The recommended lunch set this week is Chicken Seseri Don, Shoyu Ramen, and a drink for 870 yen plus tax. I accidentally ordered the Salt Seafood Ramen, and they accepted it without saying anything. The Salt Seafood Ramen has a rich soup with a hint of meat juice. It's not bad, but it has a strong garlic flavor, which makes the soup too intense for me to drink. The noodles are transparent and resemble cold noodles, with a good texture. The chashu has a unique taste that I couldn't quite pinpoint, but it's interesting. Other ingredients are well-balanced in the ramen. If you're not a fan of artificial seasonings, it's better to avoid this dish. The Chicken Seseri Don seemed to be fried for too long, which made it hard to taste the sauce, so I couldn't enjoy it. The W Cream Puff was reminiscent of one I had at Patisserie Frere before, and I remembered that I didn't like cream after ordering it. The pastry was not baked in an oven but was firm. The whipped cream was rich and overwhelming, and the custard cream was too light and overpowered by the whipped cream, creating an unbalanced taste. It's a shame. However, not everything was bad as there are visually appealing and delicious cakes available. The iced coffee was the lowest-rated item due to its weak and unpleasant taste. This was my first time at Tokususan in years, and unfortunately, my aversion to some items remains. I would like to try the curry next time. I apologize for the harsh review. This winter, I realized that I hadn't been to Tokuju yet, so I decided to go there on Saturday. I arrived 5 minutes before opening and was the first in line. By opening time, there were already 20-30 people waiting. The place quickly filled up after opening. I decided to try the seafood sundubu jjigae instead of the usual BBQ set. I chose the second spiciest level and added mixed cheese to it. The stew was filled with scallops, shrimp, oysters, clams, tofu, and garlic chives. It was delicious, but I wished the scallops were a bit bigger. The cheese went really well with it, but I think the spiciest level would have been better. The rice portion was not that big even though I ordered the largest size. Next week, I will explore more places as I switch to using my cross bike.

I told the staff I was fine with any seat, and ended up sitting next to a group of five loud mothers and behind a group of three elderly ladies. It was noisy! I felt like telling them to eat quietly, but I held back because I'm a coward. The Japanese beef kalbi was delicious as usual! The half stone bibimbap was also tasty, although I realized that I prefer warm rice with my grilled meat. The whole strawberry dessert was a delightful combination of mousse, sponge cake, and a juicy strawberry, slightly on the sweet side but delicious. I later found out it was a popular product from Patisserie Fleur. Everything was delicious and worth the price. Sorry, I couldn't focus on the review due to the noise, but everything was delicious! The portion was generous with extra-large chashu and plenty of pork fat, and the noodles were large. The curry portion was small but the meat was tender, and it had an elegant Western-style roux curry. I would love to try their curry in a larger portion someday.
