This is a restaurant I visited during my road station tour. It is located right next to the Hidaka Road Station. There is a parking lot where you can park a few cars next to the store. Since there were no other customers before or after me, I used the raised seating area. I chose the pork cutlet curry. The curry had a moderate level of spiciness and the ingredients were cut in a home-cooked style. It was unusual that the plate separated the rice and curry. The cutlet was thin but crispy and delicious. The ramen that my family ordered seemed to be simple and easy to eat for the soy sauce flavor, but my son found the salt flavor to be too strong. The prices are reasonable and I think it is easy to use. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered the extra-large miso ramen for 700 yen. Considering the current situation, it is very cheap! Despite being called extra-large, it didn't feel like two servings, more like 1.5 servings. The taste itself was quite light, almost like a slightly stronger miso soup...? However, in Hidaka, this restaurant is one of the few valuable dining options. They are open until around 7 p.m.

I went to Yorimichi-san, a dining place! It is the first shop you see just before entering the town area of Hidaka-cho. The atmosphere is like a typical diner, and the menu is right in front of you. Oh, everything is so cheap! The menu includes ramen, curry, fried rice, katsu-don, pork bowl, oyakodon, and omurice. The lineup is great. I couldn't decide what to order, but I ended up choosing the "Shoyu Ramen" for 600 yen. It's really cheap these days, which is great. There is only one master working there, and there was no conversation throughout. The ramen was served in about 6 minutes. It looks like a typical shoyu ramen with bean sprouts. The toppings include chashu, menma, naruto, and green onions. Let's dig in. This is truly diner-style ramen. It may not have any standout features, but the noodles are delicious. The chashu, bean sprouts, menma, naruto, and green onions are all there. I hope the local diner does well. I also want to contribute as much as I can. Thank you for the meal. I'm off to the next shop.

I crossed the Nikko Pass on my way back from Tokachi and it was dinner time, so I looked for a place to eat in Hidaka Town (towards Yamahidaka, as it was an amalgamation of territories). I found a place along the national highway that I had never visited before. The restaurant had a counter with 8 seats and two raised seating areas with 4 seats each. Since there were no other customers, my order came relatively quickly. I ordered soy sauce chashu ramen and fried rice. The soy sauce chashu had a rather plain taste, with a thin soup base. It didn't really suit my taste. However, the chashu made with thigh meat was quite good, which was a plus. The fried rice was decent, and I found it to be fairly tasty. Whether it was the ramen or the fried rice, I felt that a little more creativity would have been nice. Overall, I left the restaurant feeling that something was missing.
