It was my first visit in a while. Just like last time, this place is always crowded with men who look like they love to eat. However, there were only 4 people waiting outside, which was a good amount. I ordered the soupless ramen with 250g of noodles and added powdered cheese for 1050 yen. I realized a bit late, but I think the ideal amount of noodles for Jiro-style ramen is about 50g less than my preference for tsukemen. I ordered normal amounts of vegetables, garlic, and fat. The ramen arrived with the aroma of garlic. The creamy and slightly salty flavor perfectly coated the thick noodles, making it very delicious. The chashu was so tender that it melted in my mouth, and the crunchy bean sprouts added a nice texture. On my way back, I didn't feel bloated or have any stomach issues, so it seems like it's very satisfying and filling. Thank you for the meal.

Fukurou (Tsuruhashi) is serving their signature Jiro-style cold noodle dish with spicy mayonnaise, extra toppings, and a separate dish of spicy fried chicken. The noodles are cooked soft, with a little garlic and vegetables. Additional toppings include extra pork, quail eggs, and a raw egg. This cold noodle dish is called Chilled Chuka, weighing 300g, with extra spicy mayonnaise on the side. The reviewer recommends adding extra toppings and praises the Chilled Chuka as one of the best in Tokyo. The reviewer last visited Fukurou in August 2019 when it was still operating as Menya Fukuhara in Imazato, before relocating to Tsuruhashi and becoming a permanent establishment. The restaurant is the second branch of the Fukuhara group. The reviewer notes a 15-person wait at 6:30 pm.

We arrived 10 minutes before the store opened and were the first in line. When the store opened, there were only two of us. We ordered the limited cold noodles for 1100 yen, with extra garlic vegetables, red mayonnaise, and spicy fried egg toppings. The noodles were firm and had a good chew without being too hard. The sesame sauce was a bit heavy when mixed with the noodles, but the flavor was not overpowering. The chicken thigh meat was cold and the sauce had solidified, which was disappointing. Towards the end, the dish became quite voluminous with the vegetables and sesame sauce mixing together. The garlic was not as strong as in other ramen shops, but the spicy fried egg toppings added a nice kick. The red mayonnaise was not very flavorful. Overall, the dish was satisfying with a generous portion size.

"Ramen Fukurou" Cold Chinese noodles 500NnY Spicy fried egg with garlic mayo + 2 quail eggs. I came to eat cold Chinese noodles today. The limited edition noodles I was curious about. The vegetables include daikon and carrots, and as expected, this Jiro-style cold noodles are great. The noodles, soaked in cold water, have a nice firmness. The garlic mayo goes really well with it, and it's super spicy. Today's lunch was at "Ramen Fukurou" in Tsuruhashi. It was a support lunch for a restaurant that is still operating despite the pandemic. Located on the northwest side of Tsuruhashi Station, right on Tamazukuri Street, just north of the Shimotemmai intersection, "Ramen Fukurou" is where I had their summer limited edition Part 3 "Hiyashi Chuka." I ordered the 250g noodles with less garlic, extra vegetables, garlic mayo, and spicy fried egg topping. I had the option of choosing between red mayo and garlic mayo, and of course, I chose garlic mayo! The summer tradition of "Ramen Fukurou," the summer limited edition menu "Hiyashi Chuka," has started, so I went right away. This is a soup-less cold noodle dish called "Jiro-style Hiyashi Chuka." The noodles are extra thick flat noodles. The noodles are mixed with a special sesame sauce, topped with vegetables (shredded daikon radish, shredded carrot, mizuna), cherry tomatoes, and chicken thigh chashu. Garlic mayonnaise is poured over the vegetables, and spicy fried egg is served on the side. I started by flipping the noodles and then gradually mixed everything while eating. This year's "Hiyashi Chuka" was also amazing. The thick flat noodles, cooled in cold water, have a completely different taste compared to when eaten in ramen, which is really interesting. The owner's blog recommended trying "red mayo," which is a mixture of red pickled ginger and mayonnaise. I might challenge myself to try "red mayo" next time! The Hiyashi Chuka was incredibly delicious!

I tried the limited cold noodles they had, and it was delicious! I had it last year as well, but this year's version seemed even tastier. I personally prefer regular ramen or soupless noodles, but for those who frequent the restaurant, trying it out once in a while is worth it.

Crane Bridge's popular Jiro-style ramen◎ Regular Ramen (250g) 950 yen◎ Quail Eggs (5 pieces) 100 yenExtra vegetables, extra garlic, extra lardAlways crowded, a regular of the top 100 on Tabelog, affiliated with Fukuhara-san seriesWhenever you go, there's always a line. I managed to slip in on my first try by arriving 10 minutes before opening and becoming the 6th person in line. After purchasing a meal ticket, they ask about the amount of toppings, so I went for all extras. The thick, emulsified soup with a good texture and the homemade flat thick noodles have a great bite to them. The flavor of garlic and lard is irresistible, and it's quite addictive. Be careful with the extra garlic as it's quite heavy, so make sure not to eat it before a day off...••••••Shop Information••••••Shop Name: Ramen FukurouAddress: 15-24 Funahashi-cho, Tennoji-ku, Osaka City, Osaka PrefectureNearest Station: TsuruhashiBusiness Hours: 11:00-14:00, 18:00-22:00Regular Holiday: NonePhone: 06-7221-0640*All information is excerpted from gourmet websites, etc. The information provided may have changed, so please call the shop before visiting to confirm.•••••••••••••••••••••

This is a sister restaurant of the always crowded famous shop "Fukuhara", specializing in Jiro-style ramen. I revisited around 8 pm on a weekday. The restaurant was full, with about 3 people waiting outside. Last time, I ordered the special ramen, so this time I ordered... the Daikoku Miso Ramen (400g) for 1100 yen, plus a Chashu Don for 300 yen. The medium-thick noodles were topped with a generous amount of lard, bean sprouts, and garlic, creating a visually impressive and junky Jiro-style appearance. Mix the soup base that has settled at the bottom with the ingredients to evenly distribute it throughout. Despite its appearance, it was a mild Jiro-style ramen and quite delicious. The flavor wasn't too strong, with even solo female customers present, making it a lighter Jiro-style option. The Chashu Don included the tender, melt-in-your-mouth chashu from the ramen, mixed with a bit of soup for a comforting porridge-like experience. I have completely fallen in love with Fukurou's Jiro-style ramen. I will definitely visit again.

It's been a while since visiting Fukuhara-san for some Jiro-style ramen. It may seem like opposites, but that's just Fukuhara-san's style. I ordered the "Regular, Soupless (250g)" for 950 yen with extra vegetables and less garlic. The thick-cut pork belly chashu on top with bean sprouts, cabbage, and added cheddar cheese for 100 yen really changes the flavor. Even with less garlic, the strong flavor is a bit risky for work in the afternoon. There's quite a bit of fat in the default toppings and a spicy kick from the black pepper. The homemade noodles are different from the typical Jiro-style, with a glossy texture and firm chewiness. Even though it's soupless, there's still plenty of soup at the bottom, which seems to be a pork bone broth emulsion. "Menya Fukuhara" is my favorite ramen shop in Osaka, so I can't help but have high expectations. Maybe a bit more originality would make it more appealing. It's almost closing time at 1:30 pm on a weekday, but the shop is almost full. Even after 2 pm, there's a line forming outside. It seems like they have a solid fan base.

I tried Kimura-kun's owl dish. I'm not a fan of spicy food, so I didn't find it very tasty, haha. Personally, I prefer the regular chashu. However, I think it would be recommended for people who like spicy food, so please give it a try.

Ramen Fukurou in Tennoji-ku, Osaka City. Located just north of the "Shiomahara" intersection along Tamazusu Street from Tsuruhashi Station on the JR Loop Line, Kintetsu Osaka Line and Nara Line, and Osaka Metro Sen-Nichimae Line. Ramen Fukurou is a second brand of Menya Fuku Hara in Imazato, offering a hearty ramen with a rich emulsified soup and homemade thick noodles! I visited around 12:30 on a weekday and purchased a ticket for "Medium Tsukemen (300g of noodles)" (1050 yen) from the ticket machine inside the restaurant before lining up outside. The sun was harsh while waiting in line, but the restaurant provided parasols, which was thoughtful. There were 4 people in line in front of me. While waiting, a staff member came to collect the ticket and asked about toppings, to which I replied "all normal." After about 15 minutes, I entered the restaurant. The restaurant has a stylish interior with a counter seating for 10 people. The Tsukemen arrived in about 5 minutes, and it gave off a Jiro-style Tsukemen vibe, making me excited just by looking at it (laughs). I tried the dipping sauce, which had a rich pork bone flavor with a hint of soy sauce, and the large pieces of back fat added a nice texture. The thick pork belly chashu was flavorful even without dipping it in the sauce, but passing it through added a bit of mellowness. The garlic was roughly chopped and generously portioned! It felt like a regular serving size, or was it? (laughs) The bean sprouts and cabbage, which felt a bit watery during my previous visit, were crunchy and delicious this time. The thick noodles had a strong wheaty flavor typical of Jiro-style noodles, with a good chewiness and bounce. Lastly, I had the soup diluted to warm it up, and I finished every last bit. Overall, it was a very delicious Jiro-style Tsukemen. The staff's service was also good, and I definitely want to visit again. ■ Ramen Fukurou ■ Business hours 11:00-14:00, 18:00-22:00 ■ Closed: None ■ Address: 15-24 Funahashicho, Tennoji-ku, Osaka City, Osaka

Today's lunch was at "Ramen Fukurou" in Tsuruhashi. I wanted to support a restaurant that is still open despite the challenges of the pandemic. I tried the summer limited edition menu item called "Fukurou no Kimura-kun" at a ramen shop in Tsuruhashi called "Ramen Fukurou". It came with a regular serving of noodles and a mini rice bowl as a side. The "Kimura-kun" is a noodle dish created and named by the owner of the legendary udon shop "Kamatake Udon" in Namba, Takeshi Kida. It consists of noodles topped with kimchi and "eating chili oil". The "Fukurou no Kimura-kun" is the Ramen Fukurou version of this dish. It features homemade eating chili oil and kimchi from a collaboration with Kobe Shokai, a well-known kimchi shop in Tsuruhashi. The dish is a hot and spicy mixed noodles dish that will blow away the heat of summer. It also comes with a mini rice bowl. The noodles are homemade thick flat noodles with a sweet and savory soy sauce base. Toppings include diced pork belly chashu, white kimchi, chopped seaweed, minced white leeks, homemade eating chili oil, and a raw egg yolk in the center. I mixed everything well before eating. The homemade eating chili oil was really good, not too spicy but had a gradual heat that added a nice kick to the dish. The combination of the chili oil, kimchi, and sweet and savory soy sauce worked perfectly together to create a delicious mixed noodles dish. I finished off by diving into the rice and enjoyed every bite. The Fukurou no Kimura-kun was incredibly delicious. Please note that this menu item is no longer available this year.

Arrived at Shimemoto Hara intersection at 20:51 on Monday, July 31, and easily entered the shop with available seating. Purchased a ticket at the ticket machine inside the shop, confirmed toppings when handing over the ticket. Ordered a medium ramen for 950 yen with extra vegetables, extra fat, and a little garlic. Sat at the black counter seats. Noodles are thick, flat, and straight. The soup is thick and creamy, with a good balance of extra fat and vegetables. Added some fish powder from the table halfway through, but didn't notice much difference. Even after finishing the noodles and toppings, the soup alone was delicious. Enjoyed drinking the soup as well. Left the shop at 21:19.

While craving miso ramen, I visited a restaurant and ordered a 400g miso with 2 slices of pork. However, the soup was lukewarm and the noodles were slightly overcooked, resulting in a mushy texture. The miso flavor was unbalanced due to the overpowering taste of ginger mixed in. Overall, I would not order miso ramen again if I were to revisit this place.

Mini Ramen (150g) (Tonkotsu + Soy Sauce 900 yen) ★★★★ The soup is a pork bone-based, lard soy sauce flavor. The noodles are thick straight noodles. The toppings include pork belly chashu, cabbage, and bean sprouts. The rich and flavorful soup is made by emulsifying pork bone broth with plenty of lard, adding a thick soy sauce seasoning with sweetness from the lard, and bringing out the umami of the pork bone broth. It has a punchy, junky finish with plenty of garlic. The homemade noodles have a firm bounce and can be enjoyed heartily. The large and thick chashu is well-seasoned and delicious. You can adjust the amount of vegetables, lard, and garlic to your preference. I ordered everything in regular size. Additionally, you can enjoy flavor variations with the provided shichimi, black pepper, and fish powder. I tried the No. 1 Jiro-style tsukemen in Osaka! It's from the well-known Menya Fukuhara shop. I went to "Ramen Fukurou" and it reminded me of the Jiro-style tsukemen I used to eat a lot during high school at Ramen Torao in Shinkoiwa, Tokyo. The tsukemen here is so nostalgic and emotional. The owner of this shop used to work at that affiliated shop, so you can enjoy a well-replicated and evolved tsukemen. I truly think he is a genius without any bias, so definitely check it out! #RamenFukurou #MenyaFukuhara #JiroStyle #JiroStyleTsukemen #TsuruhashiGourmet #TsuruhashiLunch #TsuruhashiRamen #OsakaGourmet #OsakaLunch #OsakaRamen #OsakaJiroStyle

[Ramen Fukurou] (Osaka, Tsuruhashi) - Noodle: The noodles are the highlight, thick flat noodles typical of Jiro-style tsukemen. They are delicious on their own, with a strong wheat flavor. Unlike many Kansai-style tsukemen noodles that are too soft for my liking, these noodles are cooked to the perfect firmness. - Soup: The tsukedare sauce is rich in pork umami, with a sinful, creamy texture typical of Jiro-style. It is emulsified and easy to eat, with a high salt content that provides a satisfying taste. It doesn't have the overly thick, gloopy feel of Matoma-style, but it coats the noodles perfectly. The soup for dipping is also excellent. - Toppings: The large amount of bean sprouts retains a nice crunch. The delicious tsukedare sauce makes it easy to finish off the plentiful bean sprouts. The pork chashu is outstanding, with a perfect texture and flavor that brings back high school memories. The garlic adds a spicy kick and aroma that is stimulating. - Atmosphere: The restaurant is exceptionally clean but still has the cozy atmosphere typical of a Jiro-style establishment. The staff are polite and provide a reassuring customer service experience. - Overall: This is without a doubt the number one Jiro-style ramen in Osaka, offering a delicious experience with excellent customer service. It's a must-visit for both women and first-time visitors. Opening hours: 11:00-14:00, 18:00-22:00, Closed on Tuesdays. No free parking available. Mini ramen (150g) for 900 yen with toppings such as chashu, bean sprouts, cabbage, lard, and garlic. The noodles are homemade thick straight noodles. The soup is a pork bone-based soy sauce with lard. It was a sunny Friday. Arrived around 10:55 with no line. The restaurant was full shortly after opening. It took about 15 minutes to get the ramen. I had been curious about this place for a while, and with the hot weather, I wanted something hearty to boost my stamina. It's a Jiro-inspired ramen shop run by a well-known group. I asked for extra vegetables, lard, and garlic. Now, onto the taste - the pork bone broth is delicious! The emulsified soup is rich, and the sweetness of the lard combined with the power of garlic makes it unbeatable. It's a junky and addictive flavor. The homemade noodles are thick and firm, with a smooth surface and a good chew that doesn't get lost in the soup. The chashu is large and tender, almost melting in your mouth. The bean sprouts and cabbage add a healthy touch. You can season with shichimi and fish powder on the table. I used shichimi and fish powder to enjoy it until the end. The garlic was a bit strong, but it gave me the stamina I needed. It was just the right amount for me, and it was delicious. I haven't been able to post an article for a long time, so I went to Fukurou. I ordered ramen with soup, and I upgraded everything, but the original soup was so delicious that I think it would have been better with less or no extra back fat and garlic. I personally think this emulsified soup is delicious. It was a meticulous job. I was very satisfied for 900 yen.

I waited for about 5 minutes before being able to enter the restaurant. I ordered a large ramen with free toppings. The portion was bigger than expected! I wondered if I overdid it as I ate. The thickness of the noodles paired perfectly with the broth. It was assertive without being overwhelming. I mixed in the toppings as I ate and finished everything. Thank you for the meal.

Today's lunch was at Tsuruhashi's "Ramen Fukurou". I wanted to support a restaurant that is still open despite the pandemic. I had the "Soup-less Ramen (regular)" with a topping of quail eggs (2). I asked for less garlic, more vegetables, and less oil. The regular serving comes with 250g of noodles. The "Soup-less Ramen" at "Ramen Fukurou" is described as a mix of domestically produced lard and special sauce, creating a sweet and salty addictive flavor. The noodles are homemade thick flat noodles. The sauce is a soy sauce-based sauce made by combining well-emulsified pork bone soup with pork lard and black pepper. The toppings include a thick slice of pork belly chashu, 2 quail eggs, plenty of vegetables (bean sprouts and a little cabbage), pork lard on top, and chopped raw garlic on the side. I mixed the vegetables and noodles thoroughly before eating. Despite being called "Soup-less", there was actually quite a bit of "soup", which was a pleasant surprise. It's not just a soy sauce-based sauce, but more like a concentrated pork bone sauce. The combination of this pork bone sauce and thick flat noodles was absolutely delicious! The soup-less ramen was incredibly tasty!
