This is a specialty shop for tantan noodles located on the street in front of Senba Park. I visited on a weekday night and had to wait a bit as it was full. There are about 7 counter seats and one table. I ordered the white sesame tantan noodles and added a rice bowl with egg. The tantan noodles had a beautiful presentation, with the red color of the chili oil standing out on top of the sesame soup. It was topped with bok choy and minced meat miso. The soup was quite rich in sesame flavor. The white sesame tantan noodles had the lowest level of spiciness, so the heat was mild with a slight kick from the chili pepper, but I didn't feel much numbing sensation from the Sichuan pepper. The thin noodles paired well with the rich sesame soup. The atmosphere of the shop felt like a ramen shop, but I believe their tantan noodles are quite authentic Chinese. The rice bowl with egg was also delicious with a rich yolk. Overall, the quality was high and I was satisfied as it is a popular shop. They offer a variety of tantan noodles such as black sesame and curry, as well as water dumplings, so I would like to try more varieties. There are many bars around this area, so it seems like a good place to visit even after drinking. However, I later found out that rice and kimchi are all-you-can-eat for free if not left uneaten! It might be a good idea to come here on an empty stomach.

White sesame tantanmen for 1000 yen (ordered spicy)
Free if you finish the white rice and kimchi
Toppings include pork belly mince, green onions, sesame seeds, and Chinese cabbage bean sprouts. The noodles are medium-thin straight noodles. The soup is a white sesame tantan soup based on pork bones.
Visited on a Friday. Arrived around 18:05. Weather was sunny. No wait. Restaurant had one group of 4. Almost full upon leaving. Took about 8 minutes until the dish arrived.
Visited this highly acclaimed tantanmen shop known for its spiciness options. The rich and creamy white sesame combined with the umami of pork bones was exceptional. The numbing sensation of sansho pepper and its aromatic fragrance were also outstanding. The medium-thin noodles were smooth, with a good chew and excellent texture. The pork belly mince was spicy and flavorful, complemented by the crunchy texture of Chinese cabbage and bean sprouts. The table had green and red sansho pepper, ground sesame, apple vinegar, chili oil, and black pepper for seasoning options. I personally enjoyed adding plenty of ground sesame to the aromatic green sansho pepper and spicy red sansho pepper. The service of finishing the white rice and kimchi for free was a nice touch. The acidity of the kimchi was delightful. I finished off with tantan risotto. It was delicious - thank you for the meal.
The background music of Takuro Yoshida was great. The service by the owner was excellent.

White sesame tantan noodles for 1000 yen with a topping of a boiled egg for 100 yen. It's been about 4.5 years since I last went, but it was so delicious. I ended up talking about Ren and Rin for about 15 minutes. I was brought by a super Ren and Rin fan, and it was so delicious that I couldn't believe it. The rice and kimchi were free, and my stomach was so happy that it almost felt like a bug. I checked the menu again and saw that you can also get extra noodles. Next time, I'll make Ren, Rin, and Jin the main theme, along with rice, kimchi, and extra noodles. The fact that the restaurant's name is the same as a child's name is also the best.

I compared the ■① White Sesame Tantan Men ■② Red Spicy Tantan Men!
① White Sesame Tantan Men was not too spicy, even for someone who isn't good with spicy food! If you like spicy, you might want to add extra spiciness. I added cheese topping (¥200) and had risotto at the end.
② Red Spicy Tantan Men had less umami compared to White Sesame, but it was spicy! It reminded me of the Tantan Men at Tabucchan in Ura Namba.
The owner of the restaurant is a 50-year-old man with a strong personality and great communication skills. The restaurant was open even on the day before a typhoon. The interior had music by Takashi Nagabuchi playing, and it seemed like the owner was running the place alone. I really liked his personality.

Ran, Rin, and Jin-san had the spicy tantanmen with red soup. The soup was rich with a slight sourness, and plenty of meat miso. The thin straight noodles allowed you to fully enjoy the sesame flavor. Delicious. Although the spicy level might be too much for some, the white sesame tantanmen without spiciness received high praise from family members who don't like spicy food. Also, the fried rice was incredibly delicious. Simply put, it's delicious.

Visited a famous restaurant known for its tantanmen and tried the red cha shu topping. It felt like something was lacking in flavor... I could taste the saltiness strongly. Also, the kimchi that was available for unlimited servings was quite sour. It might have just been a one-off bad experience, but if not, it could be inconsistent quality.

Next to Senmachi Park, there is a favorite tantanmen (spicy sesame noodle) shop ✨✨ White sesame tantanmen for ¥1000, which has increased by ¥100 this month~ Personally, I like the white sesame tantanmen the best. It's consistently delicious. I also love their water dumplings here, the sauce is so tasty. They have various additional condiments for you to customize your dish. It was delicious again today~ I'll definitely go back! The payment method is interesting, it's a trust-based system where you put the money in a container at the entrance and take the change from the same container. Amazing, right? I wanted to eat Tantanmen, so I was taken to a restaurant. It was delicious! Even though it was short-staffed and fully booked, the atmosphere was cheerful with BGM by Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi, making the waiting time exciting. Being served in a cheerful manner is really pleasant. They have various condiments available for flavor customization, so you can enjoy eating without getting bored. The risotto made with the remaining soup was surprisingly delicious and rich. Definitely try adding vinegar when eating it. I had the white sesame Tantanmen today, but I want to try the black sesame Tantanmen next time. I will definitely visit again!

I went there after a long time! Personally, the tantanmen here is my favorite. It's super delicious!!! You can choose the spiciness level from spicy, mild, to none. Even though I'm not good with spicy food, I can still enjoy it when I ask for mild spiciness. For first-timers, I recommend starting with the most popular dish, the white sesame tantanmen!

I had the white sesame tantan noodles. The restaurant is close to Kansai TV and there are many celebrity autographs inside. The miso flavor was strong and very delicious. The friendly owner runs the place alone, and you pay by putting money in a box at the entrance and taking your change.笑

Order: White tantanmen around 2:00 PM on a weekday. The restaurant is located about a 5-minute walk from JR Temma Station, in a small and cozy setting. Inside, live recordings of Takashi Nagabuchi's concerts are playing, giving a masculine vibe. The owner is a cool guy with a beard, a bit intimidating but provides polite service and leaves a good impression. As a tantanmen specialty shop, there are various types of tantanmen on the menu. I decided to start with the number 1, the white tantanmen, which is recommended for beginners. Rice and kimchi are complimentary and self-service. How thoughtful! I enjoyed some kimchi rice before my bowl arrived. The ramen had a strong spice aroma and was authentically spicy. The finely chopped Chinese cabbage was a nice touch. Tantanmen is best enjoyed by scooping up the minced meat with a hollow spoon, but this place had plenty of vegetables, so I used the spoon for everything. The noodles were thin and had a good chew, blending well with the spicy soup. Personally, I thought this place ranked high among tantanmen restaurants in Osaka.

Searched on Tabelog and visited for the first time. Ordered the most popular dish, the white tantanmen, and enjoyed unlimited rice and kimchi for free. The ramen was so delicious that I wanted to eat it again and again, with a rich soup and thin noodles that paired well. The owner had a strong presence and customers who order ramen can enjoy unlimited rice and kimchi, but will be charged 200 yen for leftovers, possibly to reduce waste. The self-payment system and customer trust system added to the overall experience.

I have been visiting this restaurant near Temma and Nakazaki in the Fancho Park for about 3 years since I started living in Osaka. The atmosphere of the restaurant is filled with the music of Takuro Yoshida, and it is run by a cool middle-aged man. Even though he is busy working alone, he always welcomes you with a smile, which is amazing. They have a red-black tantanmen, and I always order the black one. The deep umami flavor of black sesame and the tender chashu are delicious, and I have never had a better lunch tantanmen than here. Definitely worth a try!

- Ordered item: White sesame tantan noodles for 900 yen
- Food: For lunch, rice and kimchi are all-you-can-eat. However, the tantan noodles themselves were quite generous in portion. It had a medium level of richness, more on the lighter side. The noodles were thin with plenty of vegetable toppings. It would have been even better with some chunky chashu on top.
- Atmosphere: The payment process is unique, like putting money into a donation box. There seemed to be many regular customers.

White sesame tantan noodles (900 yen). A 5-minute walk from Temma Station, no waiting outside and no waiting time. Even though I went late at night, there were many customers inside. The interior is filled with many signs and messages to strengthen ideology. The tantan noodles had just the right amount of spiciness for me. The extra bean sprouts and bok choy added a nice crunchy texture. The noodles were well coated and delicious. The portion was generous and satisfying.

Around 3:30 p.m. on a Sunday, just a 3-minute walk from JR Temmabashi, this place is located on the north side of Ogimachi Park and is also close to Ogimachi Station. It's convenient that they have continuous business hours during idol time. Inside the shop where Takashi Nagabuchi's songs are playing, there is an L-shaped counter that can seat about 6 people and one table for 4 people. After ordering from the cool and friendly owner, I enjoyed a blend of jasmine and oolong tea while waiting for my dish. The strikingly black soup with red accents was topped with plenty of vegetables and large slices of chashu. The main difference from the white sesame tantanmen is that this black sesame tantanmen has three slices of chashu instead of minced meat. While the white sesame tantanmen had a delicious blend of the richness of minced meat and the smooth, sweet fragrance of white sesame, this black sesame tantanmen had a well-balanced soup with the bitterness of black sesame, the spiciness of chili oil, and the umami of pork bones, all in a slightly thin and smooth texture. The large slices of chashu were flavorful with a good amount of lean meat. The crunchy texture of the Chinese cabbage, leeks, and bean sprouts added a nice accent to the spicy soup. The thin straight noodles didn't overpower the soup's flavor, allowing you to fully enjoy its richness. With many options for flavor variations, I look forward to trying more in the future. Payment was self-service at a small box near the exit. It's somewhat spicy, so I recommend starting with the white sesame tantanmen. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered the spicy tan-tan noodles in red sauce. It was the most delicious tan-tan noodles I've ever had! Lunch comes with free rice and kimchi, which is great! There were several free flavoring options like sesame miso, which made the meal enjoyable. The level of spiciness was just right for me and it was delicious!

Black sesame tantan noodles for 1,000 yen. The appearance alone sparks high expectations. Instead of meat miso, there is a generous serving of chashu pork sitting atop the noodles, accompanied by Chinese cabbage, green onions, and bean sprouts. Plus, it comes with all-you-can-eat kimchi, meaning you can eat all of it and still consume zero calories. The sharp flavor of the black sesame tantan noodles complements the slightly chewy thin noodles well. Listening to BOOWY's "moral" in the background, I couldn't help but reminisce about my middle school days and shout in my mind, "I love other people's misfortunes!" as I shoveled in the unlimited rice. It was truly a sublime experience. Great restaurant.

While walking in Senmachi, I suddenly felt a craving for noodles, so I decided to visit "Menya Ren to Rin" (Noodle Shop Lotus and Cold) (´∀`). I ordered their "Black Curry Tan Tan Men" with a spicy kick. As I listened to the background music of long-established sounds, I felt manly and after about 10 minutes, my meal arrived ♪( ´θ`). The curry had a high level of spiciness with a rich sesame flavor, and the strong heat made my pores open wide ♡ It was a detox time. The large rare slices of pork had a delicious meaty flavor, and the charred crispy parts of the pork belly were irresistible. Even though it was a one-man operation, the ingredients were not skimped on and were very delicious (*´꒳`*). When I mixed in the cheese and brought it to my mouth, the noodles, with their firm texture, were a perfect match for the aggressive and deep soup. I managed to resist the temptation of the all-you-can-eat rice, and I must say I am proud of myself ♡ I paid at the self-checkout today, and it made me happy to feel trusted (о´∀`о). This was my 138th bowl of noodles this year ☆★★ (Broth: 97, Noodles: 36, Others: 5).

This is my first post even though it's not my first visit! The photo is of black sesame curry tantanmen. This restaurant is unique because you can't see inside from the outside, so it can be a bit nerve-wracking the first time. There is no line inside, so the number of people outside is the same as the number waiting. The main dish is tantanmen, but they also have regular ramen. Rice and kimchi are all-you-can-eat. They also have a variety of condiments for flavor customization. It's one of my favorite ramen shops.
