I visited on Friday night. The course was omakase only for 4500 yen. It included 3 small dishes and 12 pieces of sushi. It was very reasonable and delicious. However, if asked if there was something outstanding, I would say it was just average. It feels like a neighborhood sushi restaurant where you would casually drop by if you lived nearby. Thank you for the meal ☺︎

It was my third visit in about 5 years. The appetizer at the beginning was good, but maybe due to the typhoon, the fish selection was limited. The sushi lacked flavor, the sea urchin had no taste, and the clams were fishy. Despite requesting to avoid eel, it was still served. The rice temperature and texture were good, but there was too much salt on the toppings and the pickled ginger was too salty. The regular customers received good service, but others were treated coldly. Even when ordering sake, water was not served unless requested, and tea was not offered until the end of the meal. The set menu was cheap, but the bill for beer and sake was surprisingly high at 1900 yen. I won't be visiting again!

I go to various sushi restaurants, but I keep coming back here because I think it's the best. It's always full of regular customers and reservations are a must. They serve sushi with a soft and fluffy texture made with red vinegar, and they can also make it firmer if you prefer. The menu changes depending on the season, so sometimes they have chawanmushi (savory egg custard) and sometimes they don't. The space is only at the counter, and you can relax like you're at home while watching TV.

In Noda Hanshin, there is a sushi restaurant rumored to have amazing cost performance! A must-save place with delicious food recommended by the reviewer. The omakase course costs 4,500 yen and includes various dishes such as fresh and flavorful sashimi, delicious nigiri sushi, and tasty side dishes like clams and eggplant. The reviewer particularly enjoyed the golden-eye snapper, marinated tuna, and horse mackerel sushi. The restaurant is not too difficult to book, making it a hidden gem with great value for money. Overall, it is highly recommended for those looking for a satisfying dining experience.

A top-rated restaurant with reservations that are hard to come by, often featured on TV. Reservations need to be made at least one month in advance. They serve Edo-style sushi using red vinegar, with an omakase menu that guarantees satisfaction with any type of fish. Their sushi with finely chopped green onions is also delicious, as well as their recommended items like abalone. The chef's daily recommendations are always a hit.

I regularly visit this place. It is always full, from regular customers to first-timers, so reservations are a must. We start with a toast with beer, then move on to three appetizers before ordering sushi. They offer five types of sake, so we enjoy a small serving of each. I've never tried their shochu highballs, but I'm thinking of ordering one on a hot day. The sushi is delicious and easy to eat, so we quickly move on to the final dish of thin rolls and red miso soup. We end the meal with hot tea and pay the bill. Normally, we would go to a second location for drinks, but we are too full this time, so we disperse. Overall, it's a very satisfying restaurant.

Sushi Kappo Mori ( @mori.nobukazu ) 1-13-13 Daikai, Fukushima-ku, Osaka 4 minutes walk from Noda-Hanshin Station, 4 minutes walk from Ebisucho Station 18:00-24:00 (Irregular holidays) I was invited to a dinner at this hidden sushi gem in Noda-Hanshin, and I went to check it out. I was surprised to find this place in a small alley, with only 8 seats inside and the chef working alone. The phone kept ringing for reservations while I was there, showing how popular this place is becoming. They offer a set course for 4,500 yen, which includes 3 appetizers, 12 pieces of sushi, and red miso soup. The quality of the sushi was outstanding, with generous and delicious toppings. Every piece was so tasty that I couldn't stop praising it. The chef's skillful sushi-making is truly exceptional. If you are a sushi lover, you must visit this place. Noda-Hanshin Station, just a 3-minute walk from Ebine Station, or a short walk from Noda Station. This sushi restaurant in a quiet residential area offers a great course for 4500 yen. The course includes 3 appetizers, 12 pieces of sushi, 1 rolled sushi, and red miso soup with sea urchin, red shrimp, golden eye snapper, clams, and fatty tuna. The skilled chef creates authentic Edo-style sushi at an amazing price.

Counter-only restaurant interior. Always full of regular customers. If the ingredients run out, it's over, so even if there are empty seats on the day, you may be turned away. Reservations are a must. Three appetizers and chef's choice sushi. Start with beer. Satisfied with Japanese sake that goes well with sushi. I always enjoy it because of the meticulous work. It's hard to go to a second restaurant because of the satisfaction.

I visited the hidden gem restaurant "Sushi Kappo Mori" for the first time. This place is famous for serving authentic Edomae sushi while being very budget-friendly. It is located about a 5-minute walk from Noda-Hanshin station. The sushi rice is seasoned with red vinegar, slightly firm, and just the right size to melt in your mouth. They only offer an omakase course which includes 2 appetizers, 2 sashimi dishes, 11 pieces of nigiri sushi, inari sushi, and a seasonal chawanmushi for 4,500 yen, which is a great value for the quality. Reservations are a must as the restaurant is always full. Every sushi was delicious, especially the shrimp and salmon roe, and the salted conger eel was exceptional. The sake selection was also impressive, with highlights being the Kurogyu junmai sake, Kannoko sweet junmai sake, and Shimobashira junmai ginjo sake. I was particularly moved by the smooth taste of the Kannoko sake. This restaurant is a true hidden gem in Fukushima-ku, and I would definitely become a regular if I lived nearby.

I had been curious about Morisan for a while. I was able to make a reservation about a week ago by calling. It is a small hidden gem of a restaurant located in a narrow alley in Hankyu Noda Station area. It has a cozy atmosphere with only the master running the place. There are about 8 seats at the counter. The menu consists of only an omakase course, which includes watercress, octopus and sea bream, yellowtail, sardines, squid, medium fatty tuna, baby octopus, red leg shrimp, barracuda, chawanmushi, salmon roe, green onions, scallop, conger eel, and kampyo roll. And all of this for only 4,500 yen, which is a great deal! The sushi was incredibly delicious. I particularly liked the vinegared rice. The fish was fresh and the portions were generous. The rice was the perfect firmness and temperature for my taste. The place was fully booked on the day I went, and customers kept coming in as the night went on. It's no wonder, as the quality of the food is top-notch. The master may seem a bit unfriendly, but that just adds to the charm. Although I wasn't a fan of the fatty tuna, I would definitely want to visit this place again!

The restaurant is located about a 5-minute walk from Noda-Hanshin Station on the Osaka Metro Sen-Nichimae Line, as well as Noda Station on the Hanshin Electric Railway. It is tucked away in a quiet alley where residential areas and drinking establishments mix, exuding a deep and mysterious atmosphere. I made a reservation in advance and visited around 8:00 pm on a weekday. The small shop has about 8 seats, and there were a couple of other customers already there. The owner, though quiet, seems like an interesting person if you engage in conversation. They have a selection of sake, including some recommended by the owner. We started with octopus and "tamori" sashimi, which is a type of fish commonly found in the Seto Inland Sea. It had a subtle sweetness different from red snapper. The texture of the octopus was unique and enjoyable. The sushi course began with light white fish, moved on to tuna and conger eel, and finished with sweet shrimp. The second half featured luxurious ingredients like salmon roe and blackthroat seaperch, followed by two simmered dishes and rolled gourd. Instead of white rice, they used red vinegar made from sake lees for the Edo-style sushi, which paired perfectly with the slightly firm rice. The meal ended with a comforting red miso soup. The 4500 yen course was satisfying, and additional orders are available after the course if desired. Reservations are recommended as the restaurant seems to be busy. It would be a shame to miss out on this place by walking in without a reservation. I highly recommend it for when you crave delicious, authentic sushi in a casual setting!

If you want to enjoy sushi while chatting with a friend and getting good value for your money, this restaurant with a set course menu is recommended! You can also add more dishes, but they may run out of ingredients, so if you find something delicious, make a repeat reservation as soon as possible. 🌟

I don't usually go to Nodahanshin, but I wanted to try it so I made a reservation and went. It was fully booked. The 4,500 yen course is too cheap. I was happy to be able to eat nodoguro. I will go again when the season changes!

The taste is delicious and the cost performance is quite good. However, you can only order a set course, so the tempo of each dish coming out one by one is quite slow. The owner runs the restaurant alone, so it can't be helped, but I was wondering if making sushi takes this long! The whole course took 2 and a half hours to finish. This restaurant may not be suitable for impatient people like me! It's a place where you can sip on alcohol and nibble on sushi. Also, I don't think it's suitable for a date. The inside of the restaurant is cluttered with dishes and doesn't give off a vibe that would be appealing to women...

I visited Sushi Kappo Morisan. It's a little hard to find, located in an alley off the shopping street. The chef serves only omakase courses at the small counter, managing everything alone. The chef is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. For 4500 yen, you get 12 pieces of sushi, mozuku vinegar, hamo and octopus sashimi, and red miso soup. It's a great deal and everything was incredibly delicious. The tuna and conger eel were so melt-in-your-mouth! I read in other reviews that they have sea urchin battleship sushi, but unfortunately, it wasn't available when I went. Despite the difficult times, I hope they continue to do well. I will definitely go back. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Located one street off the shopping street of Noda Hanshin, Sushi Kappo Mori opens at 6:00 PM. With only 8 seats, the restaurant quickly fills up. The menu consists of a chef's choice course for 4,500 yen. I was curious about what to expect for 4,500 yen in the Noda Hanshin area, but from the octopus vinegar dish to the seasonal conger eel and bonito tataki, followed by a satisfying selection of sushi including 12 varieties, the red vinegar rice had a great texture. The seared barracuda was delicious, and of course, the golden eye snapper and seasonal sea urchin were sweet and reflected the season. I was impressed with the cost performance.

Sushi Kappo Mori, located a 3-minute walk from Nodahanshin Station, offers a course meal with 3 dishes: 12 pieces of sushi, chawanmushi, and green tea for 4500 yen. The course also includes plenty of drinks, costing 7000 yen in total. The authentic Edomae sushi served here has slightly firm rice but is surprisingly delicious. It's a place you'll want to visit again and again.
