I went to Ramensho Rekishi o Kizame Shimoshinjo Honten for the first time in a while. I ordered the soupless ramen in regular size. The noodle portion was 300g (900 yen). I asked for less garlic, and I got a separate plate of vegetables and a bowl of oil. I didn't add any extra toppings. There was a note on the counter saying to try using the original call when ordering toppings, with examples like "Yasai yama no gotoshi." I was persuaded by my junior to call out "Yasai Abura Dynamite Body," and the staff even double-checked if I was sure. So I ordered extra Dynamite Body again. The vegetables on the separate plate and the oil in the bowl arrived (usually, the vegetables are served on a small stainless steel plate). The amount of vegetables was a bit more than usual, and there was so much oil that it felt like a soup. The vegetables were cooked just right, the noodles were firm, and the chashu was tender and delicious. However, as I was leaving, the staff commented, "If you can handle this, you should try the 'large' size next time, you looked comfortable." It made me happy but also felt pressured for the next visit. 😅

Arrived at the restaurant at 10:30 on a holiday and waited for an hour and a half. The cheerful and friendly customer service was excellent. I ordered noodles with less toppings and no garlic. It was a portion size that even women could eat! It was my first time trying Jiro-style ramen. The rich flavor was very addictive and delicious. Thank you for the meal!

It had been about 5 years since my last visit. There were about 10 people waiting in line. They had manga available to read while waiting. I bought my meal ticket first and then waited. The staff was friendly and energetic. The noodles were thick and chewy, with a bit of sauce, 200g of garlic, and less oil. The vegetables were crunchy and delicious. The oil was served on the side. It would have been nice to have some spice like shichimi togarashi added.

I used it alone after work. Just before the Bon Festival, when I arrived around 18:15, there were about 20 people waiting in line. I waited for about 30 minutes and ordered the pork ramen with extra everything. The taste of the noodles, soup, and chashu were all to my liking. The soy sauce-based broth was delicious with good noodle texture. I felt that the garlic was moderate even with extra. The portion was generous, so I still feel that the 400g size of Jiro ramen suits me best.

Just a 3-minute walk from Hankyu Senri Line's Shimoshinjo Station, you'll find "Rekishi wo Kizame," a Jiro-inspired ramen shop. When I arrived after 8 PM, there was already a line of over 10 people. I bought my ticket first and waited in line, and in about 30 minutes, I was inside the shop. The energetic staff members provided excellent customer service. I ordered the regular ramen (with extra garlic and extra oil) and it was just as impressive as the original Jiro ramen! The pork was tender, and the noodles were thick and satisfying. Since it was my first time, I didn't add extra bean sprouts, so I found the portion a bit small for me (I recommend adding extra vegetables for most men). Next time, I'll try adding extra vegetables.

This is the famous main branch of "Ramen Sou: Carve the History", located just a short walk from Hankyu Shimoshinjocho. When I visited around 7:30 pm on a Saturday, there was a long line in front of the store. I waited for about an hour and a half to get in. The rich and bold flavor with thick curly noodles was delicious and satisfying. It had a addictive taste that makes you want to come back for more.

Ramen (regular size) for 900 yen With garlic, extra vegetables "I won't lose to these young folks," I thought to myself as I arrived. I visited a Jiro-style ramen shop in Osaka. The customers waiting in line were mostly teenagers and people in their 20s, but there were also a few women. I felt like I was the only old man there. The energetic staff called the customers "niichan" (big brother), but they used polite language when speaking to me. I couldn't back down and settle for a smaller portion, so I ordered the regular size with 350g of noodles. I added extra vegetables to balance out the calories. The portion filled me up, but the flavor was intense. The vegetables (bean sprouts) were good for sinking into the soup, but I wished the noodles were a bit smoother. The chashu pork was easy to eat, with the fat removed. I think I'll come back with my son next time.

History is engraved at the main store, and it was a long time since Masakun visited. He used to train at Masa's camp for 500 yen about 15 years ago, and he has grown into a splendid chef. We both are getting older (laughs). It was Friday afternoon before opening, with about 10 people waiting in line. They no longer call out before opening, I thought to myself as I entered. I got my bowl in the second batch, and it arrived just 15 minutes after opening. I had the regular style with no soup, garlic, and extra oil. The sweet sauce, garlic, and pepper blended well, with a nice balance. The pork had a good chewy texture, and a slight jerky-like feel which was nice. I finished my meal in about 3 minutes and left the restaurant. I always feel hungry after finishing my meal, I wonder why...

I was unsure if 300g would be enough, so I ordered 200g without soup, with 2 slices of cheese, garlic, some vegetables, and extra oil. The staff were lively, which was nice. The chashu was tender, and the cheese paired well with the noodles, so I didn't get tired of eating until the end.

I went to a famous Kansai Jiro-style ramen shop called Rekishi. In the past, I had tried their regular ramen and found the soy sauce-based soup too strong for my liking. However, I recently became interested in oil noodles and soupless noodles, so I decided to revisit the shop to try their soupless ramen. I ordered the soupless ramen with extra pork fat, garlic, and 400g of noodles. The result was amazing. The combination of richness and flavor was perfect, especially if you like spicy food. I think skipping the pork and adding extra vegetables might be a good idea next time. I will definitely consider revisiting when I crave soupless ramen again.

I used to go to Butayama recently because it was convenient, but since it's a holiday, I decided to visit today. I ordered the soupless ramen again. At the end of the term, I had to take paid leave at short notice and since I had nothing to do, I went to a ramen restaurant that I couldn't visit before, after the gym. Despite it being a weekday at 2 o'clock and raining, there were 6 people in line. This place operates on a system where you buy a meal ticket first and then line up. I bought a regular pork ramen. I was able to enter and eat without much waiting. The taste was spicy and the noodles were just right. I was worried if I could finish the 300g portion with extra pork, but surprisingly, it was an easy win. Personally, I like to add some spice while eating, so it would have been even better if there was some available. If it's not crowded, I would like to come back again.

Pork ramen without soup (with garlic and spicy seasoning). It was incredibly well-balanced and one of the most delicious Jiro-style ramen I've ever had. The noodles were just right, the soup base was perfect, and I left completely satisfied. Even though I arrived at 11:00, I didn't get my bowl until around 11:50, but it was definitely worth the wait. The staff was lively and provided great service. It's a great restaurant.

It was around 1:30 on a regular day and there were 20 people waiting outside. The line was still long, and there was trouble with the ticket machine, so I decided to wait without buying a meal ticket. The turnover seemed slower than usual today, with only 2-3 seats becoming available at a time. Around 2 o'clock, they counted the number of people waiting outside and put up a sold-out sign, so it's best to think of the closing time as being an hour earlier. Finally, after an hour, I was able to enter the restaurant. I was given a cup, a wet towel, a ladle, and disposable chopsticks. The chopsticks were stuck together in a questionable manner, but I had to use them. The cup and ladle didn't look very clean either. The broth was lukewarm, and there was a thick layer of oil on top. The soy sauce flavor was almost non-existent due to the excessive liquid oil. The pork was standard. The noodles were a unique type with a chewy texture. The seating was cramped, and I had to battle for elbow room with the person next to me. I wonder why the staff doesn't consider reducing the number of seats for better turnover and hygiene. If you don't mind these issues, you might enjoy the generous portion size. However, I couldn't find the captivating charm that would make me want to come back again. I left feeling full. After a long time, I visited Shimoniho to make another mark in history and arrived a little after 2 p.m. There was a line outside. Since it was close to the end of lunchtime, they asked me about the amount of noodles when I bought the meal ticket. Today, I chose 500g, and they asked me if I could finish it since it had been a while. I ordered with extra garlic, scallions, vegetables, and extra oil, and then the bowl arrived. The vegetables were delicious and disappeared in no time. Maybe I should have added extra toppings. I have been going to Mr. S's place a lot lately, but when compared, I feel like the soup here is slightly sweeter and easier to eat. Every time I go to either of these places, I am reminded of how delicious they are. I will definitely come back.

The taste was delicious, but the staff (kitchen staff) seemed a bit intimidating, so I couldn't enjoy my meal. The person who showed us to our table had a loud and cheerful voice, so it was disappointing because of the kitchen staff. Although I wasn't directly spoken to, I didn't feel very good.

This was my third time having Jiro-style ramen in my life. I had the impression that Jiro-style ramen places have scary staff, but the staff here were very kind and friendly. There are also lots of instructions inside the shop on how to order, making it easy for beginners to come in. Of course, the ramen itself was delicious too.

It was my first time visiting, and I've never been to a Jiro-style ramen place before, so I wasn't sure how to order. The staff kindly explained to me. They were friendly and cheerful, which left a good impression. I ordered the pork ramen with 200g of noodles, extra vegetables and garlic. I didn't dislike the texture of the noodles, but I couldn't really taste the flavor of the soup. As I was leaving, they called out to me. If I were to come back, I would order 150g of noodles, extra vegetables and garlic, extra lard, and extra spiciness.
