We decided to have breakfast here on the last day of our trip due to its reputation for delicious breakfast.【Crowded】We entered at 6:30 and it was the busiest time. As is common in tourist hotels, there was a long line at the buffet right after opening. It's better to go a bit later, as it starts to clear out after 7 o'clock.◾️Morning Buffet @ 3000 yen (tax included)*Used a 1000 yen discount with the app pointsSince I have a small appetite, I focused on a select few items. I enjoyed a delicious seafood bowl with toppings like salmon, sweet shrimp, scallops, and salmon roe on rice. Having a tasty seafood bowl for breakfast is one of the highlights of buffets in Hokkaido. The potato salad made with Hokkaido potatoes and the asparagus in the salad corner were delicious and recommended. The grilled salmon in the Japanese section was also very good. At the live kitchen, I had the famous "White French Toast" prepared. I'm not a fan of French toast because I don't like the raw egg and milk smell, but I tried the famous one here and found it a bit too powdery and not very tasty. In the dessert section, the "Fromage Blanc" was delicious, and the seasonal fruits like melon were fresh. They also had Hokkaido specialties like Zangi and Soup Curry on the menu. In terms of service, it was average. They didn't clear plates unless prompted. In terms of value for money, it was decent.

Reservation is required. It seemed to be fully booked, but by adjusting the entry time and making a reservation, there was no need to wait in line or feel crowded, making the experience very smooth. The restaurant has a great location with large windows overlooking the trees of the Prefectural Office Square, and the seating is spacious and calm, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were all friendly, always coming to clear plates with a smile. They were also very attentive in explaining about allergens, even going around the buffet table with us. The service was friendly and not pretentious, which was wonderful. The food consisted of choosing from around 4 main dishes such as pasta (buffet included, starting from 2800 yen), with side dishes, soup, curry, salad, bread, desserts, and drinks available at the buffet. For those who can't eat much, there was also an option for just the buffet (2600 yen), but for an additional 200 yen, you could have a main dish, so we chose the pasta. The crab tomato cream pasta had plenty of crab on top. They used ingredients like mozzarella cheese and venison in the soup, which are not commonly seen in buffets, giving a very good value impression overall. The dishes were elaborate and all delicious. The desserts were of high quality, such as a fluffy banana chiffon cake and matcha tiramisu with sweet bean paste. The drinks included jasmine tea, peach tea, orange juice, coffee, and cafe latte, nothing unusual but all good. The buffet table was always replenished and kept clean by the staff, making it a pleasant experience to get food. There was no time limit, and we were able to leisurely spend time until close to closing (2:30 pm). I would like to visit again.

I stayed here last year and was so impressed that I decided to stay again. The breakfast is amazing, especially the all-you-can-eat ikura. Aside from seafood, the zangi was delicious - crispy and juicy. I also enjoyed a dish of steamed pork with yuzu pepper ponzu sauce. I tried a local probiotic drink called Katsugen, which had a taste similar to an energy drink, but I didn't like it.

You can use a coupon for online reservations from Tabelog. There are many creative dishes that taste delicious. There is no time limit, so I was able to stay for 2 hours. I liked it so much that I visited in September and October without much time in between. Is it difficult to make reservations on weekends? I was able to make a same-day phone reservation for a weekday in September. They also have solid measures in place for COVID-19, with wide spacing between seats.

When the restaurant first opened, it was always crowded, but it seems to have calmed down now. I went for lunch and chose a main dish, with side dishes served buffet style. I had a hard time deciding on the main dish, but after a frustrating incident, I ended up choosing the most expensive Hokkaido beef fillet with Béarnaise sauce. I asked for it rare and it was delicious - tender and perfectly paired with the sauce. The popular chicken Kiev was also beautifully presented. The cold corn soup served at the table was sweet and delicious, I even had seconds. The buffet had a wide variety of side dishes, including raw and roasted vegetables, salads, cocktail foods, soup curry, and many dessert options. I was pleasantly surprised to find bread later on. The coffee was also good. The staff's customer service was excellent, and the hotel's luxury and convenience make it a favorite of mine. I have visited their locations in Seoul, Busan, and Bangkok, and I am looking forward to their opening in Taipei. The hotel in Sapporo also has a large bath and fitness gym, making for a more fulfilling hotel experience. I can't wait for the bar to reopen. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Hello everyone! The start of the Obon holiday is a visit to the beauty salon. After getting refreshed, let's have a solo lunch at "SOLVERT" on the second floor of the Soraia Nishitetsu Hotel, which has landed in Hokkaido for the first time. Arrived at the hotel 10 minutes earlier than the reservation, and there were black-suited staff waiting beyond the automatic door. They confirmed my name and asked me to relax in the lobby on the first floor until the table was ready. After a short wait, I was escorted to the elevator. It may be a bit extravagant for a lunch buffet, but I was happy to have a table by the window. I was intrigued by the scallop mousse, but I decided to go for the classic chicken Kiev instead. The price varies depending on the dish, and if you reserve through Tabelog, the Kiev dish is discounted from 2200 yen to 1980 yen. Before the main dish, let's start with the appetizers! Enjoy! Carrot mousse, prosciutto melon with red wine jelly, asparagus bacon dressing, roast beef with wasabi greens salad, pate can, cold onion soup, potato gratin, rice cheese croquette, and a bite-sized hot sandwich. There were other options, but these suited my taste. The carrot mousse and cold onion soup were delicious with their natural sweetness. The roast beef was tender and flavorful, and the gratin had just the right amount of creaminess. The corn soup served today was rich and flavorful with only salt and ingredients. Now, the main dish is here. It's essentially chicken breast katsu, but it looks so presentable when served. When you cut it open, parsley butter oozes out, complementing the hollandaise sauce, tomato sauce, and a sauce with a hint of roasted bitterness. I went for seconds of the appetizers and now it's time for some carbs. I lightly toasted a baguette, spread seaweed butter and honey, and enjoyed it. I had the duck soup curry with roast vegetables while watching the ducks swimming in the pond at the Hokkaido Government Office. The spice was there, but the sweetness and richness made the rice go down smoothly. I wish they had a separate spicy sauce though. For dessert, there were options like roll cake, gateau chocolate, and choux cream with hazelnuts. The choux cream had banana inside, and the cream was just the right amount of sweetness, my favorite. The menu is not heavy, so it may not be suitable for families with children or young men. However, the professional flavors created through sauces and techniques make up for the lack of luxury ingredients. Pairing with champagne or white wine would surely elevate the experience. The staff, who were initially very courteous, only said "Thank you!" when I left, they didn't even open the door. Oh well, thank you for the meal!

The new hotel is beautiful and pleasant. The lunch buffet at the restaurant on the second floor is great. You can choose from five main dishes, and the round dish caught my eye - Chicken Kiev style? I understand the chicken part, but what is Kiev style? I really wanted to try this round dish. It was not too crowded on a Saturday, so getting food was stress-free. The variety of dishes is not that wide, but everything I tried was good. The eggs caught my attention, with sauce drizzled on top. The dishes are well-balanced. The Chicken Kiev style dish was exciting to see - it's really round. It looked like a piece of art that I wanted to keep on display. When you cut into it, there is a green pea sauce inside, making it even more appetizing. If you're going there for the first time, I recommend choosing this dish. It tastes great. I think you will also be satisfied with the desserts. I felt a sense of satisfaction compared to the price. The staff were efficient in clearing plates and made the experience enjoyable and relaxing. I will definitely want to go back to this restaurant.

I visited SOLVERT, a bar restaurant lounge located inside the Salaria Seifuku Hotel. A friend who used to be the head bartender at the main bar of Keio Plaza Hotel now works at this place, so I decided to drop by. Upon entering the establishment, I could feel the elegance typical of a hotel bar, but it was still welcoming and easy to enter. Today, I opted for a course that included an appetizer (assorted sausages, half Margherita pizza, pasta of the day) and three drinks of your choice for 3000 yen. The chef, I heard, trained at Mikuni Sapporo. The appetizer was fantastic, especially the octopus carpaccio with a hint of lemongrass that added a rich and elegant flavor. I honestly wanted to have a whole plate of it. The assorted sausages for the main course included four different types, and the Margherita pizza had juicy and delicious tomatoes. I ordered beer, a gin and tonic, and a dry martini. This course for 3000 yen was unbelievable! I honestly thought the appetizer would just be nuts and cheese, and that the main course would be very small, but the volume and quality were top-notch. The place opened during the pandemic, so it seems not many people know about it yet, but it's a wonderful restaurant. Their lunch buffet, where you can choose your main dish, seems to have a great reputation. I definitely want to visit for lunch as well. Thank you for the meal.

A new bar opened on the second floor of the recently opened Nishitetsu Solaria Sapporo on February 1st. The view of the Hokkaido Government Building from the large picture window is amazing. It's no wonder that it's packed during lunchtime. The interior, with plenty of natural wood, creates a great atmosphere even at night. It's a new night spot where you can enjoy a proper meal. This time, we had a bit of beer and whiskey.

I made a reservation for 11:30 and arrived 15 minutes early. A staff member in the hallway provided a chair for me to sit and wait until the opening time. They also took my coat before entering the restaurant. The staff's service was polite and impeccable. The tables inside were spaced out, and even though I was seated at a 6-person table with only 3 people, it felt spacious and safe. The COVID-19 prevention measures were thorough. The food was delicious, with a variety of dishes like appetizers, salads, pot-au-feu, soup curry, and gratin. The dessert selection was satisfying as well. Booking through Tabelog gave me a 20% discount, making it a great value for the price. I ordered the Chicken Kiev as my main, but next time I'll try the duck as I prefer richer, meatier dishes. My companion had the deer meat ragu pasta, which was full of meat and tasty. I particularly enjoyed the octopus carpaccio and the onion blancmange. The bacon dressing on the salad was also delicious. The complimentary lotus root soup served at the table was a nice touch. The service and cost performance were both excellent. I left feeling full and satisfied.

Thank you for your continued support. [February 2021] This is my second review, so I'll keep it light. "Solveil" is a restaurant at "Soraria Nishitetsu Hotel". It opened on February 1, 2021. When I made a reservation for lunch on my first visit, the earliest available seat was on February 5. Currently, reservations are required on weekends, but there are some available seats on weekdays. I visited at 11:30 am on a weekday. From the restaurant, you have a nice view of the former Hokkaido Government Office garden. Lunch is buffet style where you choose a main dish. On the day of my visit, there was a limited edition dish not listed on the regular menu, "Pan-fried cod with monkfish and capers and tomato meunière sauce, served with buffet for 2530 yen". It was limited to 10 servings. I have a bad habit of being weak to the word "limited" (laughs). Naturally, both of us ordered "Pan-fried cod with monkfish and capers and tomato meunière sauce, served with buffet". We were advised to go get the buffet dishes first as the main dish would take some time. I went to the buffet with my usual companion. After waiting for about 30 minutes, the main dish arrived. Lunch: Pan-fried cod with monkfish and capers and tomato meunière sauce The rich Japanese-style sauce and the rich flavor of the monkfish complement each other. The refreshing taste of the cod enhances the rich flavor of the monkfish even more. It's a clever use of monkfish. Buffet all-you-can-eat dishes include about 10 types: prosciutto and pickles, Hokkaido chicken pot-au-feu, octopus carpaccio, chicken breast and purple cabbage salad, shrimp soup curry, seafood doria, roasted vegetables, breads, salads, croutons, olives, dressings, desserts, and drinks. The limited edition main dish "Pan-fried cod with monkfish and capers and tomato meunière sauce" for 2530 yen was well worth the price. The staff said that they happened to receive high-quality monkfish, so they offered it as a "limited edition of 10 servings". Lucky me! It's quite a luxurious lunch buffet. There are some menu items that seem like they were added as extras, but they are all proper dishes. Proper dishes are served promptly. Hotel cuisine does give a sense of security. And you can feel the effort put into it. I wonder which main dish I'll choose for my next lunch. I'll be very happy if there's a limited edition item available on the day again. I went there for the first time! They took our coats and we waited a bit before being seated. We were called in quickly and sat down - right in front of the buffet table - how wonderful! A friend made a reservation for us, and the three of us went with my child. There was a 20% discount for the grand opening, which was great! My child's meal didn't come with a main dish, but it was enough. The seafood gratin was delicious, with a creamy and flavorful taste. The squid was so tasty! The soup curry was surprisingly strong in flavor, but when I added the chicken from the neighboring pot-au-feu, it balanced out perfectly. The spices were quite strong, and I could taste hints of apple. The chicken was tender and delicious. The egg mayo was my first time trying it - it was like a curry-flavored boiled egg, interesting. The cheese fondue with strawberry sauce was my favorite - it had chunks of fruit and was so tasty. My friend had the chicken Kiev with green peas, which they enjoyed. I had the mussel pasta, but my child ended up eating most of it. It was rich and delicious. The bread with seaweed butter, strawberry, and apple jam was also tasty. There were croissants, bread, and Danish pastries, each with their own dedicated oven, which was nice. They also had olive oil and honey. The seasonal soup was served after the main course - it was made of lily bulbs, but the seasoning wasn't to my liking as it was too light. I made a lunch reservation over the phone, and the earliest available seat was on February 5th. Currently, lunch buffet reservations have a two-week waiting period. I visited on the designated day and time. When I made the phone reservation, I was informed of a 20% discount for mentioning Tabelog. I visited for lunch with my usual companion directly from the hospital. This restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of the Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel near JR Sapporo Station in the JR Sapporo Station area of Chuo-ku, Sapporo. Please check the exact location of the restaurant on Tabelog. I visited at 12:30 on a weekday. From the restaurant, you have a good view of the former Hokkaido Government Office garden. Lunch is buffet style, where you choose your main dish. I ordered the "Chicken Kiev-style with Lightly Stewed Green Peas Buffet for 2200 yen" from the opening campaign. I was advised to go get the buffet dishes first as it would take some time. I went to get the buffet dishes with my usual companion. After waiting for about 30 minutes, the main dish was served. The "Chicken Kiev-style with Lightly Stewed Green Peas" dish looked colorful and beautiful, and the advice was given that sometimes the juice clears when cutting into it. It had a visually appealing look and the taste was quite good. The buffet all-you-can-eat menu included about 8 types of dishes such as prosciutto and pickles, Hokkaido chicken pot-au-feu, octopus carpaccio, seafood doria, and roasted vegetables like carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, and pumpkins. It also included 3 types of bread, 7 types of salads, 8 types of side ingredients, and 8 types of dressings. For dessert, there were apple tart, roll cake, chocolate cake, macarons, green tea pudding, Hokkaido Fromage Blanc mousse, lemon jelly with mint flavor, and various drinks like coffee, tea, juices, and iced tea. The price for the opening campaign lunch was 2200 yen, but with the Tabelog discount, it was 1760 yen (tax included). The "Opening Campaign Lunch" was quite a luxurious lunch buffet. Although there were some menu items that seemed repetitive in the buffet, overall, the dishes were well-prepared. They continued serving dishes until the end. The main dish "Chicken Kiev-style with Lightly Stewed Green Peas" had a quality that exceeded its price. Hotel cuisine indeed provides a sense of security. The two-week wait was justified by the quality of the buffet.
