Jin Din Rou, located in Zhongshan District, Taipei City, Taiwan, is a Taiwanese restaurant famous for its xiaolongbao (soup dumplings). Near Yokohama Station, which is served by multiple train lines including the JR Tokaido Line, Keihin-Tohoku Line, Yokosuka Line, Shonan-Shinjuku Line, Tokyu Toyoko Line, Minatomirai Line, Keikyu Line, and Sotetsu Line, a new branch called "Jin Din Rou HANARE" has opened. This branch, "Jin Din Rou HANARE Yokohama Front Tsuruyamachi," is located inside "Yokohama Front," a complex building that stands 43 stories high and houses various shops, hotels, and luxury residences. Hearing about this high-end Chinese restaurant in a skyscraper piqued my interest, so I decided to visit.
Upon arrival, I found the place to be quite popular and nearly full. During lunch hours, there are several menu options available:
- Casual Lunch A: 2,178 yen
- Casual Lunch B: 2,288 yen
- Noodles Lunch: 2,750 yen
- Water Lily Course: 3,003 yen
- Sakura Course: 4,213 yen
Each menu item was relatively expensive, so I opted for the simplest option. I ordered "Casual Lunch A" for 2,178 yen. At first glance, the name might suggest something affordable, but for a lunch, it's quite pricey, yet the content was outstanding. The set included a cold dish, xiaolongbao, crab fried rice, and almond tofu. To my surprise, each item—cold dish, xiaolongbao, crab fried rice, and almond tofu—tasted even better than what I had experienced in Yokohama's China Town. The incredible flavor was truly impressive.
