onikuma
My favorite restaurant in September 2016 is far away so I come here occasionally. It's always a popular place. The taste of the meat is still better at that place in Ohno. It's been over 2 years since I last came here in May 2014. When I want to eat yakiniku, I always decide on Hibiya. This place was closed for renovation for a while. After that, they started selling aged meat and displaying it in a case. Before I knew it, they opened on May 1st and I went there a few days later. The opening menu was reasonably priced. As soon as I entered, I could see the meat. I was a bit surprised to see aged meat now, but since I missed eating Matsuzaka beef this year, I was looking forward to it. The meat is quite delicious, but I don't know, the sauce doesn't seem to go well with it. There are two types of sauces, but both are just okay. I prefer eating a small amount of delicious meat, so I think it's a good restaurant. If you become a member (for free), there are some menu items that are a bit cheaper, but I wish they would just include everything together. This is a casual yakiniku restaurant in the city. The service is good, so it's easy to enter. The interior is clean and the meat is delicious. I also often go to the affiliated restaurant across the street, Kurogyu Kurobuta Shabu Shabu Chirigoya. If it's purely yakiniku, I like Yakiniku Hibiyaya the most, but it's far away... This place is close by so you can go on a whim. However, it's been crowded recently, so if you have a strong intention to eat here today, it's wise to make a reservation before going (sometimes they are full and can't accommodate you). I don't mind going to a different restaurant, but the meat is generally delicious here. If you don't like fatty meat, you can order cheaper cuts and be fine. I like the melt-in-your-mouth meat, so I usually order the assorted platter for about 5000 yen. It's a good mix of high-quality meat. Sometimes if there are two of us, we might need to add more. They also have a wide variety of meal and side menu options, so I think it's suitable for families or gatherings. There are autographs of Master Tanimura, Chisako, Gakki, etc. displayed at the entrance.
