I went to eat sushi on a weekend night. The restaurant I visited was Sushi Nakamoto in Ura Namba. It is a place where you can enjoy high-quality, authentic sushi made by owner Nakamoto-san, a member of the Hidezo Group, using red vinegar, all at a reasonable price. We started with a sashimi platter, which was fresh and beautiful as always. We also ordered ankimo with ponzu sauce, homemade fresh caviar, and toro-taku roll. The food was delicious and paired well with sake. We also enjoyed items like buri miso-yaki and chawanmushi. The sushi, including items like white sea bream, yellowtail, and uni, was exceptional. Overall, we had a great dining experience and look forward to visiting again in the future. Cheers!

I visited the restaurant for a date at the opening time of 5:00 pm. It was difficult to make a reservation over the phone, but I finally managed to do so and visited the restaurant. By the time it was past 5:00 pm, the restaurant was already full. They had a wide variety of drinks and the dishes were excellent. The sushi was delicious and it was a very cost-effective restaurant. I definitely want to visit again next time.

I was recommended to go there and the fish was all fresh and delicious! I forgot to take photos, but the sea urchin, scallops, and salmon roe were all very tasty. The chawanmushi had a gentle flavor, and I would like to go again.

Second visit! I was so impressed the first time that I wanted to come back again. I decided to call a week ago and was able to make a reservation! However, it seems like they don't accept walk-in customers without a reservation. Reservations are a must! - Inside-out roll: It was a bit different this time, maybe because it's summer now? Last time, it had fatty tuna and sea urchin, but maybe sea urchin is more expensive now. It was delicious but a bit disappointing. - Sushi: Learning from last time, I didn't go for the chef's choice and ordered my favorites. The eel, conger eel, and sea urchin were all delicious! - Miso-marinated grilled fish: Crispy skin and tender flesh, very tasty. - Oyster simmered in soy sauce: The oysters were huge! Not too strong in flavor, more on the delicate side. Goes well with sake. - Octopus with ponzu sauce: A refreshing appetizer. - Red miso soup (with mushrooms): It warmed me up. The menu isn't extensive, but the quality of the fish is really good! I prefer the menu in winter, so I want to come back again in winter.

I made a reservation and visited "Sushi Nakamoto" in Minami-Namba. It is a well-known restaurant in the Namba area, part of the "Hidezo" group, so I had confidence in the quality of the fish and cost performance. It is easily accessible from Namba Station, but the closest is Nipponbashi Station (exit 5) on the subway, about a 5-minute walk away. The restaurant is located in a relatively quiet area. The stylish interior with glass windows allows you to see inside from the outside. There is a large L-shaped counter and many customers visible. It is not a difficult place to make a reservation, but there were still many customers on the day, so I think making a reservation is a good idea. It was a Friday night when I visited, and there were many customers in their mid-20s to early 30s, with some older customers as well. The menu includes a variety of seafood dishes such as sashimi, grilled dishes, and simmered dishes on the top row, and sushi menu on the bottom row. It may be more accurate to say that it is a seafood izakaya where you can also eat sushi. From the way the staff were talking, there were some repeat customers, but it seemed like there were more people who mainly ordered fish dishes like assorted sashimi and grilled fish rather than sushi. Well, there are also athletes who are not supposed to eat white rice, so maybe there is a demand for menu items without rice. The sushi mainly uses red vinegar, and many of them are prepared in a way that you can eat them without dipping in soy sauce. I tried the omakase set of 5 pieces and various a la carte items, and they were all of a certain quality. In terms of the restaurant's evaluation, if I were to describe it in terms of a date, it would be more suitable for a casual date rather than a special occasion date (a bit confusing?). Finally got to go! I've been wanting to go for a while, but it was hard to get through on the phone and it's a very popular restaurant that's always fully booked! I was able to go on Friday at 9 o'clock! It was amazing! The sushi was delicious, and you can order one piece at a time, so you can try a variety of things and feel very happy! The oyster ponzu was also delicious. I want to go again!

This is the famous sushi restaurant Hideozo, owned by the owner of Namba. Inside the restaurant, there is a large L-shaped counter seat and table seats in the left back. With an open kitchen, the atmosphere of Edo-style sushi is lively and the interior is beautiful. Whether it's sashimi, sake appetizers, sushi, or rolls, all the menu items have great cost-performance and high quality that make you want to keep drinking. The sushi is made with red vinegar and each piece is carefully crafted. The rice is lightly packed, allowing you to feel the individual grains, making the shari exceptional. You can enjoy the quality of high-end sushi restaurants that cost over 10,000 yen per person at a lower price, so it is highly recommended.

I haven't been able to find that quality in Osaka, so I haven't been a repeat customer, but this place is definitely worth coming back to! I made a reservation at a sushi restaurant where you can enjoy the best sushi and appetizers at a reasonable price, starting at 5:00 p.m. I arrived at the restaurant as soon as it opened. The sashimi platter included 7 varieties, such as striped jack and wild sea bream. I then ordered a set of 5 nigiri, and the raw conger eel nigiri was amazingly delicious. I couldn't stop ordering more dishes like vinegar oysters and grilled items, and ended up eating about twice as much as usual. The nigiri pieces were a bit small, but you can enjoy a variety of options and the atmosphere of the restaurant is great, allowing you to enjoy sake and sushi without any pretense. There were also many types of sake available beyond the menu, so sake lovers will find this place irresistible.

The restaurant is located about a 5-minute walk from Nihonbashi Station. It's a bit hard to find as it's tucked away from the main street. The sushi is delicious and worth the price. The atmosphere at the counter is nice, making it easy to casually drop by, yet it also has a touch of luxury.

When it comes to sushi restaurants that are easy to get into for drinking, there used to be places like Kitaro Sushi, but in recent years there haven't been many. This restaurant opened earlier than the current popular chain with long lines, but thanks to the rise of that chain, it seems easier to make a reservation now. While it may lose to many other restaurants in terms of simple affordability, when comparing price and taste, the cost performance is definitely top-notch in the city center.

My younger brother passed by this restaurant and saw that it was crowded and popular, so he made a reservation and we went together. The restaurant only has a counter, and they serve sashimi and simmered dishes as well. The sushi was small but easy to eat, with red vinegar rice that gave it an elegant touch. Every dish we ordered was delicious. They had a variety of Japanese sake, and the one I enjoyed the most was Machida. It had a rich and savory taste that you could enjoy on its own even without any food. It paired well with the sushi, bringing out the best in each other. Today we went to Nakamoto-san's place, which is rumored to have great cost performance. It was bustling with young people around here. We quickly ordered: - Assorted sashimi (7 kinds) - Tai with konbu - Eel - Swordtip squid - Akami (lean tuna) and chutoro (medium fatty tuna) - Botan shrimp - Anago (sea eel) - Green onion - Karasumi (bottarga) - Water eggplant The fish slices were really big. The red rice was slightly soft. We went late, so some ingredients were already sold out, which was a bit disappointing. We couldn't get takeout because it was raining. Thank you for the meal!

I went there after a long time. It was almost full from early hours, so it seems better to make a reservation even on weekdays! I have been to Hidezou a few times, and Hidezou seems to have a classic strong style, while Kanamoto seems to have a slightly modern and trendy image. Both are delicious and have a good value for money, and they serve quickly, so I will definitely go again!

I wonder how many times I've been there... A regular visit every few months. My favorite sushi restaurant in Osaka. The sushi is so delicious and yet so affordable. I can't believe I get to eat such amazing sushi for this price. Lately, I've been obsessed with their tamago. This is a restaurant that you must visit. I visited in May, so this is a delayed post. I ordered: - Assorted sashimi plate (1380 yen) - Live firefly squid (680 yen) - Chef's choice nigiri sushi (5 pieces for 1380 yen) ✨ ● Assorted sashimi plate Included squid, cutlassfish, octopus, barracuda, sweet shrimp, sea bream, and striped jack. The cutlassfish and barracuda were seared, adding a nice smoky flavor. It was a satisfying experience to try cutlassfish sashimi, which is not commonly found in Kansai. ● Live firefly squid A seasonal delicacy. While boiled firefly squid is common, the sashimi version is the most delicious. It's only available for about a month, so if you see it on the menu, I recommend trying it. ● Chef's choice nigiri sushi Included barracuda, saury, mirugai (geoduck clam), blackthroat seaperch, and salmon roe. Ordering this set was more cost-effective than individual pieces. I tried blackthroat seaperch for the first time, and it had a rich flavor which I enjoyed. If you have any preferences or dislikes, you can inform the chef, so I recommend starting with the chef's choice and adding more later. This restaurant is affiliated with Hidetarou, so if you prefer a more casual atmosphere, you can visit Hidetarou, or for a more sophisticated setting, you can choose this place.
