to be that different. So, I ordered the "kamameshi," but they said, "I'm sorry, all rice dishes are sold out." It was around 8:30 pm, maybe it's because of the pandemic? Anyway, I ordered a highball (¥336 excluding tax) while reconsidering what to order. The appetizer was not "grated daikon" but "chicken tomato stew." I don't like chicken, so I wasn't happy (bitter smile). I ordered three skewers of three types of pork minced meat (¥140 per skewer excluding tax) and crispy fried corn (¥392 excluding tax). I ordered various other items, but on that day, I was told multiple times, "I'm sorry, it's sold out." I added a 1000ml jumbo lemon sour (¥560 excluding tax) and again looked at the menu to decide what to eat, but since there were so many items that were out of stock, I left feeling tired. I think I don't need to go to "Bangaichi" anymore.

Self-restraint and stress relief from work. I was taken to my favorite coworker's extra-special place, Kushi Tori. I remember that Kushi Tori was my first experience with yakitori. Even as a working adult, I have been taken care of here many times, but this is my first time at the extra-special place. The appetizer is not grated daikon! The menu is different from the usual Kushi Tori. The prices are reasonable, with a slightly luxurious feel. The seating is separated from the surrounding tables, so it's relaxing. I unwind by chatting and enjoying some snacks, letting go of the stresses of daily life.

Around Sapporo Station. After work, I bought some bread and had a quick drink around Sapporo Station. I felt like having yakitori, so I went to Kushitori Bangaichi. The days are long, which is nice! I hurried to get there to enjoy cheap highballs. Phew, made it! I sat down at my table. Kushitori Bangaichi offers appetizers, so it's a bit upscale. The menu is mostly the same, but there are some differences. For the appetizers, they served a tomato stew-like dish and the classic yakitori soup. I ordered a highball for 168 yen (before tax), the "Cheers to Hokkaido!" set for 591 yen, grilled Kachokabaro for 186 yen, salted hormone for 131 yen, and soft miso hormone for 131 yen. The "Cheers to Hokkaido!" set includes mentaiko mayo tsukune, cartilage tsukune, cheese curry tsukune, and stuffed bell peppers, all tsukune-based dishes. The mentaiko mayo tsukune was rich and delicious. The cheese curry tsukune was a nice surprise as I don't usually choose it. Overall, having a drink after work is great! Thank you for the meal!

I really wanted to see AKIRA in IMAX no matter what, so I brought a friend along and we went to see it. It was amazing. I never thought I would be able to see it in theaters again after so many years. I even went to a movie theater near New Chitose Airport for a film festival where it was being shown, but I was late due to work and they had already closed the doors after three people, so I had to sadly come back. So, I am really happy now. I also went to see it on the day of the Third World War (July 16)… If it weren't for COVID, I would have wanted to go see more movies. After that, we went to Kushikatori Bangai for a party. Everything we ate was delicious. I never order quail myself, but when I tried it, it was delicious! It's fun to go with others and try different things than my usual favorites. It was a fun time! Thank you for the meal!

I visited a popular yakitori restaurant in Hokkaido and ordered familiar items like tsukune, maitake mushrooms, asparagus-wrapped pork, beef skirt, and ponpochi. Before the skewers arrived, I enjoyed a delicious chicken soup, which was surprisingly free and even offered free refills. The yakitori arrived in about 10 minutes and all of them were incredibly tasty, exceeding my expectations in terms of quality. I also opened a bottle of red wine, which cost around 2500 yen per person, making it a great value for the price.

Visited while being cautious of the risk of COVID-19. Had only highballs to drink and enjoyed a long-awaited izakaya meal. One good thing about this place is that they offer a variety of side dishes in addition to the standard yakitori menu. For example, the ramen salad for 380 yen. It's satisfying and they also have a selection of shochu bottles, making it convenient. They have private rooms available and the partitions between tables are sufficient. Thank you for the meal.

I understand that it's busy and the restaurant is full, but waiting 30 minutes for the first skewer to arrive is abnormal. Even if there are empty seats, if the operation can't keep up, I think the option of not seating more customers should be considered. That's why the service is rated 1.0 star. I ordered a Men's Plum Sour and the skewers in the photo, and while waiting and eating the appetizer, I waited... and waited... and waited! Finally, after 30 minutes, they arrived! The skewers were delicious, but being made to wait that long was a bit too much... I only ate what I ordered first and left the restaurant.

09/07/19 Attended a second party after the end-of-term party. It had been about 2 years since I last visited this place. I had already eaten and drunk a lot during the first party, so my stomach was full. I was quite drunk. I wonder why I ordered a liter of sour drink. And I even had two glasses of it. I don't remember what we talked about. The only thing I remember is that the private room in the back has a TV and seems useful for various purposes. But I'm going to be transferred soon... To my junior colleague who is considering staying behind as the organizer, I'll record this here for your reference.

After work on June 2019, I casually stopped by a place called "Kushitori Bangaichi" instead of the usual Kushitori. It had a slightly more upscale feel to it. I arrived a little before the usual end of the workday rush. The place tends to get crowded, so it's best for solo diners to go early and leave early! They have counter seating for two, as well as sunken kotatsu tables and private rooms in the back, making it suitable for groups as well. Until 7 pm, they have an "early discount" where highballs are only 180 yen. However, I'm not a fan of highballs, so I opted for a green tea highball instead. To start, they serve a side dish (300 yen) which is like a chicken mince stew. It goes really well with rice. The menu includes seafood and other dishes, but the skewers are the main attraction. I tried the "Tsubo no Tsubo Yaki" (400 yen) which had plenty of bite-sized tsubo pieces, lightly seasoned. The "Kacho Cavalo no Aburiyaki" (200 yen) was delicious. The "Avocado no Namahamu Maki" (170 yen) was like a refreshing salad on a skewer. The "Lettuce to Cheese no Butaniku Maki" (280 yen) had a juicy combination of lettuce, cheese, and pork. I had a drink and the total bill came to 2030 yen, but luckily they had a coupon where you get 500 yen off for spending over 2000 yen, so I ended up paying only 1530 yen for all that food and a bit of drinking. If you decide to visit, don't forget to check out their deals on Hot Pepper. Thank you for the meal!
