This review is about a restaurant or a hot spring blog. So which one is it? Honoka Group operates a chain of bathing facilities in the suburbs of Sapporo, including Ebetsu and Kitahiroshima. Among them, the recommended ones are the Ebetsu branch and this Kitahiroshima branch. The most appealing aspect is the low bathing fee. Both branches offer a wide range of bathing facilities, unlimited manga reading, and the option to use a rock bath (rental of large towels for an additional 100 yen). It's not just a spa, but a facility where you can spend the whole day, that's what "Honoka" is all about. Kitahiroshima's Honoka. There is actually no hot spring here, but they offer an artificial high-concentration carbonated spring that you can enjoy, so I drove from Otaru to experience it. Despite being artificial, the bubbles clinging to the body feel like those of a carbonated spring. I was able to enjoy a wonderful carbonated spring equivalent to the famous Ramune Onsenkan in Oita and was satisfied. Now, let's talk about the food. On weekdays, for 1,550 yen (plus 100 yen for rental of a large towel for the rock bath), you can enjoy both bathing and a meal...! There are two lunch options, a Chinese lunch (like a bento box) which Honoka is good at, and a yakiniku lunch (free rice refills). I was torn between the two but ended up choosing the yakiniku lunch because of the free rice refills. I handed the ticket I received at the reception to the staff and waited for my seat. Water is self-serve. ... In a few minutes, drinks and condiments were brought to the table. And soon after, the meat and rice arrived, along with miso soup. Today, I have no companion... It's time for a solo yakiniku experience~! Hmm... - Two thin slices of pork loin. They cooked quickly and were tough. There's no sense of pork loin in them. - The hormone was cooked crispy. Oh, yeah. It's actually delicious. I don't usually eat hormone at yakiniku restaurants, but this one is tasty. - Chicken thigh (on the right in the photo). Is it seasoned? It has a miso-like flavor. Is this really chicken thigh? But the rice goes well with it. It has a taste that makes you want to eat more. - Chicken tenderloin (on the left in the photo). This is the most appetizing. It's a classic. The meat is tender and the fat content is just right. It's delicious. It goes well with sauce or lemon juice. - Ichibo (in the middle of the photo). I think it's "ichibo," but even when cooked, it didn't seem that special. It's a rare cut, so maybe I just didn't cook it properly, but I didn't feel the deliciousness. I wrote a lot, but first of all, the set of bathing and meal for 1,550 yen is a great deal. This is including tax. It was pay after service. In other words, you get an 800 yen meal with a 750 yen bathing fee, with 5 types of meat available. Free rice refills and one drink included. In such facilities, the options for meals at 800 yen are limited, so even though it's limited to weekdays, I think it's very good. I was able to spend a relaxing 6 hours from around 10 am to around 4 pm enjoying the baths, rock bath, and reading manga. In terms of cost performance, I think it's quite good.
