The restaurant seems to be quite popular even in Fukushima. The Tabelog score was also high. The dish that was ordered was the "Ajitoku House Spring Special Course". It seems to have a lot of dishes, making one wonder if they can finish it all. And on top of that, it comes with all-you-can-drink (lol). Even though my companion drinks alcohol, I don't, but it still seems like a great deal (lol). I started to worry if the restaurant can make a profit with all the heavy drinkers in the Fukushima area at this price. Anyway, the food was excellent: - Today's appetizer: Fresh scallop meat that you can tell is of high quality. It is seared and served with a strawberry sauce, along with high-sugar tomatoes from a melon farm. A surprisingly stylish dish that doesn't match the atmosphere of the restaurant. - The perfectly cooked Atlantic salmon is fatty and tender. It is seasoned with salt, karasumi, and Pecorino Romano cheese. - The sashimi includes amberjack, yellowtail, sea bream, bluefin tuna toro, and flounder. You can taste the freshness. - The grilled throat blackthroat seaperch is just right with its high fat content. - The Miyazaki beef is marinated in kombu, and the thick meat is perfectly cooked with a pink color. Black pepper goes well with it. - The abalone butter soy sauce grilled dish features abalone that has been steamed and simmered for 3 hours, providing a fantastic texture. - The combination of duck roast and charcoal-grilled eel with eggplant in Dutch sauce has a gentle and delicious flavor. The duck was particularly moist and had a great texture. - The Toyama firefly squid with miso vinegar and dashi jelly was delicious. The firm firefly squid was a delight. - The Hokkaido asparagus pork roll tempura is a voluminous fried dish that older men would appreciate. - The dish of raw yuba, Chiba clams, and raw sea urchin with clam broth sauce featured sea urchin without alum, which was sweet and flavorful. - The homemade tsukune hot pot was surprisingly easy to eat, with fluffy tsukune and a gentle broth. It warms you up, and even comes with udon noodles for a satisfying meal. All of this for 9900 yen is incredible.

My friend wanted to eat delicious conger eel, so I thought of my favorite restaurant, Ajitoku-ya. It is located very close to JR Tozai Line Shin-Fukushima Station and Hanshin Fukushima Station, and is also within walking distance from Fukushima Station on the Loop Line. The owner's sincere attitude towards cooking and overflowing hospitality make it a wonderful place. The entrance requires you to take off your shoes, and the first floor has counter seats, tables, and private rooms with digging kotatsu. The second floor has tatami seating. Today, I enjoyed the conger eel course with all-you-can-drink option for 9,900 yen. The variety of drinks included in the all-you-can-drink option such as sake, shochu, beer, and fruit liquor was delightful. The meal started with a cheese simmered in kelp, which is a staple of the restaurant and I love its chewy texture. The thick and bouncy Awaji Island conger eel in vinegar sauce was delicious. The conger eel tempura was light and fluffy, and I personally preferred it with salt. The conger eel and Awaji Island onion hotpot for shabu-shabu was beautifully presented and the broth was incredibly tasty. The broth made from conger eel bones was so delicious that I couldn't stop drinking it. The meal ended with udon noodles in the flavorful broth. Finally, I had caramel ice cream for dessert. The conger eel was surprisingly delicious during this season, and the meal at Ajitoku-ya was outstanding. The food is consistently good and the staff, including the owner, are attentive and create a comfortable atmosphere. My companion also enjoyed the meal, and I would definitely want to visit this restaurant again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Visited for a business dinner with a client. The course included all-you-can-drink with dishes like sashimi, salad, kelp-marinated beef, abalone, Hokkaido asparagus tempura, and more. Finished with chicken meatball and napa cabbage hot pot. The drink selection included Japanese sake and shochu. The staff strictly enforced the rule of glass replacement, which was a bit off-putting. The food and drinks were above average.

Today, I visited the popular small restaurant Shikisai Teuchi Ryori Ajitokuya in Fukushima, where reservations are required. I made a reservation in advance for a full course meal. Each dish, from seasonal fish to meat dishes, is carefully prepared and delicious. The presentation of the dishes is also enjoyable. The dishes are perfect for pairing with drinks. I was very satisfied. This is a restaurant that I would definitely recommend for special occasions like anniversaries!

The dishes are carefully crafted and you can enjoy both fish and meat. There are many courses, but each dish is small, allowing you to fully savor each one. The food is delicious. However, since everything is served on large plates, it was difficult to share. For the price range of this course, it would have been better if each dish was served individually rather than in large portions.

After the exhibition at the Osaka Hankyu Umeda Main Store, we had a social gathering with the popular ceramic artist Kazuki Nakamura. The organizer reserved this restaurant for us. I almost forgot to take pictures of the food, so please just enjoy the lively atmosphere. Recommended for those who enjoy drinking from unique cups.

I visited on a regular evening and reserved the 7900 yen tax-included course with all-you-can-drink. The meal started with today's appetizer, assorted sashimi, grilled Tajima chicken with black pepper, marinated brand beef with kelp, buttered abalone steamed for 3 hours and then grilled with liver soy sauce, roasted duck loin and eggplant in Dutch stew with mustard and egoma, Hokkaido asparagus wrapped in pork, homemade meatball hot pot, and finished with udon noodles. Each dish was delicious, especially the abalone which was incredibly tender and flavorful. The all-you-can-drink sake was of good quality and reasonably priced. This is a great place for entertaining clients.

You can eat to your heart's content at this restaurant. The dishes leading up to the yellowtail shabu-shabu are delicious, but you need to pace yourself to finish everything. The yellowtail shabu-shabu comes in a generous portion that can be thoroughly enjoyed by one person. The broth is also said to be carefully prepared, and it is indeed delicious. The staff can quickly tell you the origin of the ingredients, and despite being a hot pot dish, you can truly savor the food at this restaurant.

I made a reservation for the 8000 yen course. It was a luxurious course with lots of meat after the sashimi. The amberjack shabu-shabu was amazing for amberjack lovers. I really liked the tempura stuffed with shiitake mushrooms. It was a Tuesday so there were only two groups in the restaurant. The staff had a great atmosphere.

During the pandemic, I had a rare gourmet dinner with a distinguished person. They requested seafood, which is not my usual choice, so I struggled to decide on a restaurant. I chose a place I wanted to visit, and despite the availability shown on Tabelog, I had to make a phone reservation because they only offered set courses. The service was very polite, and I had high expectations. However, the reason for switching to a la carte was that the hot pot course was quite expensive at 8,800 yen per person, and it would easily exceed 20,000 yen with drinks for two people. We were the first customers when we arrived, and we were seated at a table with a sunken kotatsu, which was a pleasant surprise. We ordered various dishes, and my companion was interested in the specialty buri shabu-shabu, which was priced by weight but we decided to try it. The dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. When the buri shabu-shabu arrived, it was incredibly thick and flavorful. It was so delicious that we couldn't stop praising it. The balance of fat and umami in the buri was outstanding. We were also told that we could eat it raw, which was a unique experience. The restaurant was full by the time we left, but the owner still took the time to ask if we had enough buri. The service, including the staff, was very attentive. It was truly a great dining experience at a restaurant with many positive reviews.

On December 20th, 4th year of Reiwa era (Tuesday), my son had made a reservation for a year-end party for the fiscal year 2022. We arrived at the restaurant entrance at 6:35 pm, waited for 5 minutes at the entrance, peeked inside the restaurant at 6:40 pm, and got the approval to enter. I have never used a popular restaurant before, so I don't really understand, but I guess there are certain rules in such places, right? The entrance was like a dressing room, with a sign saying "full for today" already displayed! We had arrived at Fukushima Station an hour earlier, so I had searched for the restaurant in advance from the name I was told, but I guess not knowing was the correct answer. The dinner started right at 6:45 pm. At first, we were served what seemed like appetizers, with a strawberry-flavored and seafood (?) aperitif! Since I don't like meat, the course was changed to mainly seafood dishes for me. As a result, most of the approximately 9 dishes were seafood! I had heard that it was a famous restaurant, but it wasn't that formal, and I enjoyed the dishes that kept coming one after another! Good food makes the alcohol go down smoothly! I had two glasses of white wine and three types of sweet potato shochu with hot water. I thought that Japanese sake would have been more suitable for this meal, considering the high sugar content in Japanese cuisine. Delicious food with delicious shochu, today I was treated to a meal by the company (my eldest son?) again! Thank you for the feast!

Fukushima Station near *Shikisai Teppan Cooking Taste Tokuya* is a restaurant recommended by my son, who has visited a few times. It seems to be a popular restaurant and I heard that it is difficult to make a reservation, but luckily we were able to make a reservation and were eagerly looking forward to it. When we arrived at 6:30 pm, the restaurant was already full. We ordered the course meal. Each time the dish was served, the ingredients and dish names were explained to us, but I was so captivated by the beautiful dishes placed in front of me that I couldn't remember anything. The order was appetizer, grilled fish (sea bream?), sashimi, beef and kelp simmered dish, abalone butter grilled duck, tempura, tofu skin with sauce, and ice cream. I was in awe of the beauty of the colors as I enjoyed each dish. Appreciating the dishes is truly profound. We enjoyed white wine, shochu, and other drinks. If there is a chance, I would definitely like to visit again, but it seems unlikely (laughs). Thank you for the wonderful meal.

About a month ago, I made a reservation through the Tabelog app for a winter yellowtail hot pot course! With 4 people, we were led to the back half-private room. The restaurant didn't have a fancy atmosphere, but they were unsure if they could procure the fish due to rough seas in the Japan Sea. They contacted me beforehand and even offered alternative options if they couldn't get it. Luckily, they were able to get the fish, and we enjoyed a variety of dishes like sashimi, duck, chicken, tempura, and more. The mineral water here had a thick, slightly salty taste like hot spring water, and it was delicious! Each glass cost 200 yen. The large slices of yellowtail were fatty and delicious. The portion was so generous that we couldn't even finish the vegetables or the porridge that came at the end. We also ordered some fresh oysters and tempura separately. It was a great meal with lots of drinks, costing about 12,000 yen per person. Definitely coming back!

[Facility] Parking: Available at Raguza Osaka Exterior: Atmosphere resembling a mix of an old folk house and izakaya Interior: Two-story old folk house, steep stairs, no sunken kotatsu Toilet: Standard Amenity: Standard [Taste] Total cost: 49,000 yen (for 5 people) Course: 8,800 yen Drink: 5,000 yen [Service] Payment: Credit card accepted Customer service: Standard, with part-time staff from izakaya [Overall review] The focus is on the blowfish shabu-shabu, so the full potential of small dishes may not be fully explored. The izakaya-like atmosphere, service (with part-time staff), and lack of sunken kotatsu may be concerning. However, the food is delicious, so it may be a match for those looking for a combination of izakaya and seafood small dishes concept.

I had a course meal of red snapper! Everything was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed the udon noodles at the end. The sake went down smoothly ♫ Sandfish was large and tough, so I recommend having it cut for those with weak teeth or women! There are many courses tailored to the season, so I would love to visit again.

We made a reservation for 3 people in the evening of the same day! The table and private rooms were fully booked, so we sat at the counter! The appetizer was cream cheese tofu (?!)... The dishes we had were: assorted sashimi (bluefin tuna, scallops, amberjack, horse mackerel, sea bream), sand liver peppercino, duck and eggplant stew, cream cheese sake lees pickles, oyster tempura. Everything was delicious! Especially, the cream cheese sake lees pickles paired amazingly well with red wine! We had a wonderful night!

The Osaka Fukushima area is an exciting place with a mix of a big city feel and a traditional downtown atmosphere with many cool shops in narrow alleyways. This popular restaurant is located in that area. When I visited, it was fully booked with reservations. Even though it was the end of summer, they still had an eel course available. We started with sashimi, including tuna, sea bream, yellowtail, and eel. Then we had delicious tempura before the main dish of eel hot pot. The amount of eel was generous. The udon noodles served at the end of the meal were amazing, especially when combined with the eel broth. Eel is not something I eat often, so it was a great opportunity. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. I would love to visit again and try a different course.

Visited for the first time with friends. We had a private room with a sunken table. The restaurant was about 70% full. Tried chicken suki for the first time and it was delicious. We also ordered a sashimi platter, uni tofu, tsukune stuffed lotus root, and they were all tasty. Overall, it's a casual and good restaurant to visit.
