食太食太
The area around the restaurant was crowded with parked cars, so I headed to what seemed like a shared parking lot across the street. The entrance looked like the entrance to a dormitory. I took off my shoes and put them in the shoe box, then changed into slippers before entering. However, I forgot to put on the slippers and felt a little embarrassed when I realized it later. Even though it was past 1 o'clock, the place was still busy. The seats on the second floor seemed popular. I had planned to go with the daily special, but when I asked the staff, they said it was mapo tofu, so I quickly changed my order to meat yakisoba for 890 yen. The staff told me it was yakisoba with soy sauce-based sauce. As expected from a Chinese restaurant, the dish was served promptly. It came on a deep plate, looking quite voluminous. There was a thick layer of oil around the edge of the plate. I could tell it was going to be very hot. The ingredients included pork, bamboo shoots, shimeji mushrooms, cabbage, and some green vegetables that I couldn't identify. The noodles were cooked just right. The taste was good! It was delicious, and I could see why it was popular. The portion size also felt generous. However, personally, I felt that there was too much oil throughout the dish. When I visited before, I had various negative experiences, but this time, I had a good impression, including of the staff. Next time, I might go for the daily special, fried rice, a set with ramen, or a Chinese chirashi.
