Visited a new ramen restaurant for the 112th time in 2022, had salted an sauce ramen, and left the place. Found a standing bar on the same floor and decided to stop by. It was a decent place, but they said no posting reviews on sites like Tabelog, so I didn't write one. It was a good place though... I wonder why they have that rule. Oh well, I checked and there are reviews already, haha. Anyway, I decided to check into the hotel. Oh, there's that restaurant I wanted to go to... it's right here (-_-;) I can still make it. Let's go in! Sapporo Ramen Hachi. Well, since I'm here, might as well make the best of it. It wasn't too crowded since it was late. They had a ticket machine, so I thought of getting the classic Sapporo Chinese-style soba, but the set with fried chicken was a great deal, so I went for that. I also ordered a beer to go with the fried chicken. The beer came quickly, so I raised a toast to myself. The beer was delicious♪ Then the fried chicken arrived, followed shortly by the ramen. The ramen had a typical Chinese soba look, looking delicious. The fried chicken was bigger and darker than I expected. Let's dig in. I prefer not to let the noodles stretch too much, so I'll mix the ramen. Took a sip of the soup. I see, it has a bonito flavor and aroma. Combined with the chicken broth, it creates a refreshing yet deep flavor. The noodles are thin, but they are high-water content whole wheat noodles, which surprised me. Honestly, I'm not sure if it matches the soup well, but it's undeniably tasty. Is this the right choice? The chashu was rare and lightly flavored. I like this type. There were no elements that blew me away, but overall, everything was above average and deserving of praise. Now, the fried chicken. As expected, it's quite a large portion. It was fried quite intensely, almost to the point of being burnt. Some people might like this, but for me, it was a bit too much. It was a good accompaniment to the beer though, haha. I ended up feeling unexpectedly full, but I achieved my initial goal, so I guess it's all good. The ramen was delicious after all. There are still good restaurants in Sapporo. I need to explore deeper next time, haha. Thanks for the meal!

If you like spicy food, the Spicy Miso Ramen is at a comfortable level of spiciness. I was debating between getting the regular Miso Ramen, but today I was craving something spicy so I chose the Spicy Miso. The price is the same as the regular Miso Ramen, so it feels like a good deal. I used a coupon to add green onions as a topping. The bright red appearance is appetizing. The reliable deliciousness is enhanced by a pleasant level of spiciness. The regular Miso Ramen is already delicious without any added spices, so to combine it with spices is such a luxurious experience.

HACHI set (1000 yen) (1 piece of Zangi and small rice + 100 yen) Zangi looks delicious so I went for the set menu. I asked the energetic staff for recommendations and they suggested Sapporo Chinese soba with soy sauce, and pork belly for the chashu. I also chose the soy sauce flavor for the Zangi. It was my first time trying the welcome drink at a ramen shop, which was barley young barley green juice. It was easy to drink. The Chinese soba came in a deep bowl with whole wheat thin straight noodles that looked beautiful. It had green onions, seaweed, two pieces of bamboo menma, and sliced asparagus, which was a new experience for me. Next, the Zangi arrived, which was crispy and bigger than I expected. The ramen had a rich flavor of clam broth and dried shrimp that spread throughout. Usually, I get used to the taste after a few bites, but this bowl kept its delicious taste until the last bite. It didn't get boring and had a perfect balance of flavors from start to finish. The Zangi was also juicy and crispy, not too heavy, and went well with the rice. The restaurant offers a variety of flavors like salt, miso, and rich Chinese, and the noodles vary in thickness and shape depending on the seasoning. I'm curious about trying other menu items next time, maybe the rich Chinese flavor. Thank you for the meal.

I couldn't stop thinking about the rich Chinese-style ramen since yesterday, so I decided to visit. It turns out, the rich Chinese-style ramen is actually a seafood and pork bone ramen. I love seafood and pork bone ramen as well. The flavor is different from soy sauce, miso, and salt ramen, but I also enjoy this unique taste. The chashu pork is simmered well and stands out from the low-temperature cooked roast pork, making sure that diners don't get bored. The welcome drink of green juice is a thoughtful touch for the body, another recommended point of this restaurant.

I revisited the restaurant this week as planned and ordered the soy sauce ramen. As always, the combination of flavors was delicious. Each time I eat here, it makes me feel like I made the right choice in choosing this as a part of life's enjoyment. The soy sauce ramen has a subtle clam-infused Japanese-style broth that pairs wonderfully with the whole wheat noodles. The pork loin chashu I chose today was cooked rare, which I really love. The toppings are great, but I think even just the basic ramen here is enjoyable enough. I've tried the miso and soy sauce ramen before, and just realized today that they also have a rich Chinese-style ramen on the menu. I'll definitely have to come back for that...

I love all the flavors of the ramen here. It might be the one I eat the most since moving to Sapporo. Today I chose the salt ramen with a trendy folded noodle style. It feels almost too precious to put my chopsticks in. The noodles are made with whole wheat flour, giving them a nice flavor. I love the subtle aroma of clam broth in the soup, combined with the seaweed flavor. I chose chicken chashu, which was also tender and delicious. The peppery menma adds a nice touch. The asparagus adds a stylish pop of color. I think I'll try the soy sauce ramen next week.

My son and I went on a foodie trip. We tried some chewy noodles with a refreshing and light Chinese-style soup. According to my son, it had a delicate flavor. The miso ramen also had a light and refreshing soup base, not too heavy but just right. It was delicious!

It's been a year since my last visit, and this time the soup was completely different from before. Last time it was a light broth, but this time it was a thick tonkotsu soup with a mix of chicken and fish flavors, with a good thickness that paired well with the firm medium-straight noodles. It had a strong taste, which I preferred over the light broth from before. I also ordered two pieces of zangi, which were piping hot and delicious! The photo shows the salt flavor, but they also have a soy sauce flavor. I always receive a service ticket, but I feel bad because I always end up losing it...

I visited this restaurant next to the clock tower on the main street for a late lunch on my day off. It was towards the end of the lunch hours, so I was able to enter without any trouble. I had the Sapporo soy sauce ramen. I used a service voucher I had received at the Teine branch to add a seasoned egg topping, but it was forgotten. That was disappointing. The whole wheat noodles were good, but a bit too chewy? I think I prefer the broth ramen I had at the Teine branch. Maybe the flavors of the different ingredients were too overwhelming. But overall, I enjoyed the meal. Thank you.

I visited a restaurant that I had been curious about for a while. I went there after finishing my errands at the bank. There were 3 customers already seated when I arrived around 11 o'clock, and 2 more came in after me. The red-covered chairs were quite eye-catching. Inside, I stood in front of the ticket machine on the left side and contemplated my choices. The left button was for Sapporo-style Chinese soba, and the right button was for Sapporo miso ramen. I decided to go with the left side and chose the Chinese soba with flavored egg. When I handed over my ticket, the staff asked, "Would you like soy sauce or salt flavor?" This caught me off guard as I had assumed it was only soy sauce. Well, I'm here for the noodles after all. I requested soy sauce and took a seat at a table. After a short wait, my meal arrived. The small, tall bowl was familiar from somewhere. The neatly arranged noodles with seaweed, thinly sliced pork, menma, and green onions had a familiar look. I was pleased that the flavored egg was not cold. I flipped the noodles over and started eating. The straight thin noodles were coated with the soup as I brought them to my mouth, but the slight floury smell of the noodles bothered me a bit. It felt a bit too light in flavor. I finished the soup as well and said thank you for the meal.

Next to the clock tower is a ramen shop where I used to visit often when they used to serve morning ramen. This time, to celebrate their third anniversary, the shop owner decided to offer a limited-time special of Hakata ramen from Kyushu, where he trained. I visited on the first day to try it out! I ordered the tonkotsu ramen, which costs 850 yen, and you need to buy a ticket before ordering. The shop also offers a free welcome drink, which is a nice touch. The tonkotsu ramen came with free toppings of red ginger and pickled mustard greens, and you can get free noodle refills as well. They also adjust the noodle firmness according to your preference. The presentation of the ramen was beautiful, and the soup was delicious with a rich pork flavor but no unpleasant smell. The broth was flavorful but not heavy at all. It might be the best tonkotsu ramen I've ever had. The noodles were thin, and I was so engrossed in eating that I forgot how they were at first. The char siu was cooked rare, which I personally like, but it may not be for everyone. The service was a bit rushed due to the high number of noodle refill orders, but considering it was their third anniversary, I'll cut them some slack. The limited-time offer lasts until February 19th, but if the feedback is positive, they might consider adding it to their regular menu. If you're interested, I recommend trying this tonkotsu ramen. It's a must-try for ramen lovers! Thank you for the delicious meal. Tonkotsu is the best! Tonkotsu is the best!! Tonkotsu is the best!!! When you eat something delicious, your spirits are lifted, meow.

Sapporo Meat Chinese Soba for 1,050 yen was delicious, but maybe not really my preference... The super fast service was great though. (о´∀`о)

I had been checking out this restaurant for a while but couldn't visit until now. The service was excellent, just as described in the reviews. Whole wheat noodles are the default here. Personally, I was blown away by the Kin'iro Hototogisu clam broth and the Damena Rinjin (ginger confit) just like when I first tried the dishes at a different restaurant. The broth includes kombu, dried bonito, dried shiitake mushrooms, chicken, and clam broth. I'm not a fan of dried bonito, but with clams, it's a whole different story. The umami flavors are just amazing. Today, I had soy sauce, but next time I'll try the salt broth. The owner's hospitality and the jazzy atmosphere of the restaurant make it a perfect place for a woman to enjoy a blissful bowl of noodles alone. This is important.

Located in the basement of the Clock Tower Building, next to the Clock Tower in Sapporo's Chuo Ward, this ramen restaurant has a traditional entrance with menu boards and banners. I visited on a Sunday afternoon around 2 pm. Upon entering, I noticed a ticket machine on the left for ordering food tickets. I thought only cash was accepted, but they also accepted electronic money. A staff member approached me to help with the menu selection and payment process. I chose the Sapporo Chinese Soba and Mini Pork Bowl set for 1000 yen. After payment with electronic money, I selected my ramen and mini bowl choices from a few options. I was then directed to a table and offered a complimentary welcome drink, which included options like green tea and organic tea. The seating area had a mix of counter seats and tables, with a young female duo finishing their meal nearby. The presentation of the Sapporo Chinese Soba was beautiful, with toppings like low-temperature cooked pork, chopped green onions, and thick bamboo shoots. The soy-based soup was rich and flavorful, with hints of clam broth. The whole wheat noodles had a nice chewy texture and a subtle wheat flavor. The Mini Pork Bowl, however, had tough and fibrous pork slices, making it a bit difficult to eat. Overall, I enjoyed the Sapporo Chinese Soba and would like to try the salt-based version next time.

I chose the soy sauce flavor at a ramen shop near Sapporo Clock Tower that uses a ticket machine system. There are regular and rich types available, and this time I went with the regular type. The clear soup paired with chewy noodles was delicious. There seemed to be two types of chashu included. Next time, I want to try the rich type.

I finally went to HACHI, a place I had been curious about for a while - it operates on a food ticket system. I had the soy sauce ramen, while my husband had the chashu noodles with rice. The soup was piping hot. It seemed to be a chicken broth base, but I didn't feel much of a chicken flavor. It was quite light in taste. The toppings like bamboo shoots didn't really complement the noodles and soup well. I was a bit surprised to see a big fly flying around inside the restaurant. The staff were trying hard to get rid of it, but I couldn't help but wonder about the hygiene... The staff's service was very efficient and left a good impression. Thank you for the meal.

In the evening, feeling a bit hungry before going out for drinks, I searched for a place to eat and found this restaurant. I visited around 5:30 pm and there was only one group of customers ahead of me. I was worried about the time, so I quickly placed my order. I decided to go with the recommended dish, the light Chinese noodles as I was planning to drink later. The food arrived in about 8 minutes, which was perfect as I could finish it in time. They also offered a complimentary welcome drink, either tea or green juice, which was a nice touch. As I waited, more customers started to arrive and the place quickly filled up. The soup had a clear but rich chicken flavor, which was really delicious. The noodles were straight and paired well with the soup. The flavorful chashu pork also added a nice touch to the dish. Despite being in a rush, I ended up finishing the whole bowl. I would love to come back and savor the flavors more next time. I found a great place to eat!

Today, I went to see Mr. Suzuki, also known as Takayuki Suzuki, perform at the Doshin Hall, so I decided to grab a bite to eat at a nearby restaurant called Hachi before the show. I was looking forward to trying the set menu, but unfortunately it was sold out at the ticket machine, so I ended up ordering an additional Zangi. I ordered the Char Siu Shoyu Ramen, while my wife ordered the Shio Ramen. Both dishes were delicious. The Shio Ramen in particular reminded me of the taste of ramen I used to eat at a diner near Bibai Station when I was a child, so I was very happy and will definitely be returning. On the other hand, my wife really enjoyed the Shoyu Ramen, so it's definitely a place we will be revisiting. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Delicious salt char siu ramen with a light, flavorful broth that is not too salty but still rich in flavor. The straight noodles are not curled, and are arranged neatly in a bowl. It seems to be a recent trend, but it tastes great. However, the surrounding area has expensive parking, so it may be difficult to go by car.

On December last year, a new menu was released that I had been curious about for a while. That is... HACHI's dipping ramen with soy sauce!!! It has a chicken and dried fish broth soup with three-year aged soy sauce, raw soy sauce, and re-brewed soy sauce, Okinawa black sugar with vinegar added for sweetness... Just reading about it made my mouth water (´﹃`). Oh, and by the way?! They served a green juice before the meal, which had a refreshing taste that surprised me♡ "Dipping Ramen with Soy Sauce" here we go~! ( ^罒^ )v Oh yeah~♪♩♬ In terms of appearance, it's the trendy style of having the ingredients separated. First, take a sip of the noodles to enjoy the smooth texture of the medium-thin flat noodles. Then, instead of eating them separately, I tried putting the separately arranged ingredients on top of the noodles ( ・∇・), then dipping the noodles into the sauce and tasting it... The richness of the chicken hits you first, followed by a lingering scent of dried fish that passes through your nostrils, and it's unbelievably delicious!!! The tender chashu and peppery flavored menma are also good (^-^)v Adding salmon flakes for flavor halfway through increases the seafood aroma~♪♩♬ Adding bonito kelp water also thickens the dipping sauce and enhances the noodle coating~! Finally, I add all the bonito kelp water to the dipping sauce and enjoy it as a split soup♡ It's a fun and delicious dipping ramen with various flavor changes, but personally, I think you can enjoy it fully until the end with just the default dipping sauce. Well, I think you can use the flavor-changing items or not, so if you're curious, please try it once♪♩♬ Thank you for the meal (*˘╰╯˘)ゞ.

Today, I stopped by Ramen Hachi while out and about. I had been slightly curious about it before, but the jazzy BGM playing inside didn't really grab my attention. The sound of the kitchen exhaust fan reverberating inside made it feel a bit noisy in there. I purchased the lunch set B at the ticket vending machine inside, choosing the duck broth soy sauce ramen and special TKG set. Lately, I've been having soft rice a lot, so I was a bit worried, but all I could do was pray. The food arrived in about 7-8 minutes! The transparency of the soup exuded a sense of sophistication from its appearance. First, I tried the soup. Ah! It's truly duck broth. The gentle, soothing taste with a Japanese touch was delightful. The noodles were made using the shop's unique method, focusing on the taste and texture, and you could feel that dedication in the texture. It had a momentary buckwheat noodle-like firmness. The special TKG rice was just the right firmness I expected, so I was satisfied. However, I couldn't tell what made it special, but even though the rice was already slightly seasoned, when mixed with the egg, it ended up tasting mostly like the egg alone. Since there was no soy sauce on the table, I poured some of the duck broth over it, and that was quite delicious!
