Jin Din Rou, located in Zhongshan District, Taipei City, Taiwan, is a Taiwanese restaurant famous for its xiaolongbao (soup dumplings). Near Yokohama Station, which is served by multiple train lines including the JR Tokaido Line, Keihin-Tohoku Line, Yokosuka Line, Shonan-Shinjuku Line, Tokyu Toyoko Line, Minatomirai Line, Keikyu Line, and Sotetsu Line, a new branch called "Jin Din Rou HANARE" has opened. This branch, "Jin Din Rou HANARE Yokohama Front Tsuruyamachi," is located inside "Yokohama Front," a complex building that stands 43 stories high and houses various shops, hotels, and luxury residences. Hearing about this high-end Chinese restaurant in a skyscraper piqued my interest, so I decided to visit. Upon arrival, I found the place to be quite popular and nearly full. During lunch hours, there are several menu options available: - Casual Lunch A: 2,178 yen - Casual Lunch B: 2,288 yen - Noodles Lunch: 2,750 yen - Water Lily Course: 3,003 yen - Sakura Course: 4,213 yen Each menu item was relatively expensive, so I opted for the simplest option. I ordered "Casual Lunch A" for 2,178 yen. At first glance, the name might suggest something affordable, but for a lunch, it's quite pricey, yet the content was outstanding. The set included a cold dish, xiaolongbao, crab fried rice, and almond tofu. To my surprise, each item—cold dish, xiaolongbao, crab fried rice, and almond tofu—tasted even better than what I had experienced in Yokohama's China Town. The incredible flavor was truly impressive.

I believe the main restaurant of the Xiao Long Bao (soup dumpling) chain is Jindinlou in Ebisu. I visited the newly opened location in Yokohama and was excited to be shown to a private room. If I'm not mistaken, I can't forget the taste of the Xiao Long Bao I had in Taipei, so I decided to visit a branch in Japan. Every dish at Jindinlou, which is known for its commitment to quality, was delicious, and I plan to go again for lunch next time. They also had an impressive selection of drinks available.

I had a shrimp wonton lunch set and a fried rice lunch set. The fried rice of the day was crab. First, we were served two adorable appetizers. I couldn’t help but exclaim how small and cute they were, almost like play food. They were delicious. Next, we had soup dumplings, which were fun to enjoy with black vinegar and soy vinegar for flavor variation. Then came the shrimp wonton noodles and the crab fried rice. The soup was incredibly delicious—truly a highlight. The fried rice was well-seasoned, perfectly fluffy yet moist, leaving me very satisfied. The restaurant has a beautiful interior and excellent service.

I visited because the restaurant is famous for its xiaolongbao (soup dumplings). The food was delicious, but I was truly impressed by the staff's hospitality. Because of that, I was able to enjoy a wonderful time. Thank you very much! As for the taste of the food, everything, including the signature xiaolongbao, shrimp chili, chicken with cashew nuts, stir-fried pea shoots, and fried rice, was delicious.

I visited the new complex "THE YOKOHAMA FRONT," which opened in late June near the north exit of Yokohama Station. Since I didn't have a reservation, I waited for about 20 minutes. I chose Casual Lunch A, which was dan dan noodles, and Casual Lunch B, which was fried rice. I was satisfied with the food in terms of taste, quantity, and everything else. I also ordered a beer. The total came to ¥5,266. Once seated, each person received two tickets worth ¥50 each. If you give them to the friendly staff, it becomes a tip that reflects in their salary; if not used, it provides a discount on the bill at the end. I gave one ticket each to the woman who showed me to my table and the gentleman in the hall. Maybe because of this system, everyone had a smart and pleasant manner of service.

I want to eat soup dumplings, but going to Chinatown feels like a hassle. So, I decided to come to this place near my hotel. I had been to this chain before, so I knew the food would be good, but the atmosphere and service were outstanding. They even helped us share the salads among our group and were very attentive to our needs. Thanks to them, I had a fun and delicious time.

I visited with my daughter to a Taiwanese restaurant in Yokohama that offers a relaxed atmosphere. Since we couldn't make a reservation at the Yokohama Takashimaya 8th floor location, we booked a table at the sister restaurant, HANARE. We ordered Lunch Course A, which included shrimp wonton noodles, two types of pork soup dumplings, two appetizers, almond jelly for dessert, and oolong tea served in a pot, allowing for refills. It's been a while since I had shrimp wonton noodles, and they were refreshing with a hint of yuzu—really delicious. The soup dumplings were served with recommended toppings of minced ginger and black vinegar, with soy sauce and white vinegar also available. I inquired about sesame balls, and was informed they had a variety set with black sesame, smooth red bean, and matcha fillings for 860 yen. It took about 8 minutes for this to be served. While the food was exquisite, what really stood out was the attentive service. From the reservation process and guidance to the explanation of dishes and general care throughout the meal, everything was meticulously handled, making for a pleasant dining experience. They have implemented a tipping system with 50 NTD tokens (complimentary) given to each guest, which can be given to staff members who provide excellent service. I quickly spotted some wonderful staff who were clearly well-trained and attentive. The restaurant attracts many adults but maintains a relaxed vibe, with a white-themed interior that welcomes children and those with strollers. The restroom is located outside, and while the view is obstructed by blinds due to the surrounding residential and corporate buildings, the large windows make for a spacious feel with high ceilings.

I had a jade-themed course for lunch on Sunday. The restaurant was quite new and very beautiful, with an interior design reminiscent of a Korean cafe, featuring a refreshing white color scheme. The highlight of my meal was the soup dumplings, which had a thin skin filled with plenty of meaty broth, capturing the essence of Taiwanese soup dumplings, and I was very satisfied! Especially the truffle soup dumplings and the oolong tea soup dumplings stood out with their distinct flavors, making them enjoyable to eat. However, since I'm not a huge fan of Chinese cuisine, I found that many of the other dishes weren't to my liking. The ham cutlet-like dish had an artificial taste, and the dessert, almond tofu, had an oddly sour flavor from the osmanthus sauce on top, which I didn't enjoy. If we're talking about a similar genre, I prefer Din Tai Fung in Takashimaya. Nonetheless, it was a fun experience having a Chinese course meal after a long time.

On Saturday, all the cafes were crowded, so I started looking for a place for dinner a bit early at 4 PM. I noticed that there was a lunch course available until 5 PM, and the cost-performance was great, so I decided to go in without hesitation! I enjoyed delicious xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) and shrimp wontons.

A Taiwanese restaurant has opened a few months ago almost directly connected to Yokohama Station, situated on the second floor of YOKOHAMA FRONT. This restaurant is part of a chain that primarily operates in Ebisu, Japan, and is often compared to the long-established Din Tai Fung. It is believed that the restaurant was started by someone who previously worked at Din Tai Fung. The restaurant seems to follow a more upscale direction compared to Din Tai Fung, and both places are commonly found in department stores. Although I am not sure about the management and operations in Japan, this restaurant exudes slightly more luxury and sophistication than its counterpart in Taiwan, both in terms of the ambiance and the cuisine. From the entrance, it looks as though there are few seats available, but there are tables and private rooms in the left rear area. The private rooms tend to be filled with groups, making it quite lively even on weekdays. Nevertheless, compared to other dining floors in nearby buildings like NEWoMan or Takashimaya, it feels somewhat more subdued. Interestingly, around 2 PM on weekdays, seats become available, making it possible to enter without a reservation. Unlike Din Tai Fung, they do not operate continuously throughout the day, but many guests are seen enjoying their meals at a relaxed pace. The lunch sets and courses are reasonably priced, but you can also enjoy high-quality xiao long bao (soup dumplings), appetizers, and noodles at a fair price. It seems that ordering a la carte is also an option. Due to the limited number of staff, there may be a bit of a wait for service, but the staff are well-trained and provide a pleasant experience typical of upscale restaurants. They have a system that resembles a tipping system using tickets, which seems to enhance staff motivation. There is also a box near the entrance for tipping kitchen staff, so if you enjoy the food, you can drop a tip in there. The dishes are presented more elegantly than those served at the Taiwanese-based Jing Ding Lou, and the flavors are delightful. The truffle-infused dumplings, which had previously been offered in only a few Din Tai Fung locations, were even more flavorful and enjoyable than those I had in Taiwan or Shanghai. I believe these pair excellently with wine; they offer several robust options by the glass, which may be a bit challenging to navigate, but they provide a wide selection and serve from large, high-quality Riedel glasses, making it a delightful experience. You don’t need to travel to specialized Taiwanese or Shanghai restaurants to enjoy quality food; this place offers a more casual yet high-quality dining experience, and I definitely want to return.

I visited for a birthday dinner! It's conveniently located in a new building in Yokohama. I had the dinner course, and personally, I felt the portions were a bit small, but it was delicious. I think it could be a bit more generous, especially for men, as it might feel quite limited. The xiaolongbao in the pictures offers three different flavors. The oolong tea and truffle were very fragrant and delicious. Finally, the almond tofu with a hint of osmanthus was also tasty, with a subtle fragrance of the flower.

I reserved a private room for a ladies' gathering. Since it was a holiday afternoon, the restaurant was already fully booked when we arrived. Although there is a fee for the private room, I really appreciated being able to reserve it in advance. Every dish we had was delicious, and the freshly steamed xiao long bao was especially exquisite. The staff were all very professional and provided excellent service, making for a pleasant time. I plan to use this place not only for private gatherings but also for business meetings.

Today, I went to lunch with four friends. We ordered a course meal, and we had various dishes like soup dumplings, stir-fried dishes, and my favorite, dan dan noodles. Everything was elegantly presented and delicious. However, the portions were a bit lacking… the appetizers were small, and the stir-fried dishes were also limited, plus the dan dan noodles and bok choy were overlapping in flavor, so I wish they had thought that through a bit more. The service from the staff was truly wonderful. I definitely want to go back!

This popular restaurant has multiple locations and is located in a newly built building with an elegant white-based interior. For lunch, I chose the shrimp wonton noodle course. As expected, the xiao long bao (soup dumplings) were delicious. They serve them slightly cooled to prevent burns, which was a nice touch. The shrimp wontons were also very tasty with a perfect texture. I tried a separate menu item, the dan dan noodles, which were incredibly spicy, but the sesame soup was outstanding. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful, making it a luxurious lunch experience. One surprising aspect was a unique initiative at this location regarding service improvement: they introduced a tipping system. Each customer receives two paper bills from the restaurant. You can give them to a staff member who provided excellent service or put them towards your meal. Alternatively, you can use them as discount vouchers without giving them to anyone. It was tough to decide because all the staff were wonderful. Throughout my meal, I found myself distracted by the decision. It seemed that a little mental preparation might be needed before visiting. At the end of my visit, I received a premium card that provides a 10% discount for dinner at any of their locations. I look forward to using it next time. Thank you very much!

I had dinner with my mentor in Yokohama, and it was my first visit to 京鼎樓, including its other locations. We ordered the course with unlimited drinks for 6,000 yen. Everything was delicious, from the cold jellyfish appetizer and xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) to the stir-fried greens, egg stir-fry, and dessert. The attentive service, especially from the female staff, was exceptional. I definitely want to visit this restaurant again!

It was an elegant Chinese restaurant, but my male companion seemed to be craving something more robust. The crab and lettuce fried rice received great reviews from the women in our group. In addition to A and B lunch sets, we ordered a single dish of spicy shrimp, which turned out to be quite spicy, much to my companion's approval. The staff on the floor were all very polite, and the atmosphere was pleasant. There was a tipping system where you could give a tip to those who provided excellent service using pre-prepared tip cards. However, as I wasn't used to this and found the timing difficult, I decided to put the tip card in the "delicious" box at the end. Thank you for the meal!

I visited the restaurant just past 11 AM on Saturday. I didn't have a reservation, but I was able to get a table right away. I ordered the limited-time cold noodles with spicy chicken, and the soup had a nice balance of strong spiciness and acidity, making it delicious. It seems they started a unique tipping service; you can use it as a discount or give it directly to the staff as a tip. I decided to give it to the server who frequently cleared our empty plates.

I had delicious soup dumplings for lunch. The tip ticket system, where customers can evaluate the service and food, is quite innovative. The all-white interior allows you to see the kitchen, but it's a bit disappointing that the windows can't be opened due to curtains. I definitely want to visit this restaurant for dinner next time. #SoupDumplings #Hot #Yokohama #TipTicket #Delicious #BubbleLover #AlmondTofu

Around 3 PM on a weekday, I found myself in search of lunch and stumbled upon this restaurant. I couldn’t find any à la carte options, so I ordered a set that came with soup dumplings. The set included: a starter of simmered winter melon, jellyfish, soup dumplings, spicy chicken cold noodles, and almond tofu. They mentioned they have a tip system in place, where I was given two tickets labeled 50 Ron. When I handed these tickets to the attentive staff, I learned that the amount would be added to their salary. Alternatively, I could take them home and redeem them for a discount on my next visit. It’s an interesting initiative!

They had a tip card system for evaluating the staff, allowing customers to give feedback to those who provided excellent service. I really enjoyed being able to positively recognize the staff's efforts. The service itself was fantastic, and of course, the food was delicious. Additionally, since the location isn't too crowded yet, it's a hidden gem that's absolutely wonderful.

I was looking for a restaurant in Yokohama to have lunch with my daughter, and I decided to make a reservation at this place, especially since it was located in a new building that caught my attention. To my surprise, my daughter had also been checking it out! Just like the reviews said, the xiaolongbao was delicious, and the hot and sour noodle soup with black Sichuan pepper was incredibly tasty. The staff were all very friendly and kindly refilled our oolong tea multiple times. At the time of payment, I received a 10% discount card valid for weekday dinners, so I plan to make a reservation for dinner next time! ^_^
