Looking around, there were three four-person tables, two two-person tables, and a small raised corner area. The dishes arrived in about 15 minutes. The "Seafood Marinade" was beautifully presented in a transparent dish with scallops, shrimp, surf clams, and squid. Next, I tried the "Vongole Bianco." The pasta was al dente with a nice firm texture, and it had seven clams in it. The subtle saltiness was just right. The portion size was generous, the service was good, and I had a very pleasant dining experience. The "Vongole Bianco & Seafood Marinade" cost 980 yen including tax. I could hear the kitchen staff engaging in lively conversations.

They have various types of tarako spaghetti, so it's always hard to choose. But all of them are so deliciously packed with tarako flavor that I can't help but feel happy every time. The small pizza arrived promptly and seemed freshly baked. The pasta I chose was "Squid and Tarako (cod roe?)" which is a classic Japanese-style pasta. It was quite delicious, with tender squid and no fishy smell. The pasta itself could have been a bit more moist for my taste, but that's just personal preference. The coffee served after the meal had a pitcher of proper milk for adding, which was a nice touch. I turned it into a café au lait. I realized that the place was surrounded by women when I finished my coffee. There were even some young women around. It didn't really matter to me, so I left after finishing my coffee.

The "Your Choice Set" also comes in options of 2 items for 980 yen (pasta + 1 a la carte item) and 4 items for 1250 yen (pasta + 3 a la carte items). Overall, it is very reasonable. The Spaghetti Aglio e Olio was not too spicy, with a mild amount of olive oil. Even those who are not fans of the unique greasiness and spiciness should be fine with it. The cake was just the right size for after the meal, with a light and easy-to-eat texture. It disappeared quickly because it was so delicious. With this taste and portion size, the set menu is definitely worth the price.

Since we had a huge lunch, we weren't very hungry for dinner, so we decided to go for some light Italian food. However, we couldn't find a place that really caught our eye. So, we relied on our memories from the past and walked from the hotel to a place for pasta and pizza. The place was mostly busy during lunchtime and being a Sunday night, there were no other customers. It's located away from the city center in a residential area, so walking there after dark felt quite lonely (we only passed by one pedestrian and one bicycle). The homemade pasta and pizza were just like 7 years ago. They had a great set menu where you could choose your favorite pasta and add 1-3 items from appetizers, pizza, or drinks. We chose the drink and pizza set, and upgraded the pizza size from S to L so that everyone could share. Our group had different preferences, some ordered only pasta and drinks, while others went for the original set menu. The variety of pasta options was impressive. The food was served in the order of drinks, appetizers, pizza, and pasta, so those who didn't order appetizers had to wait while watching others enjoy theirs. The pizza, thin crust style, kept coming out one after another. I wonder how many pizzas they can bake at once. Finally, all the pasta dishes arrived at the same time. Those who had dessert included in their set menu got theirs first, while the rest had to wait. Some of us were already full, but that's just how it goes. We don't know when we'll be able to come back again, but we hope this place continues to thrive just like before.
