Visited for dinner. I was in Iwanai Town for work. Discovered this place while wandering around! Managed to get a seat at the counter and decided to dine in. Ordered 'Kirin Lager Beer Draft,' 'Hatsu' x2, 'Chicken Cartilage' x2, 'Pork Skewers' x2, 'Pork Tongue' x2, and 'Potato.' The skewers were all delicious♫ They were freshly made and had amazing seasoning. The potatoes were exceptional, I could eat them endlessly(^^) Definitely a place I want to visit again. It seems that the head chef of the restaurant had some misfortune, so the person who took over changed the name of the restaurant and started afresh. I heard from regular customers that it was quite tough, but I'm relieved that the unflappable female owner and the familiar menu are still here. The yakitori is great, but the miso hormone hot pot here is exceptional. Kids will love it for sure! And the rice balls are delicious. A must-order dish. It seems like they are considering introducing limited-time menu items and daily specials based on fresh ingredients. I want to support them as a beacon of light in this small port town.

This is a cozy izakaya with a counter and small raised tatami seating area. They are known for their delicious yakitori and homely atmosphere. They kindly ask how you like your chicken liver cooked, which is much appreciated. Everything I tried was delicious. The food was so tasty and the atmosphere was warm, I definitely want to visit again. They have a wide selection of keep bottles, and it seems like a popular spot for regular customers. This is a place I would go to when feeling lonely and wanting to lift my spirits. Thank you for the wonderful meal.
