On Sunday at 6:30 PM, there were 2 groups of customers before us and the restaurant was not crowded. Throughout our meal, there were only 2-3 groups in the restaurant, so we were able to enjoy our meal in a calm atmosphere. - Assorted Platter: The tofu with a generous amount of bean paste sauce, kimchi, and salted cod intestines were served. The kimchi was not very sweet, with a refreshing sour taste. - Gyoza: Six bite-sized gyoza were served, filled with finely chopped meat, vegetables, and glass noodles. The skin was chewy and delicious. - Half & Half Fried Chicken: This dish included sweet and spicy Ttakkanjong chicken and green onion salted fried chicken. The fried chicken tasted like freshly made bento box fried chicken, crispy and delicious. However, it was quite filling. - Tteokbokki: Chewy rice cakes with a ketchup-based sweet and spicy sauce that coated well. It also included vegetables like onions, making it tasty. - Gyeranjjim: Fluffy egg omelette cooked with vegetables in a clay pot. The egg melts in your mouth, and the flavorful broth makes it delicious.

I arrived around 6:00 and was the first one there, but soon more customers arrived and the waiting time increased, so it's better to come early. Today's three kinds of Chanja, kimchi, and tofu with Gochujang sauce. I usually don't like Chanja because of the strong smell, but this one was not too strong and I could eat it! Pork belly and Gochujang salad. The fatty pork belly with Gochujang sauce on the salad. Yangnyeom chicken. The crispy and fluffy fried chicken with sweet and salty Yangnyeom sauce was irresistible! It said 5 pieces, but there were actually 6! Fried rice. The fried rice with a soft fried egg on top had a surprisingly light seasoning and a good aroma. Garlic deep-fried. The crispy and delicious deep-fried garlic, eaten with miso. Soft bone deep-fried. The sweet and salty sauce similar to Yangnyeom sauce was plentiful, but the portion was quite large and made me feel heavy.

The Korean food stall izakaya had many menu items that were not familiar to Japanese people. We also tried Korean beer and shochu, but the beer from Japan seemed to suit my taste better. The food was all delicious, and I ended up feeling like I came to eat rather than drink.

I love spicy food, so I had been checking out this restaurant in the center of Kutchan town. When I visited, it was crowded with party guests, but thanks to the efficient staff, we were able to get a table without a reservation. My friend picked out recommended dishes, so I just waited. The Samgyeopsal was cooked by the staff and cut with scissors, making it easy to enjoy. The sweet and chewy Tteokbokki was addictive, and the spicy Kimchi dumplings were perfect. We had a lot of beer and Makgeolli, and for dessert, we had Hotteok ice cream. It was subtly sweet and so delicious. I can't believe we could enjoy such delicious Korean food in Kutchan town. Thank you for the feast.
