It's a good deal because you get a tall size for the price of a short. By the way, the sugar donut was gone in seconds because I was so hungry that I forgot to take a picture...lol. I had a drip coffee (tall) and a sugar donut, which cost 600 yen in total.

The Starbucks staff were very friendly and talkative. I ordered a strawberry drink, which they still had available. While placing my order, the staff asked, "Is this your first time?" I replied, "No, I love strawberries." Then they said, "We will start selling watermelon drinks tomorrow, so please try it. It's delicious." How kind of them!笑〜

The coffee was hot, which I liked, but personally, it lacked the usual bitterness and acidity, making it somewhat unsatisfying. However, the consistency in the quality of the coffee is impressive. This may be the accepted taste of coffee for many Starbucks regulars, even though it's not my preference. Despite my critical comments, I will probably end up visiting Starbucks again in the future. I bought a mug at the Doraemon Shop at New Chitose Airport. It was a bit pricey at 1980 yen, but I fell in love with it at first sight. There were versions for Hokkaido and Tokyo. It's quite large and I haven't used it for drinks yet because it's too heavy. It's cute though, with Hokkaido's specialties drawn all over it. I might consider getting coffee next time since they have a lot of dairy products for eat-in.

There is a Starbucks at New Chitose Airport. It has a seating area similar to a food court rather than Starbucks-exclusive seating. This store offers a special drink called White Chocolate & Espresso Frappuccino. Although it is called white chocolate, it seems to use white mocha syrup. It has a sweet taste similar to Affogato Frappuccino. It's not too sweet, but it has a comforting sweetness. Even if it were to be available nationwide...?

Located right across from Royce Chocolate World, the store has only a counter and the dining area is a free space resembling a food court for customers to eat and drink. It was very quiet at 7:00 PM on Saturday, with very few people around. It was perfect for a relaxing time. Although New Chitose Airport Terminal is usually crowded, this store is a bit away from the main area, so it seems to be free from the crowds. I haven't been here during the daytime, so I can't say for sure.

I have used this place several times before. Even when it's busy, they handle things quickly so there's not much of a wait. Pumpkin Spice Latte (Tall) ¥540 (tax included) A fall classic, pumpkin-related menu item... although it doesn't actually contain pumpkin. It's a latte with flavored sauce added and nutmeg sprinkled on top. The nutmeg flavor is stronger than the pumpkin. If you like cinnamon, you'll probably love it.

I tried the White Chocolate & Espresso Frappuccino (Short 550 yen), Chicken & Cheese Cream Stone Oven Campagne (545 yen), and Cream Chiffon Cake (462 yen). There are three limited items at Chitose Airport, but I chose the Frappuccino. It was cold, but better than coffee with ice. I couldn't find my favorite bread, so I was disappointed. Maybe I should have chosen the unique Pandanuts. The chiffon cake was fluffy, but sweet. It probably goes well with bitter coffee. I visited the store on the middle day of the consecutive holidays. I ordered a limited menu item only available at New Chitose Airport store, but hmm, it was quite sweet. I was looking forward to taking a photo of the plastic cup, but it was a paper cup, so for those who are looking forward to taking a photo, it seems better to request a plastic cup (the Frappuccino comes in a plastic cup).

I searched for Starbucks at New Chitose Airport and found out that it was located in Smile Road (connecting the international and domestic terminals). It was like a food court with shared seating, where I had to rely on makeshift dividers. I decided to sit and ordered the Okinawa "Karīchin Sukō Vanilla Caramel Frappuccino" for 680 yen. It took 6 minutes for my drink to arrive, and I had to use a paper straw which I don't like. The drink had a strong scent of chin-suko (Okinawan cookie). It was difficult to finish the Frappuccino without leaving any.
