The "Shottsuru-kei niboshi black" (1000 yen) that caught my attention before but never had the chance to try has now been upgraded to a stronger version. I heard that it will be available for 3-4 days starting yesterday, so I had to go. It has been 5 months since my last visit. The broth, centered around shottsuru and enhanced with strong boiled dried sardines, is a powerful combination of flavors. It's salty, but the richness of the dried sardines is amazing, making it hard to stop eating. The absence of any rough texture from the dried sardines is also nice. The medium thick noodles go well with the broth, and the extra seaweed on top complements it perfectly. A small bowl of rice is also included. This is a dish that I definitely want to try again.

I arrived around 11:30 on Saturday and was able to enter immediately without waiting in line, but the counter was already full, so I had to share a table with someone else. I ordered by using numbers and then put money in the container on the counter. The soup that was served was clear and delicious, with a slight bitterness from the dried sardines but not overpowering, thanks to the addition of pork bone. The noodles were firm and chewy, providing a satisfying texture. There were two types of chashu pork, each with a different texture, and both were tasty. The chashu topping added a nice touch to the soup. Mixing in the dried sardine paste on top enhanced the flavor without being too strong. The seaweed on top was a unique addition. I also learned that they offer salt and mazesoba on their menu, so I look forward to trying more dishes in the future.

Yes, it's ramen time! "Unique ramen specialty store, Ibagu Washizukami" "Sudachi and simmered fish cold ramen 1,100 yen". On this day, I visited "Ibagu Washizukami" located near Shitennoji. I saw cold noodles on my timeline and suddenly decided to visit as usual (laughs). The interior of the store has 3 counter seats and table seats. Only table seats were available, but they offered to share the table. Not ideal... but since there were no other seats available, I sat at the table. I ordered the cold "Sudachi and simmered fish cold ramen". After a short wait, the dish arrived. [Visual] A refreshing bowl served in a transparent glass bowl. I was surprised to see mustard! I wonder if mustard and simmered fish soup go well together?! It's exciting (laughs). [Soup] First, I tried the soup as it is... Mmm!! The gentle flavor of simmered fish broth is heartwarming. [Noodles] The noodles were straight and easy to slurp, similar to cold wheat noodles. When combined with simmered fish broth, it's hard to tell if it's ramen or cold wheat noodles... But as long as it's delicious, it's all good! (laughs) [Toppings] The chicken chashu was moist and really delicious! In addition to refreshing toppings such as pickles, myoga, and sudachi, there were fried onions and whole grain mustard! You might be surprised, but the whole grain mustard with its acidity was a nice accent! This was unexpected! Finished it all with a crunch. It was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

The owner of the original ramen shop reopened on February 21, 2022 at a new location with a new name. This was my second visit since the opening! The shop is run by one person, so they require payment upfront and may have shared seating. The owner guided me inside. Since I had the rich soy sauce ramen last time, I ordered the "shoyu ramen" this time. The soup was full of umami and had a nice chewy texture to the noodles. The texture of the green onions was also great! The shop has been consistently full with a line outside. It's very popular!

Soy sauce ramen for 950 yen, 6 slices of chashu for 350 yen, canned beer for 350 yen. This is the Osaka price. The cost performance is really good! You will understand once you taste it. To cut to the chase, the soup and chashu are both incredibly delicious. The egg, flat curly noodles, and overall dish were perfectly executed. I visited this place near my hometown that I was curious about when I went back to visit. When I arrived, the owner promptly cleaned the table and I sat down. The service was excellent from the start. The food arrived in about 5 minutes after ordering. The soup, with a hint of soy sauce, was clear and light. The chashu peeking out from the bowl was accompanied by a luxurious touch of fish paste, seaweed, and green onions. I took a sip of the soup first... and it was delicious! It had a natural sweetness without the fishy taste overpowering it. Next, I tried the chashu. It was also delicious! Ordering a canned beer was a good choice. The chashu was incredibly tender, bringing out the natural flavor of the meat while being healthy. Finally, the noodles. They had a satisfying chewiness, perfectly coated in the exquisite soup. I mixed in the fish paste and seaweed and enjoyed every last bite. I wanted to drink all the soup, but I resisted... I will definitely come back when I visit my hometown again! It was delicious! Thank you for the meal! The best!!

For lunch on this day, I visited this restaurant. I parked my car at a coin parking lot about 200 meters away and walked to the restaurant. There was already one customer waiting in front of the store, so I waited my turn. Shortly after, a couple left and I entered the restaurant at the same time as the customer in front of me. The restaurant was small with only 3 counter seats and one 4-person table. They had a system where you order by number from the menu. I ordered the recommended soy sauce ramen (medium noodles) with special toppings (4 slices of chashu, 5 pieces of wonton, and a boiled egg) by specifying numbers 2 and 6. The customer in front of me paid upfront by putting cash in a basket-like container on the counter. I noticed a sign in the basket reminding customers to try to pay exact change. I paid with a 10,000 yen bill. The food arrived shortly after and it was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Let's try a highly rated but unvisited restaurant - after finishing a meeting in Abeno around 1 pm, I decided to have a late lunch. I visited the unique ramen specialty shop "Ibukuro Washi Zukami" for the first time. It was a bit of a walk from the nearest station, and I couldn't find the bus stop, so I ended up walking about 2 kilometers under the scorching sun with no wind (laughs). It was so hot, incredibly hot (sweating). Like in a certain taxi app commercial, I tried to find shade as much as possible while walking (laughs). Oh no, my phone overheated and shut down (sweating). Trying to remember the map, I managed to arrive after a bit of wandering around. Arrival time: 1:45 pm, Number of customers: 2. I ordered soy sauce ramen with a boiled egg topping. The ramen was served in about 5 minutes. You order by menu number, then put money in a basket on the counter by your seat to pay. It's an interesting system. The soup had a clear taste that almost made me think it was salt, despite being soy sauce-based. The rich flavor of the dried fish was prominent, giving depth to the soup. The clear sweetness and saltiness of the soup were a refreshing oasis for me in the sweltering heat. The pork bone broth added a hearty satisfaction to the soup. The thick, hand-cut flat curly noodles were chewy and flavorful. I enjoyed adding the dried fish ball and seaweed to the noodles and mixing it into the soup for variety. The transition from clear to slightly cloudy soup was subtle but kept the flavors interesting. The chashu pork was simple and delicious, with two slices of different cuts. The boiled egg was perfectly cooked, with a nice balance between firm and soft. Overall, the ramen was satisfying and delicious, with a clear and balanced flavor profile. I preferred it over the heavier tonkotsu ramen. I was thoroughly satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

I am "Noronori", who mainly walks around eating lunch, mainly in Sakai. I visited this restaurant based on a recommendation from an acquaintance. It is a small restaurant with 3 counter seats and 1 table for 4 people. The counter was full, so we were seated at a table. Although the limited-time special menu looked tempting, I decided to go with the soy sauce ramen that was recommended. While waiting, one customer at the counter left. Soon after, a group of 3 people arrived and one of them said, "Oh, I'll move to the counter." They moved to the counter before the ramen arrived, which was fortunate. They would have said the same thing even while eating. By the way, payment is made in advance, so it's best to have the exact amount ready. The soy sauce ramen looked like black sesame paste. When I tried a bite, there was a rough paste on top - maybe dried fish powder? Mixing the rough paste into the soup made it incredibly delicious. It might be better to mix it in early on. Thank you for the meal.

The soy sauce ramen was delicious. The noodles were medium thickness and curly, which made them mix well with the soup. The soup had a strong flavor from the broth but was also light, making it easy to drink. There were 3 seats at the counter and 1 table, I think? I went before 12 pm and was able to get in smoothly, but there was a line forming afterwards.

Arrived around 2 pm on Sunday and thought I could easily get in, but there were already 3 people waiting in line...2 people...I decided to line up and luckily, we were seated in about 10 minutes! While waiting, I looked at the menu and decided on the "Rich Soy Sauce Ramen" in a large size. I also added a special topping (4 slices of chashu, 1 wonton, boiled egg), green onions, and extra pork fat. When the ramen arrived, it looked delicious! The green onions were white, which I love! The chashu was tender with a slightly rare texture, and the soup had a rich flavor. The wonton got a bit clumped together, but it was still good. The seaweed that came with it added a nice aroma to the soup as I ate. I also appreciated the garlic and ginger available at the counter for adjusting the flavor to my liking. I forgot that I don't like medium-thick noodles, so I'll try the thin noodles with salt ramen next time! Thank you for the meal!

I had a training session near the Yūhigaoka Station in front of Shitenno-ji Temple, and decided to have lunch before the training. It's a ramen shop located about a 10-minute walk from the station. The interior of the shop is small, with 3 counter seats and 1 table seat. The payment is made in advance, by placing the money in a basket located in front of the counter seats. I ordered the recommended Shoyu Ramen (950 yen) by showing the order number to the staff. It took about 10 minutes for the ramen to be served. The noodles were described as medium thick, but they felt thicker compared to other shops. They were flat and had a satisfying texture, which may vary depending on personal preference. The soup had a slight transparency but was richer than it appeared. It was topped with seaweed paste, a flavorful sauce similar to dried bonito broth, green onions, and chashu pork. The seaweed went really well with the soup, and the chashu pork was not too thick, with some fatty parts that complemented the soy-based soup. I found the ramen to have a unique flavor. I don't have many opportunities to visit this shop due to the limited use of the station, and I don't think I would deliberately go there again. Since the noodles were not to my personal liking, my rating is average.

I arrived around 12:30 and there was no line, with two customers already at the counter. Orders were placed by number on the menu. Payment was made first in a system where you place money in a basket-like container. I ordered the "Niboshi Black" from the back of the menu. More customers started arriving and lining up after I ordered. Many of them seemed like regulars and ordered a secret menu item that seemed to only be on Instagram. I wish I had ordered it too. My food arrived in about 10 minutes and the soup was delicious! The noodles were also to my liking. I definitely want to go back.

Today's lunch was devil's food. I came to Tennoji. I woke up at 6 o'clock and arrived at Tennoji at 12 o'clock. I've been needing to come to Tennoji for about a month, but for some reason, we ended up getting off the train right at lunchtime. It would have been fine to have brunch, but why did we have to come at the busiest time? When I asked what to eat, my partner just kept looking without consulting me. Even though I said I didn't really want to eat ramen, we ended up walking over a kilometer in the scorching heat to this restaurant. In Tennoji, there are supposedly high-rated restaurants near the station, so why here? In our household where a planner like me and an unplanned person like my partner live, this kind of situation happens quite often. And whenever I voice my opinion, my partner always gets annoyed. Men are truly sad creatures. Working hard to earn money to eat, it's more nerve-wracking than an empty stomach. Sweaty and tired, we arrived at this restaurant. As expected, there were a few people waiting, mostly young people. They had rickety stools for waiting customers, making it uncomfortable for someone like me with a large body to sit. So, I had to stand and wait. After about 30 minutes, we were asked if we were okay with sharing a table with someone else, and we reluctantly agreed. I ordered the mixed noodles for 1150 yen, and my partner ordered soy sauce ramen for 950 yen. We had to pay upfront, which was a bit off-putting. The overall customer service was below par. The ramen arrived, and it wasn't bad, but it wasn't particularly delicious either. It had a strong broth and thick noodles. The flavor was decent but had a slight bitterness. I couldn't help but think of the much better mixed noodles I had at another restaurant in Tenma. If I have the chance, I might try the ramen with soup next time. Thank you.

I saw @ibukurowasidukami's reel and felt like eating, so I tried this hidden menu item that is not listed on the menu. It's only available for followers, so check the store's Instagram for more details. The soup has a rich aroma of sweet shrimp and is so flavorful. It's like nothing I've ever had before! The base is salt, but is this even considered ramen? Pork bone, soy sauce, salt, miso, sweet shrimp. It's a whole new genre of ramen. It was so delicious that I finished every drop of the soup and the noodles were also tasty. I want to come back as long as this menu is available! It was seriously the best!! (limited vocabulary) My taste buds were truly captivated. Thank you for the meal.

It was quite difficult to find a parking lot. There are a few parking lots nearby, but they are not right next to the store. The interior of the store has a counter and one booth seat, and it is clean and has a sense of cleanliness. I ordered the recommended soy sauce ramen! The soup is clear but has a punch and is quite tasty. The noodles are medium thick, but they have a firm texture and are satisfying to eat. It is a ramen that can be enjoyed thoroughly even with soy sauce ramen. I would like to try a different menu next time.

Hidden menu - Shottsuru-style Boshiblack regular serving for 1000 yen. Although I am not familiar with Shottsuru, I decided to challenge this hidden menu item. The sharp flavor of the Shottsuru soup paired well with the noodles, providing a refreshing yet impactful taste with each bite. It was a unique flavor that I had never experienced before. The meal also came with white rice, allowing me to enjoy the soup until the very end. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I had been curious about the limited ramen available only to followers, the "Shrimp Salt Ramen" priced at 1100 yen. Finally, I was able to order it! As I approached the restaurant, the savory scent of boiled shrimp filled the air. Non-followers might find it strange why a ramen shop specializing in dried fish broth would have the scent of shrimp. Soon, the ramen arrived, and the shrimp aroma tantalized my senses. I took a sip of the soup. Wow, it's delicious! I was expecting a strong shrimp flavor, but it was surprisingly gentle. Is this sweet shrimp? The shrimp umami enhanced the saltiness, creating a blissful salt aroma in every bite. The noodles were glossy, smooth, and chewy. Toppings included spinach, onions, and scallions, with the aroma of sakura shrimp adding to the appetite. The chashu consisted of both belly and loin cuts, with the belly chashu being particularly tender. The balance of soup and noodles was just right, and before I knew it, the bowl was empty. I thoroughly enjoyed it! Next time, I might go back to basics with a soy sauce ramen or perhaps try the mixed noodles. I can't wait to try the cold noodle series starting next week, especially the cold noodles from Ibukuro Washizukami-san. I hope they use dried fish broth creatively. Thank you, Ibukuro Washizukami-san, for always serving delicious ramen! Grazie Mille!

The hidden menu item was so delicious. I arrived at 11:25 on Monday with 4 other customers. I decided to order the Instagram follower limited ramen without hesitation. The "Rich Sweet Shrimp Salt Ramen" for ¥1100 was not too rich, as described, but had a rich shrimp flavor. It was irresistible for someone like me who loves shrimp. The vacuum-sealed noodles were difficult to describe, thin but with a unique chewy texture. The noodles, which I was already familiar with from a previous restaurant, had a whole wheat aroma. As always, the owner of this restaurant makes delicious chashu. The soup was so good that I almost finished it all. This restaurant frequently releases various limited items, so I will have to visit regularly. With a rating of 3.65 on Tabelog during this limited period, it is truly a restaurant with exceptional skills. Thank you for the meal!

Located right next to Shitennoji Temple, this popular dried fish ramen shop is bustling with customers. I visited for the first time on a weekday afternoon and only had to wait a few minutes before being seated. The interior of the shop has a counter with 4 seats and one table that can accommodate 4 people. Customers place their orders by number from the menu and pay upfront. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen (medium thickness noodles) for 950 yen, with an extra serving for 150 yen, and a special topping of 4 slices of chashu, 5 wontons, and a boiled egg for 400 yen. The soup had a rich umami flavor from a blend of animal and seafood broth, with a strong dried fish taste that paired perfectly with the thick, handmade noodles. The toppings included two types of chashu, a boiled egg, wontons, seaweed, and fish powder paste. Mixing in the fish powder and seaweed into the soup added a nice flavor variation. The attentive service and the attention to quality ingredients made this a ramen shop worth revisiting.

I had a late lunch at 3pm and headed to Tsukami-san, where I had to wait due to it being full. After about 10 minutes, I was able to get inside. This place operates on a system where you order by number and put money in a basket. This time, I ordered the special topping with rich soy sauce ramen that I had enjoyed before. The special topping comes with plenty of char siu, wontons, and a boiled egg, making it very filling. The soup has a strong flavor of dried sardines, and it tastes amazing when you drink it with chopped green onions. The curly flat medium noodles go well with the soup, creating a perfect match. I finished every drop of the soup, it was a delicious bowl of ramen!

Arrived on a weekday around 6:20 PM. There was one customer ahead of me. Orders are taken by number. Please put your money in the basket while waiting. The owner is working alone. They prefer exact change if possible. I recommend the soy sauce ramen with a boiled egg topping. It is full of delicious broth flavor and the noodles are chewy.
