We ordered the large size Shimahokke set meal for 1,300 yen, and my partner ordered the Nishin set meal for 900 yen. The fish was delicious as usual, and the rice, made from Rankoshi rice, was very filling - it was like a large portion compared to other set meal restaurants. I wish they had asked us if we wanted more rice at the beginning. The dish with the grilled fish also had some kelp on it, which added a slightly spicy flavor. Overall, we were satisfied with the taste of the side dishes as well.

A specialty shop for grilled fish set meals has opened in front of Kutchan Station! Kutchan and Niseko areas have been seeing trendy cafes opening one after another, but this might be the first affordable set meal restaurant. They use delicious Rankoshi rice. The chef's choice set meal featured herring and salmon on this day. The small side dish that came with it was also tasty!

I went there for the first time. I ordered the grilled salmon set meal because I wanted to eat grilled fish. There is no need to worry about the next table in the spacious seating area. The grilled fish set meal matched the friendly service. It's a rare restaurant where you can relax and feel comfortable. The food was delicious without being pretentious. It's nice to have a place like this.
