Reservations are released the day before. My friend managed to secure a reservation after a fierce battle. I've always wanted to go here, as the main shop only offers one menu item. The menu changes depending on the date. The interior of the shop has a peaceful cafe-like atmosphere with a villa-like feel. We were served a bite-sized big leaf shaved ice at the beginning, which was refreshingly delicious. It was quite innovative to have shaved ice before shaved ice. The menu explanations are placed on the table, adding to the enjoyment of the experience. After ordering, we waited for about 15 minutes. The shaved ice was packed with a whole peach, starting with mint, white peach, condensed milk, then transitioning to blueberry sauce, cookies, and coffee flavors towards the end to keep the taste fresh. There was also complimentary hot tea for self-service to keep warm while eating. The portion was huge, and even though we went on an empty stomach, we were stuffed by the end. Everyone finished their shaved ice quickly, but it was amazing. The ice was fluffy and not overly icy. It almost felt like eating cake. However, it does get cold properly. It's quite expensive, but it has a premium feel in various aspects, making it worth trying at least once. I will definitely try to make a reservation again next year! Thank you for the meal!

I finally got to visit a shop I've always wanted to go to. They have limited edition shaved ice, and I finally got to try it. It's recommended to arrive around 9 AM to get a ticket in order at Yamanokaze Machi. The tickets have QR codes, so you can scan them and they will notify you by email when it's your turn, allowing you to explore the area while you wait. Nearby, there is a bakery with slightly pricey items, but you can enjoy a foot bath for free and admire the view while you wait. The shaved ice is paid for in advance, and there are also cakes and panna cotta in the display case. The portions are quite generous and the shaved ice has various toppings so you won't get tired of it. The air conditioning is effective, so it can get chilly after eating, so it's a good idea to bring something to cover up. I had the peach shaved ice, which had a whole large peach used in the LL size. It started raining suddenly that day, so I felt quite cold after eating, but it was really delicious.

The shaved ice was delicious. The sablé in front of the shaved ice was a bit soggy from absorbing moisture. I recommend eating it first. The foot bath is free, so bring a towel and enjoy it. There was an option to pay for a forest bath, but I wasn't sure what that meant and the staff seemed busy to ask. The orders are served in the order of entry (reservation required), so it's better to have some extra time. Also, I was surprised that they only accepted cash for payment. Be aware of that.
