When I went near the Art Forest, I used this shop for takeout. When you open the outer door, there is a wind dehumidifier, and inside, there is another door to the shop. Inside the shop, there were many pictures of Japanese tits displayed, and a sweet and very nice smell! When I asked, they were baking cookies, so I bought two cookies that were lined up. I enjoyed them in the car with the coffee they brewed! The rabbit-shaped shortbread (250 yen) had a vanilla and chocolate flavor, both crispy and delicious! The bear cookie (200 yen) had cashews and almonds, and it was cute! It had a soft texture and was delicious! The "Japanese Tit Blend" coffee (400 yen) was a coffee with a strong acidity, which became more bitter as it cooled down. It was delicious when paired with the sweet cookies! My companion's "cafe au lait" (500 yen) was milky but had a slightly bitter taste, with a hint of bitterness. Oh, there was a notice that they will be closed in May. I'm curious about the "Thai curry" on the menu, so I want to use the indoor seating next time! Thank you, "Yamagara"!

I left from the center of Sapporo to go to Le Dilemma Plus, but arrived about 20 minutes early even though they open at 11:00. I had to kill time, so I ran around the area and found this shop. Even though their opening time was 11:00, they kindly welcomed me in early. It was snowing heavily at the time, so I was grateful. The interior of the shop is completely non-smoking, and they offer a variety of coffee beans from their own blends to straight ones. I ordered the Mandheling (450 yen), which had a moderate roast with a rich aroma and mild bitterness. It was very delicious. While we were there, some customers came to buy beans, so it seems like a shop that is highly valued by locals. Thank you for the meal!

This is a place in Minami-ku, along the road to Lake Shikotsu from Sapporo on Route 453, near the Joban area. The shop is called "Yamagara Coffee." The shop is located inside a large building with three other shops. The shop owner seems to enjoy bird watching, as there are many bird photos on display. I purchased their original coffee blend, "Yamagara Blend," which had a strong roast and a slightly bitter taste. The price of 350 yen per 100g of coffee beans was quite reasonable considering the current high prices. I am interested in trying their Thai curry next time.

I also bought some baked goods at "Yamagala Coffee," which had a booth at Chikaho. I purchased a "Cinnamon Roll" and a "Bagel Blend" coffee. I accidentally reheated them in the wrong order, but it didn't affect the texture. The cinnamon roll had a nice cinnamon aroma, was fluffy and chewy with a slight crunch. It didn't have as much cinnamon flavor as expected, but had walnuts and moist raisins with a hint of cardamom. The coffee was dark roast but not too bitter, with a good balance of bitterness and acidity. I also tried a "Donut" which had a crispy texture and a bitter chocolate flavor with a nutty aroma. The "Schneeball" (Cinnamon) was a German pastry made by deep-frying a rope-shaped dough and dusting it with cinnamon sugar. It was crispy with a crunchy sugar texture, a simple and rustic flavor. I also tried a "Scone" and a "Rum Raisin Muffin," both small in size. The scone had whole wheat flour and no sweetness, with a crispy surface and a slightly undercooked center. The rum raisin muffin had a strong rum flavor, moist and adult-like. There were also bear-shaped cookies and waffles, making the selection of baked goods quite extensive. The store also serves curry, but unfortunately, it's too far for me to visit. It would have been nice to be able to enjoy the coffee in the shop as well.
