During my gourmet trip in Osaka, I visited this tsukemen restaurant near my accommodation. The tsukemen here follows the trendy style but with a refreshing twist by adding sudachi, allowing for a light and enjoyable meal. I also ordered the negi chashu donburi, which added to my satisfaction for the night.

A ramen shop near Fukushima Station in Osaka. The tsukemen is priced at 880 yen. The fish and pork bone soup is not too rich, with a slightly sweet flavor. They don't use raw onions, as some people may not like them, instead they squeeze sudachi over the noodles and add black shichimi pepper, reminiscent of Men Dokoro Nidaime Tsujita, but with a different soup flavor. The shichimi pepper from Gen Ryo Kaku is really good.

I came back to Osaka!!! For today's lunch, my friend wanted to eat tsukemen, so we went to Misawa♡ I had the boiled sardine tsukemen, and even just the noodles were delicious haha. The noodles were smooth and tasty. Putting in the grilled stone is a specialty, and at the end, you warm it up with the stone and drink the soup. #Osaka #OsakaGourmet #OsakaTsukemen #Tsukemen #OsakaRamen #Ramen #Fukushima #FukushimaGourmet #MisawaTsukemen #TabelogRating3.5Above #TabelogOsaka #TabelogHighRating #LikeBack

I entered the restaurant a little after 10:30 PM. There were many customers who seemed to have finished drinking and were about to leave. When I passed by around 8 PM, there was no one, but now the restaurant is full. It's unclear if the high rating is due to the fact that you can eat something cold and refreshing after drinking, but the tsukemen was just average. It's nice that they offer a service where you can grill your own stone.

Fukushima Station is a 2.3-minute walk away. This ramen shop has a rating of 3.64 on Tabelog. It is open until midnight, making it convenient for meals and late-night ramen cravings. Despite the high rating, it seems to be overshadowed in the competitive ramen scene in Fukushima. On this day, I had the "Niboshi Tsukemen with Egg Rice" set for 1,190 yen. I couldn't really tell the difference between the "Tsukemen" I had before and this "Niboshi Tsukemen," but both had a sweet dipping sauce. Some comments mention that it may be too sweet, so preferences may vary. I personally like it. Previously, it used to come with sudachi, but this time it came with grated ginger for flavor variation. I recommend adding it gradually as it can be strong when added all at once. They also offer "black shichimi" for flavor variation. It's great that they are open late and you can dine without waiting in line, which is appreciated by locals. Thank you for the meal.

I was drawn to a ramen shop near Fukushima Station that had a lively atmosphere and ordered the tsukemen with black oolong tea set. Despite being in a highly competitive ramen area and not expecting much due to its location along the road, I was pleasantly surprised. I followed the instructions to add onions and eat 1/3, add sudachi and eat another 1/3, sprinkle black pepper on the noodles, and finish the rest. I quickly finished it all. The noodles had a good chewiness, the broth had a strong seafood flavor, and it was exactly to my liking. I definitely want to go back. Fukushima has a lot of high-quality ramen shops.

Hello! Today, I visited Tsukemen Misawa Main Store in Fukushima and had their "Niboshi Tsukemen" (dipping noodles with dried sardine broth). The shop is located in a competitive ramen district in Osaka Fukushima with a distinctive yellow signboard. Upon arrival at 18:50, there were some customers already inside but no waiting line, so I was seated immediately. [Order] Niboshi Tsukemen - 980 yen (with a seasoned egg obtained by adding the shop as a LINE friend) Broth: The dipping sauce is made from a soup base of Kagoshima black pork head and Miyazaki chicken bones blended with three types of dried fish flakes. It has a slightly sweet and spicy taste with a hint of acidity, and a smooth texture. The flavor of dried sardines is not very pronounced. Noodles: The medium-thick noodles with a beautiful golden wheat color have a great texture, chewy and slightly sweet when eaten on their own. They complement the dipping sauce well. Toppings: Char siu, bamboo shoots, fish cake, and onion, along with the seasoned egg obtained with a first-time coupon. Each topping is delicious, but the shop also offers a variety of condiments for flavor enhancement. Grated ginger and black pepper add a nice touch to the noodles and broth, making them even more delicious. I finished by adding soup broth to the remaining dipping sauce and drinking it all up, along with warming it up with the heated stones. Thank you, Tsukemen Misawa Main Store, for the delicious meal! Today, I went to eat with my colleague Macaroni and Fukushima Stairway Sake. We started with ramen and tsukemen, and I decided to try something different by ordering the potesara and shoyu ramen. The shoyu ramen had a strong fish flavor that I really enjoyed. The noodles were cooked perfectly. It seems like the chef has a natural talent for getting the broth just right. Macaroni ordered the tsukemen with rice set, which seemed like a lot of food. We had a great time eating and drinking. Next time, we plan to go to Temma. Thank you for the delicious meal at Fukushima Stairway Sake!

Lunch in Fukushima. I had passed by the restaurant many times, but had never visited Tsukemen Misawa before. Strictly speaking, I think I may have come here once after drinking in Fukushima, but I don't remember it well, so I'll consider this my first visit. I ordered the simmered bonito tsukemen. The noodles are medium-thick curly noodles with a high water content. They have a chewy texture, and are topped with shiso leaves and ginger. The dipping sauce has a bonito flavor, but is more of a classic fish and pork bone broth with a slightly sweet taste. I finished it while changing the flavor with the separately served onions and black shichimi pepper on the table. It was delicious, but in Fukushima, a ramen battleground with many unique popular shops, the competition is strong, so I'm not sure if I would revisit. However, its strength lies in its proximity to Fukushima Station. Thank you for the meal.

Overall rating on Tabelog: 3.64 Date of visit: May 21, 2023, Sunday, 18:05 Ordered items: - Ajitama Tsukemen (990 yen) + Extra noodles (300g) for 110 yen - Niboshi Tsukemen (980 yen) + Extra noodles (300g) for 110 yen Upon arrival, there were only a few groups of customers, so we were able to enter immediately. The interior of the restaurant is divided equally between counter seats and table seats. Although there were soup noodles on the menu, we decided to go with the Tsukemen since it's the specialty of the place. The noodles were medium thick and straight. They looked shiny and had a good texture, quite springy and delicious. The dipping sauce was different from the usual fish and pork bone or soy sauce-based ones, with various condiments (raw onions, ginger, shiso leaves) giving it a refreshing taste. It wasn't a flavor that I would get addicted to, but it was reasonably tasty. Another unique feature of this place is the "hot stone" that you can put in the pot of soup base after mixing it in the dipping sauce, creating a piping hot soup that tasted much better than other places I've been to. The noodles were really delicious! Also, the fact that they are open until late at night makes this restaurant very convenient.

I usually prefer ramen, but sometimes I feel like trying ramen at a tsukemen shop. The rich fish and pork bone broth is so flavorful that I can't help but want to drink it all up. I end up slightly regretting not ordering rice to go with it.

Tsukemen Misawa Main Store [Fukushima, Osaka City, Fukushima 5-chome] A well-located tsukemen specialty shop near JR Fukushima Station with long operating hours, making it easy to visit. Their signature dish is the Special Niboshi Tsukemen for 1,220 yen, which includes chashu, thick menma, seasoned egg, onions, green onions, and ginger. The noodles are firm and the dipping soup is provided right in front of you. They have black shichimi pepper and hot stones to add to the soup, but you need to ask for them. The restaurant operates on a pre-payment system using a ticket machine (accepts 10,000 yen bills). They have counter seats and table seats available, and are open continuously until midnight, making it easy for solo diners to visit. [Operating Hours] 11:30-23:45 (Last Order) [Closed] No regular holidays

I visited Tsukemen Misawa because it was past 3 pm and there were few open restaurants in Fukushima. I ordered the dried sardine tsukemen this time. The dried sardines in the tsukemen were not overwhelming, and the dipping sauce here was balanced with ingredients like ginger, shiso leaves, and onions. I was able to enjoy it until the end without getting tired of the taste, and it was a place I would like to visit again.

On May 24th, I took the afternoon off and went to the Osaka Marathon EXPO to pick up my athlete bib. Afterwards, I headed back to Fukushima Station near the Osaka Loop Line for a workplace gathering at a yakiniku restaurant. Since I was in a ramen battleground, I decided to have some ramen before the gathering. However, it was difficult to find an open restaurant before 6:00 PM. "Moe Men Suke" and "Ramen Jinsei Jet" seemed to open at 6:00 PM. Since "Tsukemen Misawa Main Store" was open, I ordered the regular tsukemen. The dipping sauce seemed to be a blend of pork bone and seafood broth, with a slightly sweet taste and a hint of bonito flakes. The straight thick noodles were topped with a slice of tender chashu. I tried three different flavorings: first, I added Awaji Island onions to the soup, which cooled it down. It might be better to have them added to the soup from the beginning to keep it warm. Next, I added ginger, which gave a refreshing taste. Lastly, I added black pepper. I enjoyed the remaining soup with a hot stone added for a delicious soup split. Since the dipping sauce for tsukemen cools down quickly, it's better to have hot noodles. Maybe regular ramen would have been a better choice.

The inside of the restaurant was bright and clean, with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff efficiently cleared empty tables, which was reassuring to see. This time, I had the boiled sardine tsukemen (920 yen). It was delicious and I finished it quickly. I would have been even more satisfied if they increased the noodles for an extra 30 yen. The ginger and black seven spice for flavor enhancement were also very tasty.

Head to Misawa Honten in Fukushima Ward, Osaka City. It's located about 100 meters south of Fukushima Station on the JR Osaka Loop Line. The interior has 10 L-shaped counter seats and 3 tables for 4 people. Upon visiting on a Wednesday before 9 pm, there were 3 other customers. The two staff members seemed a bit lackluster, giving off a gloomy vibe as if the place only gets a few customers a day. I ordered the "Niboshi Tsukemen" for 920 yen and added extra noodles for 110 yen using the ticket machine. The appearance of the tsukemen was somewhat different from the picture displayed outside (laughs). The noodles, boiled for 6 minutes, were smooth and chewy with a high water content. The broth had a strong sweetness and a dried fish flavor, with a thick collagen-like viscosity that coated the noodles well. Toppings included naruto, menma, fish powder, and seaweed on the broth side, with grated ginger and chopped onions on top of the noodles. The thick menma had a satisfying crunch, but having only one slice of chewy, fibrous pork char siu felt a bit lacking. Considering the "small amount" of broth that cools quickly, it doesn't seem worth the 920 yen price tag. I tried to add some black shichimi for flavor, but it barely came out. When I opened the cork, I found the shichimi packed tightly inside. It's a waste to use high-quality ingredients like this. After finishing the noodles, I asked for "yakimeshi" and enjoyed the soup that was poured over the rice. Thank you for the meal! (^^)

【Points】① At first glance, there is no immediate impact, but the noodles resembling hiyashi chuka, along with the sweet and thick soup, are exquisite. ② There are thoughtful touches throughout that keep you from getting bored, allowing you to enjoy the flavor changes three or four times. ③ I wasn't expecting much, but I was extremely satisfied. It was a ramen experience with no complaints, just pure satisfaction. 【Trigger/Purpose】I had some business near Fukushima Station in Osaka, so I decided to have dinner there that night. I searched for restaurants near Fukushima Station based on the number of reviews, and chose this place because it was open late at night. 【Location】About a 1-minute walk from Fukushima Station. Right in front of the station. 【Atmosphere/Seating/Customer Demographics/Wifi/Toilet/Smoking/Baby Strollers, etc.】The atmosphere is like a regular ramen shop. The whole place has a chic feel with black decor. There are both table and counter seats, with solo diners typically seated at the counter. The customers at the time were all men, dining alone or in small groups. 【Food】(Order Reason/Taste/Portion/Wait Time/Other People's Orders, etc.) ● Shio Ramen (¥920) I ordered the classic tsukemen at this restaurant. I wasn't expecting much, but it turned out to be really delicious! Both the soup and the noodles were very satisfying. The noodles were clear like hiyashi chuka, thin and easy to eat, with a nice firmness. The ingredients in the soup were delicious, and the sweet and thick soup had just the right amount of umami from the dried fish. A common issue with tsukemen is that you can get tired of the flavor due to the large portion, but with this tsukemen, you can enjoy flavor changes about three times. You can add chopped onions, sudachi, ginger, shichimi, and even warm up the cooled soup by adding a heated stone at the end, similar to "tsukemen philosophy." These thoughtful touches are uniquely Japanese. It was delicious, enjoyable, and a highly satisfying tsukemen experience. While tsukemen portions are usually large and challenging, this tsukemen had a modest portion size, filling you up just right at about 90% full. 【Rating at the Time of Posting】★: 3.64 Number of Reviews: 560

This restaurant completely changed my image of tsukemen. The way the flavors evolve as you eat is perfect for the noodles and soup, and it's delicious. I always finish by enjoying the soup with the remaining noodles. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal! \(^o^)/

On the way north towards Fukushima, there was a faint sound of cheap watering. I wonder what they are trying to achieve by floating such things in the river. It's been 7 and a half years. The special seasoned dried fish flakes by Gen Ryoukaku add a delicious twist to the dish. Delicious smile~ Special simmered dried fish flake dipping noodles with chashu rice. Made with new crop Koshihikari rice from Toyama prefecture.
